Hearing this, Bruce's expression brightened, and he quickly explained the situation.

Hearing this, Logan frowned slightly, shaking his head. It seemed like whatever the other party wanted, they couldn't wait anymore.

"Alright, first, let's start with your daughter and grandson," Logan stated, pushing open the doors of the villa.

Though the curse was more important, treating Scarlett and Edwin would be far better.

Both of them had been injured, and if he wanted to deal with the curse first, it would take some time.

Though he would be able to treat them afterwards even if their best treatment window had passed, what if they died before then?

The curse's aim was to kill, so it was better to treat them first.

"Treat Scarlett and Edwin?" Bruce froze, hearing Logan's words.

"Yes, of course," Logan nodded, glancing at the old man.

"Or don't you want them treated?" He raised his brows.

"I..."

"Here..." Logan couldn't be bothered to argue with the old man and threw him his ID.

Seeing it, Bruce's eyes widened. At first, he wanted to say something, but he swallowed everything and looked at Logan.

"Call your guards over; there's a lot to do." Logan ignored Bruce, who was staring at him, a frown appearing on his face.

Without hesitation, Bruce called the guards, who were still standing outside the gate.

Logan looked at the men and then at Bruce. From what he was seeing, even he would be in danger if he was not careful.

But then he didn't have the time to draw talismans for everyone. That would take too much time.

Thinking about it for a minute, he turned to Bruce and then pointed a finger at the old man's forehead.

Using his Qi, he began to draw. Soon he was done.

The moment Logan retracted his hands, Bruce felt a warm energy slip into his body.

Though he didn't know what changes had happened, he could tell it was significant.

Without waiting, Logan walked up to two other guards and repeated the same actions.

"Now, the rest of you should step outside," Logan instructed.

"But..."

"If you want to die, then you can stay." Logan shrugged and turned to Bruce.

But before he could say anything, the men had already backed away, including the two he had drawn a talisman on their foreheads.

"No, you two stay back," Logan spoke, pointing at the two bodyguards.

Hearing this, the two froze, swallowing their saliva. Did Logan want revenge on them?

After all, it was the two who had covered his mouth and forced him into the car.

They were not fools and knew what was happening to the Palmer family was not normal.

Logan couldn't care less about the two guards and turned back to Bruce once again.

"What I just did was draw some talismans on your body to avoid the curse for the time being," Logan explained, his voice loud enough for the guards to hear.

Hearing this, the two couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief. Seemed like they were wrong about him.

"This way, pending the time I'll be removing the curse, you'll be able to walk freely around the house unaffected by anything," Logan continued with his explanation.

Bruce and the men swallowed, nodding slightly. They could tell Logan was not lying. After all, the energy they felt in their bodies was real.

The chilly air biting against their skin before was all gone.

"So let's get started," Logan's voice came again, pulling them out of their thoughts.

"I need a list of materials; go get me some pen and paper." Logan turned to the guards, who nodded and hurried off.

"Old man, let's go check on your grandson and daughter," Logan added, turning back to Bruce, who smiled and led the way.

Just as they got into the villa, the guards came back with the pen and paper.

Taking it, Logan thought for a moment and began to scribble on it. He needed quite a lot of things.

The curse was escalating, so he needed to act fast. He had already used some of his Qi to give protection to Bruce and the guards, so he needed way more stuff.

"Here, go get them," Logan handed back the paper to them.

Nodding, they rushed out of the villa, knowing the time could not be wasted.

"Can we..."

"Not yet," Logan refused. Going upstairs to see Scarlett and Edwin at the moment was a death sentence.

The curse somehow had concentrated and was acting even faster. Though he knew it was most probably because of his energy fluctuation, he still didn't dare take the risk.

"Also, you can't go up either," Logan said and began to walk around the living room, his brows narrowed as he picked up random items while occasionally asking Bruce a few questions.

An hour later, the guards returned holding what Logan had asked them to bring.

"Take the herbs and crush them into a paste; give it to the old man and let him apply it all over his daughter's body," Logan instructed, pointing at one of the guards.

"You, pack those junks and come with me," he said, picking up the other materials they had bought.

"As for your grandson, boil the other herb and make it into a cold bath, then soak him in it; he should wake up after a while."

"Also, the herb paste would be a bit painful to your daughter; let her endure it for about ten minutes, then she can wash it off," Logan added as he walked away.

Bruce looked at the guard, feeling a bit conflicted. Would that work? Well, he didn't know.

At the moment, all he could do was trust Logan; he had no other choice.

"Go get it done," Bruce instructed, his mind sealing up.

From what he had seen, his family was already destined to death; there was no need to hesitate.

The guard nodded and headed to prepare the items. He could only do it. Everyone else was outside the villa.
