[Welcome… Demon Lord]
Raya stared down at his reflection in the obsidian floor. The black stone was cracked and uneven, yet it reflected him clearly enough, and what stared back was no longer human. Blue scales traced his skin like living armor, hard and cold, catching faint light with a dull shimmer. His frame was broader, heavier, packed with power that felt unfamiliar yet natural. Claws curved from his fingers, dark and sharp, and when he flexed his hand, the air itself seemed to recoil. The man who once trembled at fate was gone. In his place stood something else. “A… Demon Lord?” Raya murmured. A transparent interface materialized before him, glowing a muted reddish-black, it hovered silently. A title burned at the top. [The Forsaken One] Fear tried to rise, but then it failed. His mind remained cold and clear, as if something deeper refused to let him break. ‘A..System golden finger?’ In his previous life, he had consumed countless stories of systems, reincarnations, demons and many more fantasy stories. Two titles floated before him. Demon Lord and The Forsaken One He selected the first. [Demon Lord] The supreme ruler of demons and monsters in the world of Noah. Effect: All dark-aligned beings instinctively fear and respect you. Dark arts learning speed greatly increased. Raya exhaled slowly, then he opened the second. [The Forsaken One] Abandoned by the universe itself. Despite positive karma, you were never chosen. You suffered and died twice. Effect: Damage from heroes is halved. Your attacks against heroes deal double damage. The world instinctively fears The Forsaken One. “…So even the world is scared of me now,” Raya muttered. He scrolled further. [Race: Demonic Dragon] [Race Effect: Exceptional compatibility with magic and warrior arts] Raya’s eyes narrowed. This world followed two paths of power. Mages bent mana, twisting elements and reality itself. Warriors tempered flesh and spirit, channeling qi through weapons and bodies. Both paths were respected, but magic stood above all. And yet… He had never heard of anyone mastering both. Not once. A faint smile tugged at his lips. “So I’m an exception.” Movement stirred the air. Raya looked up…and froze. The altar hall was no longer empty. Rows of demons knelt before him, filling the vast chamber in perfect silence. Their heads were bowed, bodies trembling under restrained power. The pressure rolling off them was thick enough to weigh on the lungs. “When did you all—” he stopped. He hadn’t sensed them at all. At the very front knelt ten figures, their presence vastly different from the rest. The air around them warped subtly, as if unwilling to touch them directly. A voice broke the silence. “Welcome, Demon Lord the Twelfth.” Raya’s gaze snapped toward the speaker. A woman stepped forward, she was beautiful in a way that felt deliberate and unnatural. Two elegant black horns curved from her forehead, and vast shadowed wings rested behind her like a folded night. Her reddish dark eyes shimmered with intelligence and seductive charm. A system window appeared. [Name: Lira] [Race: Succubus] [Rank: Arch-Demon] Raya noticed something else, all ten at the front bore the same rank, ‘Arch-Demons’ “My Lord,” Lira said smoothly, dipping her head. “Allowing lesser demons to gaze upon you so freely stains your dignity. Please permit us to escort you to the throne room.” Raya’s mind raced, he couldn’t tell them the truth. That he was once a human prisoner. He just happened to be the demon lord by mistake and he is currently confused and overwhelmed. So he did the only thing he could, he nodded. Lira smiled faintly and stepped closer. “If you allow me, my Lord.” Before Raya could respond, light swallowed them whole. When the light vanished, only then did the remaining Arch-Demons raise their heads and teleport away. The lesser demons collapsed where they knelt, gasping for breath. Standing before Arch-Demons was suffocating. Standing before a Demon Lord was unbearable. But now… they finally had one. For centuries, the demon race had been without a ruler. After the death of the previous Demon Lord, no successor had emerged. The Arch-Demons ruled in his absence, waiting. Endlessly waiting, now, the wait is over. --- Raya reappeared in a vast chamber bathed in dim crimson light. A single throne dominated the room, it was massive, carved from dark stone and bones he didn’t recognize. As if drawn by instinct, Raya walked forward and sat. Moments later, the nine remaining Arch-Demons appeared and knelt. Lira stood beside the throne, posture straight, wings slightly unfurled, claiming her place without words. “What are your orders, my Lord?” she asked. “Huh?” ‘Orders?’ The question really surprised him, and he was still working on calming his thoughts. Lately, everything has been happening at such a quick pace, especially over the last few days. Raya steadied himself and looked at them. “Introduce yourselves,” he said calmly. “One by one.” A small girl stepped forward hesitantly. “G-Greetings, my Lord,” she said, bowing deeply. “My name is Clara. I… I oversee the Tenth Floor. I like drinking blood. At your service.” Raya blinked, If not for the dense demonic energy pouring off her, he would have mistaken her for a human child. His system tagged her. [Race: Werewolf] ‘The blood part wasn’t necessary though’, Raya thought. Another girl stepped forward, she looked remarkably similar to Clara, sharing the same facial features. Although she was a bit paler, she was still the same height. Her presence felt cold, yet she spoke in a cheerful manner. “My name is Claire,” she said cheerfully. “Clara’s twin, I oversee the Ninth Floor. I enjoy eating meat. Always at your service, my Lord.” Raya stared between them, then leaned back slightly, resting his clawed hand against the arm of the throne. A werewolf who liked blood and a vampire who liked meat. ‘…Is that normal?’ he wondered silently. This demon realm was already proving far stranger than he expected.Latest Chapter

