Chapter 1
MOM, IS THAT YOU?
"Give me your necklace, you swine!" Ivan's eyes fixed on the necklace around Christian's neck, "My girlfriend is obsessed with finding one like that and I hate to disappoint her, so just give it to me!"
Instinctively, Christian's fingers ran to the smooth edges of the silver necklace, a delicate piece with swirling patterns showed its uniqueness. A few years ago, his mother suddenly disappeared, leaving Christian with only a necklace and a note, "It will always protect you, Chris!" After investigation, the police announced that his mother was dead. Christian tightened his grip on the necklace protectively. "Of course," he thought bitterly. "Everything that is important to me will always be important to Ivan, so that he can steal it from me." But he kept his voice calm. "I can't give this to you, Ivan, it's something my mother left me, so I can't let it go." "Do you think someone like you can say no to me?" Ivan crossed his arms with a sneer, Christian knows very well about his position in this house. Around 18 years ago, his mother lost her memory and forgot who she was, when she wandering on the street, she met Morris, Christian's father. He was attracted by his mother's beauty and married her. However, after the death of his mother he became an orphan, although he has a father, still he is no less than an orphan within his house, since his so-called father is so busy with his new wife and their son Ivan. Only after his mother's death did his father's affair come to light, revealing to everyone that Mr. Morris Adams has had a secret wife and an illegitimate son for so long. For Christian, life in his own home became a hell, but he accepted his fate, "I know I can't say no, but this belongs to my mom, so I can't give up! "You think I care about your dead mom's junk if not because of my girlfriend being interested in it?" He scoffed, pressing his finger on the necklace, "I'm asking you one last time Chris, are you going to give it to me or not?" "No," Christian shook his head firmly, holding on to the necklace. Ivan was angry, he punched Christian in the face and tried to grab the necklace from Chris's neck. Christian was nearly strangled, still he tried to fight against Ivan, but he was too weak to resist his fat and strong brother. However, suddenly, an accident happened, Ivan slipped and fell down the stairs. Christian's eyes widened in shock as he watched Ivan fall down from the stairs. Ivan was very angry, he wanted to stand up and teach Christian a lesson. However, Morris' voice came from the other side. "Ivan, what happened?" Ivan suddenly showed an evil smile, and he had a better idea than making a scene. He closed his eyes and pretended to faint! "Here we go again!" Christian smiled bitterly. This was Ivan's favorite way. He would beat himself up first and then tell his father, Morris, that Christian was bullying him. In this way, Morris will punish Christian again. He knew his father would not believe anything he said, but he still walked to the end of the stairs, where Ivan was lying, pretending to faint. "Ivan!" Morris's voice echoed in the hallway, and Christian felt the ground under him stumble, as his father and Teresa, Ivan’s mother, appeared at the spot. Morris’s face was full of anger noticing Ivan laying on the floor unconscious, he immediately thought Christian is the culprit, while Teresa’s hand flew to her mouth in exaggerated shock, "oh my God! Ivan, my baby!" "What did you do to him?" Morris roared, his voice literally passed a shiver down Christian's spine, "you bastard what the hell you've done to my precious son?" Christian looked at Morris stubbornly. He knew Morris wouldn't believe him, but he still defended himself. "Ivan didn't faint at all! He fell down trying to grab my necklace, and I didn't push him! He..." "Don’t lie to me! You disgusting rouge!" Morris’s face twisted in disgust, as he slapped Christian hard across the face, sending a sharp sting through his cheek. Christian stepped back, as the harsh slap made his vision blurred and the corner of his lips started bleeding. "Morris, what do we do?" Teresa cried, holding her son's unconscious body and cried, "My poor Ivan, your son is trying to kill him out of jealousy, I and my son don't have any respect or safety in this damn house!” Christian touched his beaten face, expressionless. He had gotten used to it in the past few years. Now, he was completely disappointed with his father. No matter how he explained, he would not believe it. He only had Ivan in his eyes. Christian looked at Morris calmly and said, "Ivan is so strong compared to me, I'm weak and thin, what can I even do to him with this weak body of mine?" Morris slapped him once again, "shut up you rascal! I shouldn't have let you stay in this house after her death, you're a jinx, how dare you harm my son?" Christian stood silently, Teressa looked at him with venomous glare, "you should've died along with your mother, because of you my son is in this condition! If anything happens to my son, I'll kill you!" Morris turned to Christian, with a cold gaze, "You’re a disgrace to this house, I'm taking Ivan to the hospital, you’ll stay in the attic until I get back, you’d better think about what you’ve done and repent for your wrongdoings." "I didn't do anything, he fell down himself, why can't you understand this?" Christian tried to protest, but his father was unmoved, and just worried about Ivan, "butler, ask the driver to prepare the car immediately." Christian made one final attempt to say the truth, "father, I didn't do anything!" "Enough!" Morris shouted and grabbed Christian's arm roughly, dragged him up the stairs and through the narrow corridor to the attic. He pushed Christian inside without a second glance, slammed the door shut and locked it, Christian wanted to bang the door to shout that he is innocent as he was about to place his hand on the door, his father's words paused him, "until we are back, you're not allowed to eat or drink, unless we starve you, you'll never know your mistake." Christian heard the sound of his father's footsteps disappearing slowly, and filled with extreme silence. He collapsed on the floor leaning to the door, with a throbbing cheek and heart, as he showed a bitter smile. He knew no one would believe him, no one ever did. The hatred his father had for him felt more painful than the sting on his cheek, and the cold isolation of the attic seemed to press down on him from every direction. Time passed by minute by minute, and Christian sat in the dark attic with a blank expression. He didn't know what he had done wrong, but his mother told him to be an honest man. If he was not wrong, why should he admit it? "They’ll be back soon." he told to himself, clutching the necklace so tightly it cut into his palm. "They’ll see that Ivan is fine, and this will all be over." He still held a glimmer of hope that someone could prove his innocence and let his father know that he was not wrong. However, they left for three days! Christian just sat there stubbornly, without asking for help or shouting. Gradually, hunger and thirst made him unable to hold on any longer, and his consciousness gradually blurred, but he never thought of bowing his head and admitting the things he had never done. "I'm not wrong, I didn't push Ivan..." Even before he was about to lose consciousness, Christian still repeated stubbornly. He gradually had hallucinations in front of his eyes, as if a figure opened the door and reached out to him. "Is it... Mom? I'm not wrong, Mom... I didn't..." However, an angry voice interrupted Christian's words. "You animal! Haven't you realized your mistakes after all these days?"Expand

