After slapping Landon, Lisa forcefully dragged the Link to Love platinum necklace from his hand.

“Why did you hit me?!” Landon was fuming with rage.

He was slapped just because he’s trying to get a necklace?!

This is the third slap he has received today for no good reason and he was fed up with it. After receiving, a slap, it was as if a nut had gotten loose in his brain because he threw his rational reasoning right out the window.

There’s no way he’s letting this embarrassment slide by this time!

“I tired of you wasting my time?! You are simply the worst! Just because we let you low life enter the store does not mean you can cause issues for real customers! Just get out of here since you can’t afford anything here.” Lisa replied harshly. Her irritation towards Landon had reached the limit.

Meanwhile, both Fernando and Elena burst out into laughter as they watched Landon being humiliated.

“Just get out of here you imbecile! You can’t afford anything here so there’s no need to keep embarrassing yourself just to create a facade!”

Landon was boiling with anger even when he heard their mocking words.

‘So you all think I can’t afford this necklace today? Why don’t we see…this necklace is going with me today!’ Landon’s angered eyes lit up with resolve.

There’s no way he would be slapped and not have this girl responsible for slapping him pay for it.

Landon brought his phone and thought about calling Eve but he decided against it. This matter seemed a bit too little to call her.

He can handle this situation himself.

“Where’s your manager?!” Landon shrieked out in rage while looking around hoping the other store attendants would come to his aid.

However, when his eyes luckily caught a door with a tag that indicated the manager’s office he went for it.

“I can’t believe this imbecile! He’s still keeping his facade even in such a state. How pathetic can he be?”

“Hey, where do you think you are going?!” Lisa yelled at Landon after seeing him heading for the manager’s office.

Lisa’s words fell on deaf ears as Landon opened the Manager’s office door.

Right now Landon was so pissed off that he did not care about his manners.

“Who are you-!”

“I want to buy the last Link to Love platinum necklace outside and I’m willing to pay 10 times the price to get it!” Landon did not let the manager complete his scream as he slammed the black card on the table.

The manager was about yelling but after seeing what Landon had slammed on the table he kept quiet.

‘Is this a supreme black card?’

The Manager’s eyes widen. He picked up the black card and with one touch and a glance he knew this was indeed the supreme black card.

The Supreme Black card was not just a card any random wealthy person could have. It won’t be an exaggeration for him to admit that the number of people that have the supreme black card in this country was not more than the fingers in one hand.

The Manager took a good glance at Landon but no matter how hard he tried there was nothing he saw about the young man that made him look extraordinary in his eyes.

“Mr David I’m sorry! I will call security immediately to make sure that this low life is thrown out of this store!” Lisa moved into the office, fearing that Mr. David, the manager would get angry at her for not restricting this bastard from entering his office.

“I also want this lady fired for slapping me in the face!” Landon pointed at Lisa as he voiced almost like he was ordering Mr. David.

“Are you mad?!”

At this point, Lisa could not help but feel that this pauper was courting death.

“Do you want to die?!” Fernando voiced out immediately as well.

Mr. David was a well-known influential figure in Dimvale City. He was a powerful man known for having a deep-rooted network in Dimvale City. Even as the Manager of this Gucci store most influential customer had to respect him when coming to this store.

“Shut your mouth! I’m demanding for my right as a customer!” Landon screamed coldly after hearing their words.

“I came to this shop to buy this necklace I had picked up first but instead I was slapped by your store attendants because she was playing favorites to sell the necklace to them?! Is this the way you guys run your store, Mr. Manger?!” Landon complained, anger evident in his voice.

Mr. David had been taken by surprise by all that was going on but he quickly understood the situation.

In a normal circumstance, he would’ve dealt with the scruffy-looking young man because he did not look like he could afford the Link to Love platinum necklace but after seeing the black card, Mr David thought otherwise.

He decided to try to settle the situation calmly as much as possible.

“Did you say you picked the necklace first young man?” Mr. David inquired.

“Yes.” Landon nodded.

Then David looked at Fernando and Elena. “I’m sorry sir and madam. We have a strict rule in our shop, the person who picks an item first gets to pay for it.”

“But Mr. David this pauper can’t afford the Link to Love platinum necklace. He will only be wasting your time.” Fernando tried to reason with Mr. David respectfully.

“I know sir but it is our rule sir if this young man's payment declines the necklace will automatically be yours to pay for. I’m just trying to follow protocol.” Mr. David replied calmly.

The truth is if Landon’s payment does not end up working he would make sure he pays dearly for it. This young man will leave this place half-dead. The only reason Mr. David was attending to this situation calmly was due to the black card in front of him.

“I’m sure this idiot won’t be able to pay!” Lisa voiced out.

“It’s okay Lisa. Since we know this we will just wait so that the lowlife will try his paying and once it fails he would be dealt with.” Fernando said.

“The imbecile deserves to be dealt with!” Elena supported.

Mr. David quickly inserted the black card into the card reader. After that, Landon inputted the card pin which was his birthday, and then a few seconds later a beep was heard.

The transaction was completed!

“What?!” Mr. David could not believe it.

“Wait the transaction was successful! The kid paid for the necklace!”

Everyone in the Gucci store was shocked!

The scene going on is so loud to catch both the worker's and customers attention.

Elena was shocked!

Even Fernando had a look of disbelief on his face.

The black card had worked. Mr. David was curious as to what a scruffy-looking young man would be doing with a black card because of this he assumed that the card had to be fake however, since the transaction was successful his doubts were proven otherwise.

‘Who the hell is this young man?!’ Mr. David took one more glance at Landon before looking at his card reader once more.