Three days passed.Raya spent them as a Demon Lord should, managing his growing territories, reviewing reports from the Arch-Demons, making decisions that would shape his empire's future. He didn't bother to visit the sub-level chambers again. He'd given his orders clearly: make Zach suffer beyond comprehension, then end it. Alfred was a professional, so the result was inevitable. On the third morning, Raya sat reviewing territorial expansion maps with Lucifer when Alfred's presence announced itself at the chamber doors. The butler entered quietly, carrying a silver platter covered by a black cloth. He approached the throne and knelt, holding the platter up with both hands."My lord, it is done."Raya set aside the maps. "Show me."Alfred pulled back the cloth.Zach's head rested on the platter, eyes frozen wide in an expression of absolute terror and despair. The skin was pale, waxy, dried blood crusted around the severed neck. The face that had once sneered with noble arrogance wa

The throne room of Nightfall Tower had never felt so vast. Sofia knelt at the base of the steps, her head bowed, hands pressed flat against the cold stone floor. Around her, the ten Arch-Demons stood in a semicircle. Raya sat upon his throne, draconic form relaxed yet commanding. His golden eyes studied the young woman before him with detached curiosity. "You may speak," he said. Sofia lifted her head and spoke, "My lord, I have fulfilled every task you assigned. I betrayed my family, gathered the evidence that destroyed them, and delivered both my father and brother to your justice." “Hmm…Well done, you did well” Raya acknowledged. "How do you feel after becoming a demon?" He asked her Sofia stood and looked up at Raya, and for the first time, genuine emotion crossed her face. "Alive," she whispered. "For the first time in my entire existence, I feel truly alive." She dropped to one knee once more, head bowed. "Thank you, my lord. I am yours eternally." Raya n

Zach sat in the mansion's basement cell, replaying how he'd been captured.(Earlier, before the city fell...)"Where is the so-called King's Justice?" Lucifer's voice carried across the square, calm despite the chaos erupting around them.A guard, braver or more foolish than the rest, charged with his spear aimed at Lucifer's heart.Lucifer didn't bother move, the spear struck his chest and crumpled like wet paper."Annoying." He flicked his wrist. The guard exploded, body bursting into red mist that painted the cobblestones."Woman," Lucifer called again, stepping over what remained. "I know you're here. Show yourself, or I start killing civilians. One per second. Your choice."A woman emerged from behind the executioner's platform, face pale but expression defiant. "I'm here. What do you want, demon?""You were going to execute Zach Alderton, yes?""I was. The sentence was…""Irrelevant." Lucifer gestured, and Zach, who'd been cowering beside Helena. Nightfall Tower…Raya watched the trial's conclusion through his scrying orb, a cold smile playing across his scaled features."Three days," he murmured. "They plan to execute Zach in three days."Lira stood beside the throne. "Shall we allow it, my lord? Or intervene?""We intervene." Raya's eyes glowed with anticipation. "I didn't orchestrate all of this just to let humans steal my revenge. On the day of Zach's execution, we invade. Capture him before they can kill him. Bring him here.""And the city?""Burn the middle and inner districts to ash. Spare the outer district, I meant what I said about not harming the refugees." His hand clenched on the throne's armrest. Lucifer stepped forward, wings rustling with excitement. "My lord, your strategic brilliance is unmatched, by waiting until the execution day, you maximize chaos. The psychological impact will be devastating."Lucifer said reverently. "Your first conquest will be remembered for millennia."(Three Days Later....)The exe

The royal delegation arrived three days after the scandal broke.Twenty knights bearing the King's banner, three magistrates in formal robes, and at the center, the King's Justice, a severe woman named Helena whose reputation for impartiality was matched only by her reputation for ruthlessness. The Middle district town square was packed, hundreds of town folks had gathered, all wanting to witness nobility finally facing consequences.Helena stood on a raised platform, her voice magically amplified to reach every corner of the square."By order of His Majesty King Aldwin the Third, I have been granted full authority to investigate and render judgment upon House Alderton. The crown does not tolerate corruption, regardless of bloodline."The crowd roared approval.Helena continued without acknowledging them. "Aldric Alderton, former Viscount of Raul, step forward."Guards brought him up, Aldric looked haggard, the proud noble reduced to a shell of himself in just days, but there was stil

Days passed in a blur of coordinated chaos.---Day OneMarcus's hands trembled as the royal auditors spread his carefully doctored ledgers across the Viscount's conference table. He'd prepared for this, spent weeks forging documents, creating false trails, building his escape route with Lira's guidance. But the lead auditor's expression told him something was wrong."Interesting," the man said.He was a dwarf, brought in specifically because dwarven accountants were legendarily incorruptible. "Lord Marcus, can you explain why twelve thousand gold was transferred to this account", he tapped a ledger entry, "under the authorization code that only Viscount Aldric possesses?"Marcus's prepared answer died in his throat. "I... that is...""And yet," the dwarf continued, pulling out another document, "we have this letter, bearing your signature, instructing the transfer without the Viscount's knowledge. Curious, wouldn't you say?"The Viscount, sitting at the head of the table, leaned fo
