"Poor thing. You must be feeling bitter right now, it was never my intention to hurt you Aidan, but in everything I do, my family business comes first. I intended to spend more time with you, but your loss of sight has made things a bit complicated, so you'll have to leave my life, I can't tolerate a blind man."

For a split second, something indefinable flared in his face, before the mask fell and his expression became unfathomable.

FOOL, a voice in his head taunted. How could he have fallen into such a trap? Arissa had deceived him cruelly, he had trusted her implicitly. How did all this happen? He thought that he'd finally found some form of peace in his life when he met Arissa but here she is, in her matrimonial bed, with her ex-lover, telling him that their marriage was nothing but a contract. A contract he never had an idea of.

"Don't be so hard on yourself Aidan, any man would fall for Arissa's charms, she is such a beauty, a brain, and a sly crook of a woman, " Draco commented seeing agony and anger in the blind's man expression.

"Oh stop sweetie, you're making me blush unnecessarily," Arissa said, bringing his head down to kiss him, Draco returned the kiss hungrily.

The sound of their kissing created an image in his mind, he stood up and launched forward to get hold of Draco and beat him to a pulp. He might be blind but he's still very much a man, and an imp-like Draco Malfoy stood no chance against him.

They sense him standing up and knowing his intention, Draco immediately sat Arissa on the bed and made a grab for the bedside lamp, and smashed it on his body before he could throw any punches.

Aidan was shaken by the object that landed on his shoulder, he tripped on the leg stretched by Draco and fell flat on his face. Taking advantage of the fallen man, Draco used his legs to tramp on him, kicking him so hard that his breathing became heavy.

Aidan who is on the receiving end felt none of his numerous kicks, he felt numb to all physical pain. His inside is in greater pain compared to anything in the world. How did his imperfect life become such a nightmare? Why has God written nothing in his destiny other than pain and suffering?

"Stop Draco, stop." Came the shrilling command from Arissa, "you wouldn't want to have a poor heartbroken man's blood in your beautiful hands. Would you?"

"The hell I do! I despise this man, I wish him dead."He swore, breathing heavily.

"Now, calm down sweetheart. He's going away from our life, don't stress about it." She said trailing her fingers on his cheekbone.

"Now take him out of my room, out of my house, and out of my life....," Draco arched an eyebrow. "I mean out of our life." She quickly corrected it.

He smiled and dragged the man who was shaken up, "you'll pay for this Arissa." Aidan muttered, and Draco was about to hit him again when Arissa told him to halt.

"Don't waste your strength on him, my love. I still need you by my side tonight, he'll meet his faith soon. Now throw him out." Arissa ordered once again.

He was dragged from the bedroom, upon reaching the entrance to the house, he thrust open the gate and threw him out.

Draco was heaving heavily, despite their slim features of Aidan, he's not someone to be bundled with ease.

"And stay out of my life, Aidan. You're now as useless as anything can be." Arissa commented.

"You can start begging on the streets, genius one." Draco chipped in sarcastically.

"Come here sweetie, we have a lot of adventures to seek in the sexual world tonight." She said dragging Draco after jamming the gate locked.

Aidan lay sprawled on the floor, he was still in a daze after everything, the sound of the heavy gate being locked brought him back to his senses. He managed and stood up intending to bang on the gate but the gate emitted shock waves and pushed him back.

He landed on the floor cursing under his breath, he heard the two crooks giggling and walking away. This is the time he needed his eyes most and here he is, in nothing but darkness.

He got blind when he went on the family's business trip, he was a man in good health with a bright future. When he'd finished school with one of the best results in business in the United States, many business companies wanted to employ him but he settled for his in-law's company since he was getting into the family.

He'd help the company grow within a short period with his business strategies and advice, and where had that landed him? In the street, with a loss of sight as a reward. He answered himself.

He got up ruminating about his life. He had no idea about where he was going but with the way his inside was boiling with anger, he could think of nothing except bringing the Pedros to their knees. He wants to dish them their poison.

He collided with something but he immediately regained his body composition. He wished to see Jonas at this point. Everything the man had been saying is facts, the only woman he's tolerating all the mistreatment given to him for, turns out to be nothing but a sly crook. His married life is a lie.

He felt a car following him all of a sudden, what would a car be doing in this street at this devil's hour?

He thought he was probably obstructing the vehicle's pathway, so he used his hand to search for something to hold but nothing came in handy.

He felt the car's engine die suddenly, and he relaxed, still looking for something to get hold of. He intends to stay put for the night and think of the next step to take.

The engine suddenly flared up to life, the car was approaching at high speed now, and not having any idea what to do decided to stay still, probably the driver would see him and dodge if he was on his pathway.

The car hit him so hard that he felt himself flying a few inches from the floor, and he landed on the ground. He could hear the car zooming away before his thoughts went blank.
