Chapter 02 The Lizardmen Village

The village has a lot of resources, but the goblins used them incorrectly, trading magic stones for food rather than hunting by themselves. Using iron and steel to produce armor or a stronger weapon, creating a long-lasting dwelling, and distributing chores in a better method. If they used them correctly then this village might become a kingdom that will be on par with any neighboring countries.

Trivia: Goblin is the weakest among the race, but there are certain ways to awaken themselves and that is by slaying monsters, species, or studying magic skills.

"So you have evolved into magi-goblin after studying some basic law of magic?"

"Yes, master. I also tried to teach the others, but they couldn't comprehend it too well."

"It's okay. Everyone has their own talent and it's just a matter of time before they show their capabilities. But I was quite astonished about you because you already become a magician despite the fact that we, goblins is the weakest among all. Hmm, by the way, Goblu, do you know anyone who is good at forging?"

Goblu pondered for quite a while, and spoke, "I am unsure, but Lizardmen wore bronze armor and iron sword so maybe they have what you were looking for?"

"Then Khufra and I will find a suitable forger for our village, and while I'm away, I will delegate you as the temporary chief of this village. Ahh, also, let the other goblins mine every iron and steel."

Rey was about to leave, but Goblu suddenly took something from his little wallet and gave something to Rey.

"Before you go, please keep this map." He stretched his arm and eventually gave the map to Rey.

"Map?"

"The map of Tenebris Silva. The forest that surround the center of the continent."

"Ohh? Let me see."

"The red dot on the map was the current location of the lizardmen village while the blue one was our present location." He pointed his finger to the specific location as he spoke.

"Hm.. Okay."

While they were on their way to the lizardmen's village, Rey took his time to think and analyze how the progress bar work.

"Hmm, let's see.. I gained two new abilities just after dominating the two, if my analysis was correct, then after being dominated by me, I could receive a random ability from them."

As Rey was analyzing his progress bar khufra suddenly stopped and released a killing intent out of nowhere.

"Khufra, is there a problem?"

"I sensed something familiar. If I'm not mistaken, we were being targeted by a C-Rank monster."

"Oh? What kind of monster was it?"

"Only snake was good at hiding its presence in this degree."

"Hm.."

"Master it was coming!"

The C-Rank Snake swiftly approached the two while Khufra told Rey that it was the one who injured him the first time they met.

"Master, it has the ability of poison, after being bitten, one would suffer from paralyzation and his insides will gradually decay!"

"Okay!"

Rey readied himself for incoming danger and imbued cursed innergy to his knife while using the berserk skill that increased his stats by 25% with a limit of two minutes.

The snake chose to target Rey as if it was telling him that he was the most threat than Khufra.

"His speed is no joke!"

Rey tried to avoid every attack of his but ended up failing.

He was bitten and gradually felt some danger on his body while the snake once again attacked him. Rey grabbed its soft scale body and immediately cut his head.

But before dying, he already dominated the snake which receives him the >Resistance to Poison<

It was a gamble, if he didn’t used the domination skill before it died, he would certainly be the one to first die from the poison that he receives from the snake bite.

"Are you okay, master?"

The snake didn’t heal after being dominated by Rey, but it turn the other way around. The snake turned into a Half-Conscious Spirit that seemingly alive but not. After a few moments, the snake suddenly entered his body.

He was a little shocked and abruptly opened his progress bar and saw something new.

After an hour of their journey, they have finally arrived at the Lizardmen Village.

"So this is their village.. If you look closely, this village really has a forger master residing in here." Muttered Rey.

_Who are you? Why are you looking at us like that?!_

"Their military combatant is no joke, they are all using a spear and based on their body, they were trained for a long time. I wonder who's the chief of this lizardmen?" Muttered Rey.

_Protect the chief, all lizard warrior assemble!_

"Don't fret I want to talk to your chieftain, I am the new chief of goblin village."

_This? Wait here don't move!_

After a few moments, the chieftain of the lozardmen himself showed, and spoke, “Hello visitors, I am the current chief of this village. May I know why the chief of the goblin village visit us?”

"The thing is I need someone that was good at forging, If you have someone you could recommend to me, then I want to hire him.”

"Ohh, So you want our forger master , uh? You sure have the guts for a mere ogre.”

"Their military was good, but their common sense was lacking.. Khufra attack them!"

"Yes master!"

"Khufra don't let them die I want them to be part of my future army."

Khufra used his berserker skill and jumped in front of the lizardmen, destroying their formation with just a mere momentum.

“All of you come back, That bear was not a normal one! His strength was comparable to a C-rank beast or even higher than that, I will use my innergy absorption just like back then, don't move and gather your innergy in one place.”

“As you wish.”

"What is he planning now?"

"Khufra you go break that formation I will attack that chief myself. "

"Okay, master!"

The Lizardmen Chief absorbed the innergy of his subordinate and is planning to use a wide skill attack called, >One Way Spear<

The atmosphere changed, and even the air emitted such pressure.

"No, his target was me! "

Khufra rushed toward Rey's location and tried to receive the incoming attack by gathering his innergy to his claw.

Rey used his berserker skill and grabbed the spear with all his might to reduce its momentum.

Five minutes passed and the innergy of the spear weakened.

The surrounding has been pulverized because of the intense clashing of different innergy.

Rey showed an expression of astonishment after seeing that their strength was comparable to his or even higher.

"Hm.. If not for the help of Khufra, I might be killed in no time." Muttered Rey.

“King, we don't have any innergy left and now, we don't stand a chance against this ogre. You should flee now and we will buy you some time!”

"Eh? How could he flee if the domination icon has already appeared?”

And that's how Rey acquired his first army.
