Victoria could tell that something was wrong but what it was, she couldn't quite figure out.

All she knew was that if she left, William would be in danger, and she didn't wish for that, but then again, if she stayed, she would be the one in danger.

Taking a deep breath, she intoned. “Mr. Khan, I don't know if you remember me.”

“Great, so you understand that I am not someone that you can just chase away as you please.”

“Miss Smith, it is best you excuse us. The discussion myself and Mister Belmont are about to have would be best done with some privacy.”

“I see.” Victoria glanced at William who nodded, letting her know it was okay to leave.

Faced with no other choice, Victoria ended up taking her leave while William remained.

Silence persisted for a few seconds before William decided to break the ice with a question.

“I just want to know one thing. Did you have a hand in what happened to your father?... I have reason to believe that.”

He must have snuck in.” An onlooker jeered at William.“I bet you are right! Look at all the garbage that he is wearing. I can’t believe that they let him in.” Another one took a jab at William.“He is in knee-deep trouble! The owner of the Lancaster International Group was not someone he could mess with.
