"How could you do this to me, Anna?" Morel stared at the woman he had been in love with for the past three months in disbelief.

The woman seemed to take off her clothes, they briefly kissed before entering the room, and Morel saw it. Morel was stunned for a while until he finally banged on their door.

Anna looked a bit surprised for a moment, then afterward, she leaned closer to Robert, the stranger Morel didn't recognize, and then she deliberately kissed him on the cheek.

Morel's eyes opened wide. He was not mistaken. Anna did cheat on him.

"Anna, what are you doing?" Morel tried to pull Anna's hand away, but she pushed him away.

Anna looked at Morel with her eyebrows twitching in distaste. "Don't touch me." She gave Morel a strange look. "Of course, I can do it because I feel bored with you."

Morel stared at the woman uncomprehendingly. What made Anna feel bored? For three months, their relationship was delicate. There was no problem, so suddenly Anna said she was bored. That didn't make sense.

"Wasn't there never a fight in our relationship? I treated you well and listened to what you wanted. I did many things to keep you by my side." Morel stared at her intently.

Robert snorted at Morel. "You're outrageous and shameless." He glanced Morel up and down with a low gaze. "You're asking a woman like Anna to stick with you?"

He laughed, and then Anna looked at him and laughed too. Dannis brought Anna's body closer to his and wrapped his arms around her waist intimately. "With a poor, despicable man like you?"

Their laughter was getting louder in the quiet room, and only three were there.

Morel looked at him sharply, with his jaw clenched hard. "Shut your mouth. This is none of your business." Morel gave him a warning and then turned to Anna. "Anna, come with me. Let's talk about what happened."

Morel tried to pull Anna's hand away, he wanted to settle the matter between them nicely and speak more calmly, but it wasn't there.

But Robert slapped away Morel's hand, which was trying to touch Anna. "Didn't you hear what Anna said?" He moved forward and tried to narrow their distance. "She doesn't want you to touch her, you scum!"

"I said none of your business." Morel pushed him away, not caring if he hurt the man.

Robert pushed Morel back, looking even more angry than before. "It's none of my business!" the man shouted in Morel's face, while Anna couldn't stop holding the man's hand. "Because we're getting married soon."

Robert smiled victoriously in front of Morel, then he pulled Anna and kissed Anna's lips again in front of Morel intimately.

Morel clenched his jaw, his chest burning. He clenched his fists tightly, then stared at those who had unlinked their lips.

"Anna ...." He called the name flatly and tried to be patient. "Tell me that's not true."

Morel tried to deny his mind that knew that what he was seeing right now was a betrayal. He could not yet accept and process it with reason.

Anna stared at him bravely, not a hint of love for Morel ever showing in her eyes. "What Robert said is true. Robert is my boyfriend, and we're getting married soon."

"Realize you're a poor man, don't expect Anna to want someone like you," Robert spoke again, but Morel ignored him.

Morel was stunned, but part of him kept trying to get Anna back. "That can't happen, Anna, we're getting married. Me and you. I even worked hard to buy that Sapphire stone ring we saw back then."

Morel wanted his relationship with Anna to succeed, so he did everything he could for Anna.

Anna laughed in Morel's face. "That's not going to happen. No matter how hard you try, you'll never be able to make me happy. Because you're just a poor man." Anna scoffed at him.

Morel looked at her coldly. Anna was like a figure he no longer recognized. The woman he loved now seemed very strange to Morel.

"I don't want to live in poverty with you, Morel. I don't want to live in hardship and humiliation." She emphasized her words.

Morel was willing to do many things to ensure Anna's life. He even promised that Anna's feet and hands would never become rough from doing any work during the time they would spend together.

He would never make Anna or allow Anna to be humiliated by people, but apparently, Anna didn't have that faith in Morel. Anna did not see Morel's sincere love for her.

"About the ring, I already bought it as a gift for Anna." Robert took Anna's hand and showed her a ring wrapped around her finger.

A ring with a diamond larger than the size of the sapphire they had seen, the ring seemed to shine and sit beautifully on Anna's finger.

Anna showed it proudly. "You can never give this kind of thing because you're just a poor man." Anna gave him a scathing look. "Two hundred thousand dollars is not the amount of money you can accumulate even in a year."

"I love Dannis anyway, so it's better to end it. I want us to break up and go away. I don't want to see you again." She looked down at Morel.

Anna was disgusted and disgusted with Morel. She held on to him because she still hadn't found anything better. When she finally found someone much better than Morel, of course, she no longer needed to maintain their relationship. Because she, too, was tired of being trapped in poverty and wanted the luxurious life of having a rich man by her side.

"I'm sick of sticking with you, who always smells of sweat from working hard and odd jobs. It feels so annoying every time you come close and touch me," Anna said with a snort and a sour look.

Morel was stunned to hear that. His hand that tried to touch Anna moved down sluggishly, instantly. "You're too much, Anna," Morel spoke quietly, looking at her disappointed.

"That's right, you smell terrible, so leave." Robert pushed Morel's body from the doorway, making the body retreat forcefully.

Robert laughed. "Go away. You must be busy." He chased after Morel, then slammed the hotel door right in front of Morel's face.

Morel stared at the brown door with emotions gathering in his chest. His jaw clenched tightly. His hands clenched so tightly that the veins in his hands seemed to protrude along the skin of his hands.

Morel turned his body over, his head not thinking correctly. He took a deep breath and exhaled. He tried several times, but his emotions did not subside.

His chest, still stuffy and tight, he closed his eyes and tried to appeal to his logic. Then, he quickly moved on. He walked out of the hotel with a worn look on his face.

What they did made Morel hurt. He felt cheated by Anna's attitude towards him. He wrung his hands and patted his chest to wake up.

"I need to get back to work," he said as he got on the elevator to go down.

Morel felt hurt and disappointed in Anna, the woman he had once loved. But he didn't have time to slump because he had to return to work.

Just as he got off and walked on the stairs, Morel felt his phone in his pocket vibrate. He walked while checking, but his steps stopped abruptly. His eyelids opened wide at the notification he had just gotten on his phone.

"What is this? One hundred million dollars?" He was stunned, staring in disbelief at what he saw.

Before he was done with the shock, Morel saw that the shadow above his eyes seemed to be watching him, so he raised his face and looked at the person.

Morel saw a neatly dressed man in a black suit standing near his scooter. The man smiled and bowed towards him. "young master." The man called out to him in a polite tone.

Morel stared at him in surprise, staying where he was because of the strange things happening to him.
