Aviation fuel is basically a refined form of kerosene with a lot of the impurities removed so that the jet engine is not damaged. Apart from that it’s not much different to regular kerosene.

The plane is a charter plane or one that belongs to the QES. What is the objection of shooting it down? It would be a different matter if it were a civilian airliner with other innocent passengers on board.
