Raphael had to inquire as everything was unfolding faster than he could ever imagine.

Less than an hour ago he was shamelessly dumped by his ex-wife and potentially replaced by his step-brother.

Here he's in front of his grandfather he hadn't seen for about seven years offering a mind-blowing sum of cash with an exalted position in his champagne production company. Like for real?

“Yes, my boy. First thing tomorrow morning. I'll have you announce to the rest of the management and staff your new position.”

“I've dreamt and hoped for this day when I'd make you this offer. Don't say no my boy,” Jacques Claude Gathuier politely requested as he embraced his grandson who was still engrossed in a shocking state.

Raphael's demeanor is a pictorial representation of; “Excitement and disbelief” from the little his late mother told him; he knew his grandfather was a man of his word. He wasn't bluffing either with his offer.

“My boy. Our Winery business has been growing. We're amongst the top 10 finest winery industries in France.”

“I'm certain you should have seen our product somewhere before?” His father calmly inquired whilst Raphael nodded his head in affirmation.

Raphael had had a special will for quality wine but had no professional experience in managing a winery industry except having a honed taste of good wines.

Raphael was grounded in deep thoughts on how to manage his father's winery business. He understood the weight of responsibility resting on his shoulders and he mustn't disappoint either.

He stood up and ambled back and forth to the bedroom with his hands on his waist. He needed to be strategic on how to effectively learn about the intricacies involved in the winery business.

The Senior butler and his grandfather gazed at him as silence engulfed the atmosphere.

“Grandfather…” he said as he went back to hold Jacques Claude Gathuier's hands firmly. “I'll be the managing director of your winery industries," he said and his grandfather's unleashed brightened chuckle.

“But…" he added and paused whilst his grandfather's face switched from beam to uncertainty. “I'll penetrate your winery company in disguise as an Intern personnel not as a managing director,” he distinctively responded.

“Grandfather. Please I need to study sensitive things about the winery business as an underdog to uncover the real stuff from the camouflagers.”

“I need to understand the intricacies in the making of champagne without the staff knowing my true identity.”

Raphael inhaled deeply and continued. “The staff's real intentions and worth ethics would truly be divulged when they assume I'm just under Internship,” he explicitly expressed after thinking deeply about how to go about his new phase of life.

His grandfather for the first time after the heart attack stood to his feet and passionately hugged his grandson. “I knew it! I just knew you were the rightful heir.”

“Your strategy is perfect. I never assumed it could be done as such. Wow!” He blurted out in amazement.

“I believe in you dearest grandson. I'm glad you finally accepted this offer,” his grandfather firmly said while patting Raphael's shoulder.

Jacques Claude Gathuier knew his grandson's plan was the best way to penetrate to fish the bag eggs and understand the business better.

In less than 20 minutes Raphael had shown him hints of his outstanding abilities; firstly by forgiving him and secondly with the applauding idea to disguise himself as an intern personnel.

But there was a slight challenge; Raphael being a college dropout had no college certificate to suggest he was under Internship.

The senior butler figured out a way by issuing his younger brother's school documents for Raphael to use instead.

But he would need to bear a different name entirely; “Charles Chevalier”

His grandfather and Raphael unanimously consented as they didn't want the Lion Winery Industries staff suspecting who he was till the time was ripe.

**********************

The next morning before 8 am, Raphael was already in front of The Lion Winery Industries dressed considerably fine as a student should look.

‘Raphael you've got to do this. You can do this,’ he repeatedly said to himself as he knocked at the HR office door after being directed by the two uncultured receptionists on the basement floor.

“Come in…” a female voice uttered from the other end.

Raphael squeezed the door open and found himself in. “GoodMorning. My name is Charles Chevalier. I'm a student of Resonance Paris Institute and I'm here for an internship,” Raphael articulately expressed, he might be a dropout but his level of eloquence is second to none.

Mrs. Elise; the HR manager rolled her eyes at him and clicked her tongue in contempt. “Sit down or do you wish to keep standing? I don't know what's wrong with youth these days," she complained and tutted.

Raphael smiled in his heart, he knew Mrs. Elise wouldn't dare address him in such a tone if she knew his real identity.

But because she assumed he was under Internship, her real personality was oozing. That was exactly why Raphael needed to keep his identity intact for a while and painstakingly fish the bad eggs out.

There again a knock thudded on the HR Manager's office. Rapahel's eyes uncontrollably gaze towards the door.

“Well…come on in.” Mrs. Elise impassively instructed.
