Sophia is part of the Stepanov Clan, meaning Leo isn't related to Amelia, but he is related to Sylvester because they share an ancestor. The true Stepanov family members are Amelia and her brothers, Yuri, Erik and Andrew. The rest are the Stepanov clan members. A clan they started over six hundred years ago after the council sacked both families. Also, there is only one ruling family, and that is Sylvester and his immediate family. The Stepanovs and Volkovs share two ancestors giving them equal status. I was going to create a family tree in February but I couldn't due to everything that has been going on with me, But I will delegate the work to a friend and post it.
