Chapter 84

On that fateful Saturday morning, the morning that was going to decide Richard's and Victoria's finally state as it concerned their martial life, Victoria sat on the sofa in the living room, chatting with a friend on her phone and gradally sipping freshly squeezed orange juice.

Meanwhile, Richard went about the daily business in the house. His hands, his feet and every part of his body ached bad but he just couldn't stop.

Then, the doorbell rang twice and Victoria Rose from the sofa to scream Richard's name.

"Richard..." She yelled at the top of her voice.

Immediately Richard heard her name, she came running up to her like a little child to his wicked step aunty.

When he got to her, his racing face was covered with sweat and he could hardly breathe. "You called me," he said in between trying hard to catch his breath.

"I know I called you dummy," Victoria thundered. "Didn't you hear that someone rang the doorbell?" She growled at him.
