Chapter 39

Henry sat up in bed. Sleep has eluded him. He kept going over what Lukas has said about Windsor.

Windsor his old man? His dad?

Henry shook his head as if to rid himself of that thought. It was a lie. Lukas must have wanted to hurt him with his words. He checked the time. It was 4am. Perfect. He threw on a shirt and headed for the gym. All through he couldn’t concentrate. Hid mind kept going back to what Lukas had said. He once again ruled that off as a statement made in anger. He continued weight lighting. Engrossed in his thoughts, he didn’t know when someone came in.

“At this rate you could be a gym rat” Henry turned to find Jackson standing in the doorway.

“What are you doing awake by this time?” Henry asked as he grabbed the door with a grunt.

Jackson walked in and went to the treadmill. “I just couldn’t sleep” he began setting the treadmill. Henry looked at the guy. They were fast becoming close to each other. In reality he was the only friend he had.
