William knew his way to the right office and was inside already.

Grey joined him and stood beside Williams.

He tried to tame his curiosity but he ended up asking, "Why did you cut away?"

Months after William had helped establish himself in this city, there was a global message.

The second-generation heir of the Miller family, William, had denounced his position until further notice.

It came as a shock to everyone in the system.

And just like that William vanished and left no traces behind.

For years, all efforts to find him proved futile.

William smiled softly and rested his back on the sofa, "Personal reasons. We Shouldn't talk about the past, Grey. How have your life been?"

Grey almost sobbed as he clenched his hand, "Old friend, how can you ask this of me? Everyone was worried about you and I couldn't sleep for months"

William sniffed, "You're always being emotional, Grey. Here" He handed over the black card to Grey and continued to speak, "I believe the restriction placed on my accounts has been lifted. I'm here to check my balance"

When he left his family, he took only one of his cards.

"There was a global message last night announcing your return. I believe the restrictions have indeed been lifted. You're William Miller, the second generation heir once again" Grey took the card from him and inserted it into a black terminal device on the glass table.

"I'm not officially back" William's demeanor was cold as he said and this made Grey pause for a second.

He made to question William when a knock sounded on the door.

"Rose, if that's you, come in" Grey pushed the black terminal device in the direction of William to insert his access code.

William had inputted his access code when the door creaked open and Rose entered with a cup of coffee.

She placed it on the desk and stylishly glanced at the loading screen of the terminal device.

"I specially made this tea for you, Young Master" Rose said respectfully and put her hands behind.

She was now prepared to do anything to get on the good side of this powerful man.

William glanced at her face and said, "Call me Williams. Always remember that"

She gasped and could not hide her expression but nodded quickly.

"You can take your leave, Rose" Grey urged her and she turned to leave but her eyes caught something.

Something that almost caused her heart to almost plunge out of her chest.

The black device now had an interface instead of a loading screen.

There were a couple of information on the interface but that which caught her attention was the account balance.

"Was that hundreds of millions or billions?" The figures looked endless and she dared not look back to get a clear view.

Rose's feet felt heavy as she left the two men in the office.

She tried hard to remember the exact figures she had seen on the device but it was impossible.

"That man is rich?" She was stunned.

The black card had not worked in her terminal.

That poorly dressed man was telling the truth from the beginning.

He had an account and regular terminal devices couldn't check his balance.

Grey caressed his full beard as he viewed the account balance of the black card with William beside him.

"Are your other cards here? This is more like pocket money for you, Old Friend "

William forced a smile. If he hadn't been poor for five years, he would agree straightway with Grey.

Billions of dollars stared right at him in the face and he called it pocket money.

" I'll be on my way, Grey "William got to his feet.

"Mr. Williams, are you leaving so quickly?" Grey stammered, wondering if he had offended the young master in any way.

"I've been in this city for five years, Friend"

When Grey heard his response, his jaw dropped in shock.

William tapped his shoulder, "I'm still around and ain't leaving anytime soon. Transfer one billion from my black card to a platinum card for my spending. I'll pick it up by tomorrow"

Transaction with black cards can only be done with the special terminal so he needed another exclusive card.

"One billion?" Grey got closer to him, "Isn't that little? Oh, I forgot. You'll be reclaiming your percentage of the family's resources and these cards will mean nothing to you"

William wanted to tell him that he wasn't planning to sign the necessary papers for it.

But he didn't want questions so he simply smiled as before.

"Allow me to personally bring the cards to you later today, Mr. Williams" Grey offered but William rejected the offer with a wave of his hand.

"I'll pick it up tomorrow"

He wouldn't want the manager of a prestigious bank showing up at his doorstep.

His in-laws would definitely have questions.

They exchanged contacts and William left.

As William walked into the lobby of the bank, he was quickly approached Rose who had been waiting patiently with her back against the wall.

"Young-- I mean Mr. William, I was wrong just now"

There was a slight frown on William's face because he already told Grey to let go of the matter.

"What do you want?" She was obvious after something.

"Um...Why don't you let me drive you home Mr. William? I just want to show my sincere apologies"

She wanted to get closer to this mysterious billionaire and this was a chance she didn't want to miss.

She was currently searching for a worthy boyfriend and this handsome man just fits in place.

"And what is your name?" William had halted to ask her.

Her face flushed red in excitement and she muttered awkwardly, "Rose... Rose Jackson"

"Miss Rose Jackson," William had continued to walk towards the exit, "I'm here with my vehicle, maybe some other time"

She watched him walk out through the door and the smile on her face widened.

Was that a green light?

Rose moved quickly to see him leave and was shocked to see him climbing into the garbage truck parked by the side.

This man did not only dress shabily but he drives a trash truck?

Could he be a trash picker as those women had claimed?

A proud smirk curled at the corner of Rose's red lips.

Now she understood the truth about this Mr. William.

He was hiding his identity as a powerful billionaire.

Such a reserved man.

Now she just had to use what she knew to get what she wanted.

Harry stood motionless, the phone still pressed to his ear as the last of the laughter died away. The world around him seemed to crumble, the weight of the revelation sinking into his bones. The realization hit him like a slap to the face, but it wasn’t enough to break the anger that was building inside him.He dropped the phone to the ground, watching as it bounced once, twice, before it clattered to a stop. His fingers twitched with rage, and the gun in his hand suddenly felt too small. Amelia had arrived at her family's villa, and the moment the gates opened, she could see a flurry of activity inside the space. Her mother’s voice pierced the air before she even stepped out of the car.Vera Sinclair was marching down the marble steps with fire in her eyes, flanked by four master practitioners and a visibly tense Edward right behind. Her hands were on her waist. “Where have you been?! Do you have any idea the chaos you caused?
