Yeah he ask them not to fight but he is allowing yuri to be their leader.. yuri doesn’t even treat his own family well. So allowing him to rule over the south while he leaves his people behind is crazy. I think he should have allowed his people temporarily to leave just like max did.

I don’t think so Terri, I see it this way. His not telling them to fight for him. But yo leave or surrender do not fight a battle you can’t win. Also some of his packs members are compromised and he doesn’t know who they are. Why sacrifice your life and others for nothing.
This chapter was about the south. I had not a single issue with understanding what the author was saying. I understood that they were in the East and talking about the South falling.

Yuri seem like the type of person that will force people to serve him or else die or be locked up. Devin seem very selfish to only care about him and mate safety. He swore oaths to protect the people. I am disappointed in Devin action. He should at least make sure his people are safe.

So basically what Devin is saying his pack should lay down thier lives for yuri and his men since he is the new leader of the south. Yuri is going to use Devin entire pack even those that are innocent for his agenda and lives will still be lost when they go to war.
I don’t think devin is a good alpha for the south. He doesn’t care about anyone in his pack except his mate. Why didn’t he just tell his pack that yuri is coming and they need to evacuate to the north, south or west temporarily if they don’t want to be subjected under yuri cruelty.Give them a choice

I love reading your novel, but you should try more proofreading. I can see why some readers do not understand certain things. They are presently in the east, but you keep saying the South.
I'm wondering if Andrew doesn't have some kind of device in him that's let's Yuri knows what's going on? I hope he's not really a traitor.
