"No, it's impossible. Grandpa always said it was just the flu. How could it be poisoning?" Audrey's face went pale as she stared at Justin in disbelief. She wondered who could possibly want to harm her grandfather, but Justin offered no further details.

"Justin, you must have a way to save him, don't you?" Audrey clung to Justin's arm desperately. Her parents had died in an accident when she was a child, and her grandpa meant the world to her. She couldn't bear losing him too.

At that moment, Cillian stirred and opened his eyes to see everyone gathered around him. "Cough, cough... What happened to me?"

"Grandpa, you're awake! Thank goodness!" Audrey said, tears of relief streaming down her face.

Seeing her tears, Cillian was heartbroken. "Don't cry, Audrey. I'm still here."

"Grandpa, how long are you going to hide the truth from me? Justin just saved you and told me about the poisoning. You only have three months left!" Audrey's tears flowed again, her eyes full of fear.

Cillian was taken aback, turning to Justin with a grave look. "Mr. Miller, is it true? Do I really only have three months?"

Justin felt a bit awkward at the formal address and said, "Just call me Justin. You've been poisoned for some time, and it's affected your heart and lungs. So, yes, you only have three months left."

"Is there any way to treat it? I'll pay whatever it takes!" Cillian's desperation was palpable. He was ready to spend whatever was needed to buy time.

Justin nodded slightly. "There is a way. But you'll need to track down some rare herbs."

"Alright. Audrey, get some paper and a pen!" Cillian urged.

Audrey wiped her tears quickly, found some paper and a pen, and returned.

Justin jotted down a list of herbs and handed it to them. "These herbs are hard to find, but they're essential. Also, I'd appreciate it if you could help me find these additional herbs. My father suffered broken legs, and my mother was blinded. I need these herbs to help restore their health."

"Thank you, Justin!" Audrey took the list, now looking at Justin with newfound respect. At this moment, she found him quite reliable.

Then, Cillian noticed Henry still kneeling by the bed and asked, "What's going on? Why is Henry kneeling?"

Justin finally thought of Henry and said casually, "You can stand up now. I won't be taking you as my student, but if you can focus on healing and do good without seeking fame, I might offer you some guidance."

Overjoyed, Henry promised, "Thank you, Mr. Miller! I will focus on healing others and ignore fame and fortune."

Justin gave a slight nod, acknowledging his promise. Having seen the prescription, Cillian turned to Justin with gratitude. "Mr. Miller, you saved my life. If you ever need the Nolan family's help, you have our full support."

Cillian then took a villa access card and a check from his wallet and offered them to Justin. "I have an empty villa and a check for ten million dollars. Please, Mr. Miller, take them as a token of gratitude."

Justin looked at the card and check and declined politely, "Mr. Nolan, I didn't do this for money. Keep the villa and the check yourself."

Cillian insisted, "Please, this is for your parents. Their conditions might improve if they live in a better place, and the money could help with any necessities or treatments they might need."

Justin paused, his expression thoughtful. He realized Cillian had a valid point. For him, where he lived didn't matter much, but for his parents, a better environment and nutrition could speed up their recovery. Their current home was in poor condition, even lacking basic furniture and appliances, making it barely livable.

After considering this, Justin accepted the key card and check. "I've been out too long. It's time for me to head back," he said as he prepared to leave.

"Audrey, drive Mr. Miller home," Cillian instructed. Justin glanced at Audrey and noticed lingering darkness in her aura, which suggested it might cause trouble if she drove him home.

Before he could refuse, Audrey had already pulled him into a Porsche. With a swift acceleration, they raced onto the highway. But just as they passed a church, a loud bang echoed. The engine of the newly bought Porsche had blown, and the car skidded over thirty feet forward, white smoke billowing from the hood.

Startled, Audrey looked ahead at the smoke and smelled the burnt odor. "The engine blew! We're in trouble!" she exclaimed, panic creeping into her voice.

"What a bad day. First a car accident, now a blown engine... Let's call for roadside assistance," Justin sighed, expecting something like this might happen. At least the dark aura around Audrey was finally gone.

Audrey stepped out and walked to the roadside to make a call for help.

Beep, beep beep...