The Lost Heir Of Sargent A CONDUIT?
"I'm talking to you only," Christian raised his voice slightly as he demanded Georgia once again, "If you’re not Luna… then how do you know everything that happened between me and her? How did you act just like Luna as if you know everything in between us?" Christian’s voice sounded loud though the pain beneath it felt infinitely heavier than anger ever could. His gaze remained fixed on Georgia’s tear-streaked face, searching not merely for answers now, but for understanding strong enough to carry the unbearable truth that had already shattered so much within him.Because betrayal alone would have been easier... Betrayal could have been hated. But this... This was grief. This was the slow, devastating realization that the person he had mourned as abandonment had, in truth, loved him until her very last breath.Georgia’s lips parted slightly, though no immediate answer came, because the weight of that question was not simple, nor was it something she alone could fully explain. Before

The Lost Heir Of Sargent SHE SAVED ME
"What exactly happened to Luna?" Christian’s jaw tightened sharply as he demanded to know the truth about what happened to his best friend. The question came quieter, but far heavier.Georgia’s composure finally cracked. "She saved me...." Those three words shattered what little distance remained.Christian froze completely.Georgia’s tears did not fall, but the grief in her voice made them unnecessary."She pushed me out before the flames fully collapsed the structure," she said, her voice trembling now despite every effort to steady it. "She chose me… even when she was the one dying.... As an elder sister, even at that last moment, she did everything to protect me." The chamber itself seemed to grow colder... Christian’s fingers curled faintly at his sides. No one spoke.... No one dared either.Georgia swallowed painfully before forcing herself to continue."When I reached her…" she whispered, "she was already fading." Her voice broke. "But even then… even then…" For the first t

The Lost Heir Of Sargent DID YOU REALLY DECEIVE ME?
"I told you she isn't an ordinary person," Ezra crossed his arms evaluating Luna who was called as Georgia, "you said you trust her, so I didn't try to mention it again... This girl and her vibes were never normal." "So, from the beginning…? This is nothing but a deception..." Christian’s voice remained calm, yet the quiet sharpness beneath it altered the sacred chamber’s atmosphere far more effectively than anger ever could, as his unwavering gaze stayed locked onto Luna’s familiar face, though for the first time, familiarity itself felt like an illusion he could no longer trust. The elegant silver-blue robes she wore, marked clearly with the spiritual insignia of House Eldewyn, only deepened the truth before him, because this was no misunderstanding, nor was it some coincidence cruelly arranged by fate. This was deception, carefully maintained, and painfully deliberate.... And somehow, that reality unsettled him more than open betrayal ever could. For several long moments, silence

The Lost Heir Of Sargent GEORGIA?
"So… you’re finally ready to hear about the debt your mother left behind."The elder’s voice was calm, measured, and impossibly steady as it echoed softly through the grand inner chamber of House Eldewyn.A place far older than Christian had initially imagined, where towering shelves filled with ancient manuscripts stretched toward vaulted ceilings carved with spiritual sigils, while silver flames burned silently within suspended lanterns, casting an ethereal glow across polished stone floors engraved with blood-binding symbols."Woahhh!" Unintentionally the words came out of Christian, seeing Christian's expression, the elder said, "looking at you, it's reminding me when Mary was young, she is such a carefree girl."Christian smiled at him quietly, Ezra was calmly floating beside Christian. "Looks like he knew very well about Mary."Christian was calm but said nothing, he stood at the center of it all, his posture composed despite the storm quietly building within him, his gaze unwav
