The Curse Of the Black Diamond

SELECTED OR CURSE??

       They finally arrive at the National Museum of Ancient Tradition and noticed that the place has been surrounded by the police who tell them that,"We've got them surrounded, the moment they step out we get them, we've also evacuated the area so that no one else gets hurt."

 "What do you mean no one else? " Mr.Norman asks. "The workers in the museum,we believe are either dead or injured cause we heard gunshots from the building when we arrived here" They reply. "Sir we have to go in now before it's too late" Reece says to Mr.Norman with fear that by the time they come out, the outcasts would be powerful and there would be nothing they can do to stop them.

"Reece just listen to orders and let's wait till they come out and then we attack" Mr.Norman warns him and tells him not to do anything silly. Reece has no option than to follow orders and waits till they come out knowing very well that it would not end well for them.He goes back into the patrol van and waits as he's been told to do  with Samuel and Dr.Manuel.

    

        It's now 11:50 and Reece begins to run out of patience and notices the moon's color has changed to red and informs Dr.Manuel and asks him the meaning."It's the blood moon, if you guys don't act quickly that'll be the end and there's nothing you can do to stop them." Says Dr. Manuel.

  "Oh no, it's now 11:55, five minutes more to 12:00, I can't sit here and do nothing, I'm going in."Reece says after running out of patience and gets out of the patrol van and is followed by Samuel and the police force. They go through the entrance and the outcasts start shooting at them, "Everyone!!, take cover!!", says Mr.Norman as they all find places to hide to avoid getting shot at. 

   Reece and Samuel take cover at the same place and try to eliminate some of the outcasts to get to the ritual hall which is located in the center of the museum. 

"Cover me, I'll get to the ritual hall and stop the ritual from happening." Reece tells Samuel as he moves towards the ritual hall. He eventually gets there and luck enough for him there's no one guarding the entrance as he hides behind the entrance and takes a look at his watch and notices it's 12:00. 

   As he observes what's happening.,the leader of the outcasts and other three other members including the informant who escaped when they rescued Dr.Manuel.He sees George who is at gunpoint and is told to keep quiet and comply or else he'd be killed. One of the members of the outcasts who happens to be the clan's ritualist, takes George's hand and cuts his palm and squeezes his blood to allow the blood to drip on the diamond which has been placed on the floor being exposed to the blood moon and then something happens, the diamond, after the blood spills on it is heated up and evaporates the blood and then begins to glow and suspends in the air. 

   Reece enters and points his gun to the ritualist and says" Let the boy go and  surrender yourselves". They smile as they say"You can have him, we have no use for him anymore" as they push him towards Reece and as the leader of the outcasts tries to grab the diamond and harness its power, Reece, who is at gun point, shoots the arm of the leader and tells George to run as he takes cover and runs to grab the diamond and suddenly ,when he gets close to the Diamond,the blood moon shines much brighter as he is suspended into the air and the diamond goes straight into his chest and is attached to him sending him into the spirit world to be briefed by the gods on the power of the diamond as he disappears and reappears quickly causing him to fall unconscious .

    Whereas, the Police and the NIA have been able to defeat the outlaws and enter, running into George as they ask him where Reece is and they are located to the ritual hall where unfortunately the leader of the outcasts has escaped and they find Reece lying down on the floor which causes panic to Samuel who rushes to checkup on him and to his relief, Reece is still alive as they get him to the ambulance for healthcare as they notice the diamond on his chest but keep their mouths shut on it and cover him up.
