Emily Miller still lay stiff with foam dribbling from her lips. Though at first glance the girl seemed lifeless, Calvin felt that healing Emily wouldn't be difficult.

"There is one condition before I begin the healing," Calvin said, placing his hand on Emily's neck pulse.

Edward Miller nodded in agreement. "Whatever your condition, I agree. Even if you ask for a special reward, I will fulfill all your desires."

"No one is allowed to disturb my healing process," Calvin muttered, moving his hand as if to unbutton Emily's chest.

"How could Mr. Miller be deceived by the talk of a foreign young man like him?" one of David Longman's assistants whispered to his friend with a hateful expression.

"Shh... Let him be deceived by his own foolishness, he let that young man touch his daughter, that means he really doesn't appreciate Doctor Longman," his friend replied.

As Calvin truly unbuttoned Emily's chest, preparing to place his hand directly on her solar plexus, David Longman furrowed his brow and muttered cynically.

"Damn, this kid turns out to be just a lecherous young man pretending to be a healer, look, now he's placing his hand on her solar plexus, he'll soon be groping Emily's body!"

Calvin didn't respond to David Longman's insults; he even seemed to agree with David's words. Now Calvin's fingers were slowly moving, groping inch by inch of Emily's skin surface, making two of David Longman's assistants increasingly furious to watch.

"Dr. Longman, can we call the police now? That lecherous young man is just taking advantage of Miss Emily's condition!" one of David Longman's assistants screamed.

Before David could answer, his other assistant chimed in, "This kind of thing cannot be allowed, Dr. Longman. Moreover, Miss Emily is your patient, you must do something..."

Listening to two of David Longman's assistants mocking him, Calvin smiled cynically and glanced at them for a moment. "Call the police, say to the police, there is a doctor who can't do anything to protect his patient's life. Let's see what punishment awaits your idol doctor."

David Longman instantly became angry; he wanted to strike Calvin, but a moment before that happened, Edward Miller pushed David Longman's body backward. Keeping the senior doctor away from Calvin and Emily.

"Dr. Longman, please don't disturb that young man. Emily's life is at stake, please let him heal my daughter," Edward Miller pleaded.

"Mr. Edward, you may be desperate, but don't act foolishly like this! You will regret it deeply once you realize your folly!" David Longman snapped, starting to lose patience with the situation.

Two of David Longman's assistants rushed to support David's body from behind as if providing protection to the senior doctor.

"Mr. Miller, Dr. Longman is the greatest genius doctor in Maplewood. All of Dr. Longman's diagnoses have 100% accuracy; your actions truly have insulted our senior!" one of David Longman's assistants said to Edward Miller.

Edward Miller could only apologize to everyone. However, of course, David Longman's two assistants did not accept Edward's apology so easily.

"Please drive that young man away, and respect all Dr. Longman’s diagnoses, that way we won't consider your actions as an insult to our honorable doctor," one of David's assistants said.

The request made Edward Miller silent. He looked at Calvin, who was still earnestly examining his daughter's body. Meanwhile, Calvin glanced at Edward who was in a dilemma.

"If I don't finish my treatment, your daughter will die soon. You have two choices, drive me away, or ask them to be quiet," Calvin said.

Edward Miller swallowed hard. Calvin's calm and serious tone made it difficult for him not to trust the young man. So, once again, Edward Miller turned to David Longman and his two assistants.

"Gentlemen, please... Please be calm while this young man treats my daughter, I'm not ready to lose my daughter, please..."

"Mr. Miller, since when have you become this foolish? Look at that young man, look at your daughter's body, that young man will only hasten your daughter's death!" David Longman yelled angrily. "Oh, if that young man could really do something useful for your daughter, I wouldn't mind kneeling at his feet to ask him to be my master!" David Longman said, and at the same time, a sound was heard that surprised everyone.

Cough! Cough!

Everyone heard Emily coughing!

The girl who David Longman predicted would die in a few minutes now seemed to be opening her eyes!