While she was on the phone, dozens of Mercedes wedding cars exited the church, lining up behind the stalled Porsche and honking impatiently.

Daniel and Emma sat in the second Rolls-Royce.

"Who leaves their car in the middle of the road? Don't they know it's causing a jam?" Emma grumbled.

"What an idiot!" Ava muttered angrily as she stepped out, ready to confront the situation. But she stopped when she saw Audrey on the phone at the roadside, and a wicked idea crossed her mind. 'Her car must have broken down, and she's calling for help. Could Justin be in the car?'

This thought brought a twisted sense of excitement to her as she rushed back to their vehicle and suggested mischievously, "Mr. Anderson, Audrey's car broke down, and Justin's probably inside. Why not take advantage of this and have the lead car run him over?"

"Justin's in there? Really?" Emma's eyes lit up with excitement.

"Yes, Justin is definitely in the car. Just look; Audrey's on the roadside with her car smoking. The engine must have blown, and she's calling for help." Ava pointed at Audrey's car, a gleam of malice in her tone.

Emma leaned over to see for herself, spotting Audrey on the phone just as Ava described. With a menacing grin, she said, "That's her, all right. We can get our revenge now. Let's have the front car rush over and kill Justin!"

When Daniel heard this, he felt more nervous than if a knife were held to his throat. The reporters were equally stunned, unsure where to point their cameras. On one side stood the heiress of Nolan Corporation, and on the other, the heir of the Anderson family. The question was so pointed—what were they supposed to do?Since Audrey had directed the question at Daniel, after a moment's hesitation, all the cameras turned toward him.A flicker of panic crossed Daniel's face, but he quickly regained his composure. "As a client," he explained, "I have the right to protect my own interests!""Your courage in standing up for your interests is indeed admirable," Audrey responded, her words precise and cutting. "But if you try to slander and defame us, Nolan Corporation won't stand for it!""What do you mean by slander and defamation? Could you elaborate?""Yes, is what Mr. Anderson said false?""Ms. Nolan, please explain. I'm sure the viewers at home

"Yes!" the butcher replied.Connor approached with his entourage, radiating authority.Justin narrowed his eyes slightly as they arrived.Daniel's face turned pale at the sight of them. He gulped, not recognizing Connor, but the man's aura alone was enough to intimidate him. He was flanked by Alexander and a burly man, and everyone could tell this was someone important. The fact that someone with Alexander's connections was merely standing beside him spoke volumes about the old man's status. Before Daniel could say a word, the butcher stepped forward and slapped him twice, hard, drawing blood from his mouth.Seeing her husband being hit, Emma shrieked, "How dare you! Do you know who he is? Apologize! Do you want to be blacklisted in Riverwood?""Shut up! Do you know you're standing before Mr. Grayson?" the butcher's thunderous voice made Daniel flinch. "Yes, Mr. Miller, shall I send someone to pick you up?" Connor's voice was calm."No, I'll just take a cab!" Justin replied. He was surprised—just moments after Daniel had mentioned dinner at the Velvet Quarters, Connor had invited him over. Could it be the same dinner? That seemed impossible. Connor had Alexander throw them out of the Thanksgiving dinner. There was no way he'd invite them now; they weren't important enough. After telling his parents he was heading out, Justin took a cab to the Velvet Quarters.Meanwhile, Emma sat in the passenger seat, looking curiously at Daniel, whose lips were curled into a smug smile. "Honey, why don't we just make him beg here? Why go to the Velvet Quarters?""Darling, you don't understand. Kane wants to see him grovel too. And I want to humiliate him properly. I can't miss this opportunity..." Daniel's voice dripped with satisfaction. He was already savoring the image of Justin begging him. Suddenly, he nearly hit th

"Laura, how do you have time to come over?" Justin asked, his face full of curiosity."I have the day off, so I came by. This afternoon, I'm learning how to make meatballs with your mother. I remember you like meatballs, so I'll make some for you right away. Go wash your hands and wait in the living room for a bit," Laura said, tucking a stray strand of hair behind her ear, looking slightly shy.Justin didn't say much and walked toward the living room.As soon as he sat down, his mother anxiously grabbed his arm and whispered, "Justin, look at how thoughtful Laura is.
