As Rin's head was filled with echoes of the name BloodBath System, Time quickly passed without a word or sound from the system.

As the system had stopped showing itself, The 7 {Astral Souls} took this as a chance to move on to their main goal, which was deciding what to do with Rin.

{Now Rin, are you ready to accept our judgment!?}

As Rin heard Pride's words, his mind would create a familiar scene inside his head of the days when they all got along, but this scene meant nothing in the current situation hence why Rin with a resolved look on his face answered with a yes to Pride's question.

{Haha looks like you haven't changed at all, little brother.}

[See. I told you that he was still stubborn.] said Wrath who had a carefree look on his face.

Rin was trying his best to forget about the old days, but with how his brothers acted a gentle smile formed on his face even in his current situation.

_ Yah.. yah we know he's your favorite, so could we get this over with?_ said greed who had a look of longing on his face.

|Haha come on now Greed, no need to be jealous of our younger brother right?|

Just as Pride stepped in on the family quarrel, Everyone went quiet as they knew that things were about to get serious.

{Now Rin, You are being judged right now because of your actions that ultimately led us to be in our current situation.}

What followed was a tale that led to all of the 8 brothers being in their current situation, Their tale went as such...

Rin, who was the younger brother of the 8 siblings had fled from the soul realm because of the fear of being constantly compared to his older siblings.

the soul realm is a place where all souls ultimately end up, and there in the soul realm exist {Astral Souls}: Souls who have lived for tens of thousands of years and have developed abilities relating to their personalities.

Rin, the sinless soul was infact an {Astral Souls} but because he had no clear personality, he was unable to develop soul power. Being the youngest out of the great 8 {Astral Souls}, Rin was always ridiculed, and this is what caused him to run away.

But running away to a place his brothers couldn't reach was impossible, that was until an opportunity to go to the human realm presented itself.

Rin didn't think much as he rushed towards the first opportunity he got and this was to possess the body of a dead infant, but because possessing a body in the human realm was an almost impossible task...

Rin used most of his power and lost all of his memories. it was like he was just a newborn who gradually learned things as time progressed.

After a couple of years in the human realm, Rin was living normally until the system and its transfer simulation that had caused the two glitches came.

On the first glitch, Some of Rin's strength returned and he was able to prevent himself from dying, but at the same time, the first glitch had opened a gateway for the other 7 brothers to pass through.

They were quickly able to locate Rin because of the amount of soul strength he had, but as they were about to take Rin out of Hinata Fujuzuki's body, They were also trapped inside his body causing all memories of that day to be lost.

But this all changed when the system launched the second grade of the transfer simulation. The 7 souls got their memories back and Rin only got his memories from the first glitch back nothing more, nothing less.

Because now 7 more souls occupied the same body, Rin wasn't able to use his passive ability to see danger in the future like last time, this was what had caused them to die.

The tale of Rin's crimes ended with their deaths. He was being judged for Entering the human realm, Using a human as a vessel, and causing the deaths of his 7 brothers.

{ Rin, Do you accept your crimes?}

" I do, all except for causing your deaths." As Rin said those words, some of the 7 Souls showed anger on their faces.

_Why?_

"You're all here talking with me aren't you? so technically you are still alive."

With Rin's claim, The other souls went silent. That was for all except Wrath who was loudly laughing while floating in midair.

[You gotta admit Greed, Rin still got that fire in him.] as Wrath said that, all the other souls nodded to his words.

_Tch! Who cares._

{As you've just said we are still alive, but that won't be the same in the upcoming future.}

Rin hearing his brother's words had a dumbfounded look on his face as he asked "What do you mean?" and as soon as Rin asked this, everyone's expression went dark.

\ Since most of our strength was lost when we were trapped inside Fujuzuki's body, our souls are slowly fading away./

"That's.." The news Rin just heard was shocking, even if he was constantly compared to them they were still his siblings.

"Isn't there anything you can do to get your strength back?"

(If we were to get enough energy our strength might recover, but am sure you know the problem with the amount of energy we need.)

"You need energy almost kin to that of a God right?"

(Exactly, so where are we gonna find gods who would willingly give us their energy.)

The sad expressions on everyone's faces grew with every second, and Rin who was unable to bare that remembered the system introducing itself.

" That's it the system. Guys the system said that they are over thousands of God Candidates in every era right? And since I've been chosen for a candidate this time doesn't that mean there are many more out there like me?"

As Rin gave out what had just come to his mind, Evil smiles grew on the 8 siblings as they now had a goal.

\But the problem is that we won't be able to last until we meet another good Candidate/

The sudden realization of the shortage of time had brought back the sad expressions on everyone's faces all except for Wrath who seemed to have an idea.

Soul Fusion was the fusion of souls that had close resembles and had a great understanding of each other, which is why their being siblings was beneficial.
