Dante scanned the bustling hall of the Hunter Association, his sharp gaze sweeping over the groups of hunters discussing upcoming missions. He needed a team—one that would take him seriously, despite his masked identity.

His attention was drawn to a group of six standing near a mission board. They looked experienced, their armor and weapons well-maintained, their demeanor confident. More importantly, their conversation hinted that they were one member short.

He approached.

A tall man with short, crimson hair and piercing green eyes noticed him first. He exuded authority, his A-rank aura undeniable. “You looking for a team, or just standing there to waste my time?” he asked, arms crossed.

“I heard you need a seventh,” Dante replied coolly, his voice even through his mask. “I’m interested.”

The leader studied him, then glanced at the others. “What’s your rank?”

“A-rank,” Dante lied smoothly.

“Another A-rank? Good.” The leader smirked. “Name’s Cedric. I’m an A-rank fire elemental. This i

Her words weren’t meant to echo, but they did—and gasps followed. It was known that someone who mastered the four elements could branch into other abilities. • Dante Salvador

“What have you done?!” Dante’s voice thundered through the sky, drawing the attention of both humans and demons alike. All eyes turned upward to see him hovering midair, radiating fury.“I told you, your worst mistake was attacking our village,” one of Adam’s sisters sneered from within a large cage, already captured along with other villagers. The demons hadn’t come to massacre; they came to kidnap, which was why most of the villagers were still alive, caged like animals. Only a few had been unlucky enough to die in the struggle.“Will this be a problem?” one of the demons asked their leader, nodding toward Dante.“A problem?” the leader scoffed. “When have humans ever been a problem?
