Hector walked out of the sales office, the key to the mansion in his hand. He twirled it back and forth, his eyes fixed on it. He’d managed to send off the others after purchasing the mansion, especially Vincent.

Once it was announced that Ava was fired, she didn’t hesitate to leave. He thought she might try to beg or convince the boss, but instead, she just glared at Hill and left. That look was more than suspicious, but since he had no reason to be at the company anymore after buying the mansion, he left.

Hector headed toward the mansion but paused halfway, feeling like there was something he was forgetting. Then it came to him: next week was his and Madison’s wedding anniversary.

It would be their third anniversary, and he’d never celebrated their past anniversaries. This time was going to be different. Now, he could finally celebrate and make it a memorable one.
