Isabella approached the investigator with a sense of urgency in her voice.

It was where she was headed in a hurry because she needed to take quick action concerning Alex’s secret affair, and to do that, she had to know everything about Emily.

"I need more information on someone.” She told the investigator, her tone clipped and serious.

The investigator's eyes narrowed. "And may I ask why?”

She hesitated, her gaze flickering away for a moment, before she composed herself.

"Let's just say it's a personal matter.” She replied cryptically.

He studied her for a moment longer before nodding slowly.

"Very well," he said, his voice guarded.

She reached into her purse and pulled out a photograph she had printed of Emily, which she had captured the previous day while she was with Alex on the school campus.
