The choice not to love

Kate knew she was going to drive Nicholas on a rampage. But Kate doesn't have much of a choice. Zevanya and her mother-in-law just dragged her away without even being able to tell Nicholas. Kate was grateful she still had the chance to email Mateo telling him what to do for Nicholas while Kate was away on vacation.

Now, Kate has the opportunity to contact her husband. "Honey, I thought you had forgotten about me."

Kate wrinkled her nose. "I apologize. Was my behavior really bad?”

"Actually no. But I want to drag Zevanya and mommy to the police station because of the kidnapping case." he grunted.

Kate suppressed a smile. “Did you know that your father will charge me with the same charges? Your father accused me of kidnapping his wife.”

"Oh, damn it!"

"Hey, don't swear at my father-in-law." Kate rolled her eyes.

“Tell me your location will catch up to you soon.”

Kate pursed her lips. "No. I don't want to disturb your work. I know you're busy. You should monitor the factory in Neist."
