Felix heard the gunshot and knew instantly there was a problem.

He immediately wore his shirt and made his way out of his room. He lives in one of the apartments in the mansion. He would take the back exit and go without a car.

The only way to leave the mansion without being noticed. He picked up his other phone and placed a call to the best hacker in the country. "I need you to track down a phone right now.

I need to know where the phone is right now. I don't have much time, so I'm on the move already. I'm giving you five minutes," Felix said to the person and ended the call.

He immediately connected the call to the tracker and waited for him to do his thing. He pressed the phone to his ear so he could continue to hear what was happening. He would have preferred to say something,

but he didn't want the assassin to know she had help on the way. He just hoped she's not dead and will still be alive by the time he gets there. He was about to go outside the gate when he felt someone

“So what do you intend on doing?” Felix asked him, and he shook his head. He had his plans, and Thomas would be sorry that he messed with him. “I’m going to pretend that nothing happened. I’m going to sign the document and give him the pleasure of having the company fund with him. That would be his doom. I’m going to make sure I ruin him. There’s no coming back from this one,” Jaxon said. Soon they arrived at the Greyson Group. Felix came out of the car in a rush and opened the door for Jaxon. He alighted from the car, and they both headed inside the company. Jaxon was smiling all through, thinking of the perfect plan he had in mind. “I just need to let him believe he’s winning. We will allow him to take the money. He’s planning to do something with that money. I don’t think he’s taking the money for keeps. And now Diego has refused to support him. He has something against him. You heard when he was talking about it—he’s planning something against Diego,” Jaxon said. “I don’t th

  • A Successful Ride

Thomas had been thinking of the best way to get back at Jaxon for looking down on him and talking to him like he was nothing. This is just the best thing he has been able to come up with. He’s going to steal money from the company. This is not the first time he’s done it anyway; it’s just that this time around, he’s stealing the money for himself. He will be using the money to fight against Diego himself. He was promised that he would be handed over the company if he would work for Diego and help him handle his other businesses. But now, Diego won’t even defend him against his son-in-law. There’s no assurance he’s going to keep his promise. “If you think you’re going to use me and discard me, then you must be sorely mistaken, Diego Greyson. I will make sure to take over the business from you. All I need is some money out of what I’m going to get from the company. I’m not stealing it anyway—I’m only taking my long overdue right,” Thomas giggled wickedly as he said. Thomas arrived

  • Fall in the Net

“What do you think is going on there? She didn’t give any specific details about her plans. This is frightening. I hope she doesn’t ruin things for us. Diego was pissed that I confronted him this evening as regards Mary, but I was able to counter all he said. I just had to make sure that they were not suspected in any way. At least not yet. Let’s just hope that things don’t go badly. We don’t know what she has in mind, but there’s nothing we can do. We will have to wait and see. And if anything happens at all, you have to make sure you escape first. It is more important that you are not caught. You are the only one that can claim your estate. I can’t do that for you, Jaxon. Do you understand?” Felix asked, and Jaxon shook his head. “Nothing is happening. Nothing is going to happen. We don’t even know what’s going to happen. She just wants to be sure if what we said is the truth,” Jaxon said. He didn’t want to think otherwise. In this situation, there’s nothing bad happening.” G

  • A Bad End

Diego arrived in Georgia’s room and opened the door. He didn’t know what to expect from her, so he was very reluctant, but he did it anyway. “Are you afraid that I’m going to poison you or something? Why don’t you want to come inside the room? I have a feeling you’ve done something you don’t want me to know. What are you hiding from me? I thought we were supposed to tell everything to each other,” Georgia said, and Diego shook his head. “There’s nothing like that, Georgia. Stop filling your head with nonsense. It’s not good for you. Do you mind going straight to the point and telling me the reason why I’m here? I have a lot of things to do. I don’t have time for your games,” Diego said. And she came close to him and wrapped her hands around him. “I just wanted to have a nice time with you tonight. Is that such a bad thing? What has been going on with you lately? Talk to me,” Georgia said. And Diego shook his head. He scoffed, his hands in his pockets. “What do you want, Georgi

  • Reflection

Paul sat there in his room thinking of all the wrong things he did in the past. He should never have done them. Maybe if he had done some things differently, things wouldn’t have gone that bad. But one thing he did well was to be there in time to save Laura after Diego shot her in the head. He remembered vividly how everything happened. Diego already had plans to kill Collins, and he filled him in, asking for his help. And he, of course, agreed to help him because he always had hidden affection for Laura. How funny that all three of them fell in love with Laura, and they all loved her hard, with everything they had. Diego was, and still is, even very much obsessed with her. Paul never had the nerve to act on his feelings for her, especially after he found out that she liked Collins. But Diego didn’t let the matter go. He wanted to get back at Collins by all means. According to him, Collins stole his woman. Paul didn’t help Diego with his plans of killing Collins and taking all he

  • Flashback

Diego made his way to Georgia’s room. He could only imagine what it was that she had to say to him. She had not been this sweet with him in a long while. He didn’t care much for her. He never did, and never would. The only person he cared about was Laura. Too bad she didn’t love him the way he did. She chose his friend over him, and that was the cause of her death. He could not bear to let her go be with another man. He still remembered the words she said to him that fateful day. That was something that would forever be imprinted in his mind for as long as he lived. Flashback “Why are you doing this, Diego? I thought we were all friends. Why did you kill my husband?” Laura’s pained voice was something he had not been able to heal from. The cry of grief from her heart still traumatized him to this day. He wanted to move closer to her, but she stepped backward as she didn’t want him touching her. “What are you talking about? How could you think I’m capable of doing something lik
