Logan and the other guard, on the other hand, walked towards the back of the villa.

The guard shook, feeling his soul tremble as the chilly wind bit his skin. But all of a sudden, a warm energy radiated within, canceling it out.

Apart from that, the lights in the surroundings flickered constantly, and strange sounds came from all directions.

This alone was enough to terrify someone. But somehow, not only did he not feel scared, he felt a bit confident, though he knew deep down he could hear his instincts telling him to run.

"Alright, it's okay here," Logan suddenly spoke, his voice pulling the guard out of his thoughts.

"Drop those junks here," Logan continued, pointing at a spot.

The guard froze, his eyes nearly bulging out of his sockets.

What the heck was he calling junks? Every single thing he was holding cost at least a million.

Most of them were rare antiques the old man had collected himself. The others were for the young lady, as she loved collecting small items like figurines and the rest.

Staring at the items, which collectively cost over ten million, the guard couldn't help but feel a surge of greed in his heart.

"You want to keep those?" Logan suddenly asked, turning to the guard who seemed to be thinking about something.

"Yes," the guard blurted out almost immediately.

"Well, you can keep them," Logan shrugged.

Hearing this, the guard's eyes widened, not believing his ears.

"Really?"

"Well, that's if you're not scared of death, then sure."

Hearing Logan's words, the guard froze and instantly dropped the item.

What the heck was Logan saying?

"You see, the causes of the strange happenings in the family are largely related to them," Logan chuckled, turning back to the junks now on the floor.

Though the whole villa had already been shrouded in the dark energy, they had one mainly from those items.

This was why the curse had advanced faster than Logan had thought.

If it was only that bracelet, it would have taken a month and also, just removing and burning the bracelet properly would have sufficed.

But it seemed like he was wrong. Either they had all gathered all these things by sheer coincidence and the person who gave Bruce the bracelet was just taking advantage of the already available dark energy to act.

Or it was the person who had orchestrated everything right from the start.

If that was the case, then how in the world were they able to get their hands on so many items with evil energy?

Again, there were two choices.

Logan couldn't help but feel his body go cold as he thought about that. It seemed like he had to be careful.

He couldn't alert the other party.

"You should leave first," Logan spoke once again, turning to the guard.

Nodding, the guard turned around and left to help Bruce and the other guard.

Seeing the guard's figure disappearing back into the house, Logan's composure instantly shattered.

If he was to instantly burn the items and also dispel the curse the way he wanted to, the other party would notice.

He didn't know who the other party was. Neither did he know how strong they were.

He himself had not fully stepped onto the path of cultivation. If he rashly made enemies, that wouldn't be too good; after all, he didn't know what the other party wanted.

Also, he couldn't just back down now. Apart from the fact that Bruce was counting on him, his conscience was not going to let him.

So what would he do?

If he couldn't think of anything, he would have to end up breaking it the way he wanted.

But at the same time, he would need to think of a way to quickly step into the path of cultivation.

Though he didn't know how strong the other party was, that would give him a bit of confidence.

Bruce, on the other hand, at this moment was staring at his daughter, his eyes nearly popping out of their sockets.

After helping her wash off the herbs just as Logan had instructed, all the burns had disappeared.

His grandson was also stirring awake.

The guards were there, making sure he was fine. With the protection from Logan, they would be able to keep things at bay.

Bruce sighed and shook his head. It seemed like the young man he had looked down on was far more than what met the eye.

Not only did he know how to exorcise curses, he was also a medical doctor. At the moment, he was a bit speechless.

Well, if he knew that currently Logan was stressing on what to do so as not to alert the other party, who knows what he would have done?

At the moment, Logan had been thinking for a while, searching his memories, but no solution came to mind.

Either it was too hard and he would be unable to do it, or it was ineffective.

Or there were some absurd restrictions he was sure that the Palmer family were bound to break.

As a result, he was at a loss on what to do.

Thinking more about the situation, he sighed and stood up.

"Let's just do what I had in mind," Logan accepted his fate, shaking his head.

Why would he be scared of someone he didn't know?

Besides, even if they attacked him, he still had a thousand ways to make sure they lost quite a bit of flesh.

If he couldn't kill them, then he was going to take out a huge chunk of flesh from them.

With that, determination flashed in his eyes and he walked towards the items he had asked the guards to buy, preparing to organize what he needed, when all of a sudden, he froze.

If he was not wrong, there was a technique he had not checked carefully just now.

Without thinking, Logan sat down and checked his memories.

Soon enough, his worried expression eased up and a smile slowly formed on his face.

He had found what he was looking for at last.

Wearing a set of new clothes and grabbing the card on the table, he dashed out of the house.Yesterday, after taking the card from Bruce, he had gone to check the balance and nearly forgot how to breathe.Bruce had given him thirty million. • Heaven and Earth Devouring Scripture

Logan's eyes shot open, and he looked around with a smile on his face. This place was just perfect. He would begin now.It turned out the solution he had found just now was a cultivation technique called Heaven and Earth Devouring Scripture. It allowed the user to absorb any kind of energy and then convert it into pure Qi for their own use.The villa and the items all had a huge density of evil energy and curses around. All he needed to do was abandon the previous technique he was using and start using this one. This one was even way stronger than the one he had chosen. According to his memories, it was the top one and a forbidden technique.Because of its nature, even if trash like him got their hands on it, they would become an immortal in no time. Now, what if a genius with a perfect physique got their hands on it?Another bizarre thing was that it worked well with any kind of physique, regardless.According to what he remembered, it was created by a genius who was annoyed by the s

  • Talisman

Hearing this, Bruce's expression brightened, and he quickly explained the situation.Hearing this, Logan frowned slightly, shaking his head. It seemed like whatever the other party wanted, they couldn't wait anymore."Alright, first, let's start with your daughter and grandson," Logan stated, pushing open the doors of the villa.Though the curse was more important, treating Scarlett and Edwin would be far better. Both of them had been injured, and if he wanted to deal with the curse first, it would take some time.Though he would be able to treat them afterwards even if their best treatment window had passed, what if they died before then? The curse's aim was to kill, so it was better to treat them first."Treat Scarlett and Edwin?" Bruce froze, hearing Logan's words."Yes, of course," Logan nodded, glancing at the old man."Or don't you want them treated?" He raised his brows."I...""Here..." Logan couldn't be bothered to argue with the old man and threw him his ID.Seeing it, Bruce

  • Remove That Bracelet

“Huh!”The crowd froze hearing this as they couldn't believe their ears.Fifteen million for saving a boy? If they knew this, they would have jumped into the river earlier without any hesitation. After all, in the entire Roseville, only a few families would be able to pull out such a large amount of money.“I'm sorry, old man, but that goes against my principles,” Logan's voice came, pulling everyone out of their thoughts. But at the moment, Logan’s voice sounded like a clap of lightning to their ears, and they couldn't help but glance at him rather incredulously. What the heck was the young man thinking? Rejecting fifteen million? If it were not for the guards present, they wanted to rush forward and beat the heck out of him.The old man also frowned slightly, observing Logan, who had a gentle smile.“I...”“If you're thinking about adding to the amount, then you should just discard it. No matter how much you offer, I won't be accepting it,” Logan shook his head, interrupting the old
