They were already inside, and as they approached the counter, Meira adjusted the camera to give her viewers a clear shot of the dazzling jewelry displayed in the glass cases. However, the woman behind the counter fixed them with a sharp, disdainful glare, her lips curling in an obvious sneer.

“Excuse me,” the saleswoman drawled, her tone dripping with condescension. “Are you lost? We don’t entertain people who browse without buying, let alone those who clearly can’t afford anything here.”

Hector’s brows furrowed, but before he could respond, the woman’s gaze shifted to Meira’s phone, and her expression darkened further. “And put that camera away. This isn’t some tourist attraction. We reserve our merchandise for serious clientele, not wannabe influencers looking for free publicity.”

Her eyes flicked over Hector’s casual outfit with a sneer. “Honestly, I don’t even know why security let you in. If you’re not here to make a significant purchase, I suggest you leave—immediately