[ Transaction Successful! $50,000 received from Landon King. ]

‘King…?’ The moment Mr. David saw the last name of the young man he became petrified.

“Sir…this is impossible this low life must have stolen someone else card!” Lisa was unconvinced.

Hearing her words, Mr David quickly got up and rushed towards Landon.

Rushing towards Landon. That was what everyone thought Mr. David was doing but he hurriedly walked past Landon to meet Lisa.

Slap!

“How dare you?!”

Mr. David gave Lisa a loud slap that echoed in the entire store like thunder!

George pressed the buttons on the console, one after another, his fingers moving in frantic succession until a sharp click echoed through the checkpoint booth. The sound was unmistakable—the current flowing through the massive iron gate had been cut off, and the locks disengaged with a dull thud. For the first time since his ordeal began, freedom was within his grasp. He quickly stepped out of the checkpoint building, his movements brisk yet cautious, as though he feared someone might appear to snatch this slim chance away. Without hesitation, he rushed to the gate, placed his hands firmly against its cold metal, and heaved it open manually. The iron groaned under his effort, but it yielded, and as the gap widened, George slipped through with a surge of relief that coursed through every vein in his body.Stepping outside that cursed facility, George drew in a deep breath of the cool night air. He felt the weight of confinement leave his chest. Yet, his relief was short-lived. Just as

  • The Almighty Landon — Chapter 490

A couple of minutes earlier—right after George Anderson had stormed out of the room where Adam and Dexter were facing each other—he wandered aimlessly through the endless, suffocating hallways of the sprawling plant facility, muttering curses under his breath. He still remembered Adam’s sharp command to leave, as if Adam had any right to order him around.“Why is it so damn hard to leave this place?!” George snapped, his voice echoing against the metallic walls. His frustration wasn’t just about the labyrinth-like building; it was also a boiling resentment toward Adam. The memory of Adam’s command replayed in his head like an irritating itch he couldn’t scratch. Adam’s cold tone, his absolute certainty—George smacked his tongue loudly, his anger swelling.“That bastard!” George hissed. “Ordering me around like we’re equals. Who the fuck does he think he’s talking to?!” His fists clenched tightly, his nails biting into his palms as he fumed. For a brief moment, George entertained the t

  • The Almighty Landon — Chapter 489

He had just come to the bitter realization that what Adam said earlier was true—there was absolutely no way to escape the suffocating grip of the plant if Andrews hoped to keep concealing himself. Every possible strategy he had considered had collapsed into dust the moment Adam’s words sank in.If Andrews truly wanted to break free, then he would have to abandon the mission and escape without the other targets. Yet that option was never on the table for him. The mission was far too important. His responsibility to the others, to their cause, outweighed even his own survival. Adam knew this, and that was exactly why he stood there, calm and steady, while Andrews was trapped in despair. It was only a matter of time before Andrews met his death at Adam’s hands.Adam inhaled deeply, his chest rising as he steadied his breath, then sighed in a tone that carried both weariness and sharp determination. His eyes, glowing faintly with restrained fury, locked on Dexter.“Now,” Adam said, his vo

  • The Almighty Landon — Chapter 488

The way Adam held Dexter up by his neck—his toes barely brushing the dusty floor—made the mage look like a ragdoll dangling helplessly in the air. Dexter’s face was turning an unhealthy shade of red, and his breath came in short, desperate rasps as the pressure on his windpipe increased. His eyes bulged slightly, and beads of sweat formed on his forehead. He tried to squirm free, but Adam’s grip was like iron. The suffocating sensation was unbearable, yet Dexter’s ego refused to allow him to plead for mercy. He would rather choke than beg Adam for release. That same stubborn arrogance that had carried him this far pushed him to gamble on one last desperate move. Since Adam had brought their bodies so close, Dexter thought perhaps he could take advantage of the proximity to land a surprise strike.Summoning every ounce of willpower left in his fading body, Dexter reached into his pocket with his free hand. His fingers fumbled, but at last they found the handle of a small concealed knif

  • The Almighty Landon — Chapter 487

Adam groaned, his tone carrying both annoyance and fatigue. Things had become far more complicated than he had anticipated. What was supposed to be a straightforward takedown was spiraling into something much more difficult.Who would have imagined that Dexter, the arrogant mage, was capable of pulling off something so dangerous—changing the trajectory of his fireballs, turning them into guided projectiles that acted almost like homing missiles? It wasn’t something Adam had expected, and it was impressive in its own twisted way. Then again, Dexter wasn’t just any random mage. He was well-versed in spellcraft, someone with a frighteningly deep pool of knowledge and experience. More importantly, he was a recognized member of Saber Synth, the most powerful and feared magical organization in the entire world. With credentials like that, perhaps nothing Dexter did should ever be considered *too* surprising. And yet, even with that in mind, this new development bordered on the ridiculous.“

  • The Almighty Landon — Chapter 486

Angry and frustrated that his last barrage had failed to strike Adam, Dexter began to unleash fireballs one after the other in rapid succession. His target remained the same—Adam, who kept darting around the room with incredible speed, evading every single attack as though the fireballs were nothing more than playful sparks.Adam’s plan was simple yet highly effective. He wasn’t going to recklessly charge in. Instead, he chose to keep moving, carefully circling and closing in on Dexter while dodging the incoming fireballs. Once he was close enough, he intended to finish the battle swiftly.Dexter, however, wasn’t a fool. He knew exactly what Adam was planning. That was why he continued to fire one scorching purple flame after another, not necessarily to hit Adam directly, but to maintain distance and keep the martial artist from closing the gap.But there was a limit. Dexter was running out of ammunition. He understood the mechanics of his own spell better than anyone else, and he kne
