"Didn't you just say you've seen this disease lots of times before and that it's easy to treat? If anything happens to my grandfather, I'll kill you!" Audrey grabbed Henry's collar, her eyes blazing with anger.

Henry was flustered. He knew all too well that the Nolan family was the most powerful conglomerate in the city, and crossing them meant he would die a horrible death. With no solution in mind, he thought of Justin. 'If that guy had the nerve to challenge me, he might know how to save Mr. Nolan. I should let him try, and if things go wrong, I can shift the blame to him for a medical mishap.'

With this in mind, Henry suggested quickly, "Ms. Nolan, how about asking that young man who just left? Maybe he has a solution!"

Audrey's eyes widened at Henry's words. Noticing his evasive gaze, she realized he was trying to shift the blame. But with no other options, she decided to turn to Justin for help.

Hastily exiting the ward, Audrey found Justin smoking casually in the hallway. She pleaded with him, "Mr. Miller, please help my grandpa!"

"Oh, so now you believe I can save him?" Justin turned with a smirk.

Audrey hesitated for a moment. 'I'm not sure if Justin can really save my grandfather, but since Henry can't help him, I might as well let Justin try. Maybe Grandpa still has a chance of surviving.'

With this thought, Audrey pleaded humbly again, "Please, Mr. Miller, I'll do anything in gratitude if you can help my grandfather!"

Seeing Audrey's worried look and the tears lingering in her eyes, Justin recalled how Cillian had helped him during college. He decided to stop making things difficult for her, put out his cigarette, and headed into the ward.

Inside, Henry was sweating profusely. Upon seeing Justin, he rushed over, his previous arrogance gone. He grasped Justin's hand, saying, "I'm so glad you're here, sir. I was foolish before. Please save Mr. Nolan!"

Justin gave him a cool glance and replied, "Aren't you a cardiopulmonary specialist? Why are you asking for my help now?"

"I was wrong, I admit it. I acted without fully understanding Mr. Nolan's condition. Please lend a hand, sir!" Henry pleaded, willing to swallow his pride for the sake of saving himself.

"Alright, step back and let me do my work." Justin gestured for them to move aside, then rolled up his sleeves and extended his right hand, channeling his energy through the Almighty Technique. Instantly, a soft glow flowed over Cillian's chest. As the energy reached Cillian's heart and lungs, his complexion went back to normal, his eyelashes fluttered, and he started to breathe steadily.

Audrey was amazed by the technique's uniqueness. Without any medication or needles, Justin had cured her grandfather in an instant.

Henry was so shocked that he knelt down, exclaiming, "You must be a miracle doctor! Please, let me be your student!"

Justin pulled back his hand slowly, not exactly clear on what Henry meant. A bit worn out from the energy he used to treat Cillian, Justin didn't give him much attention.

Audrey's eyes widened in surprise as she asked, "Henry, what are you doing?"

"Mr. Miller just used some kind of mystical energy from the East to save Mr. Nolan. I've only seen something like this once before, performed by a mysterious elder at Meriland's top medical school. He used it to heal Mr. President. Only someone extraordinary can use such a miraculous technique. Sir, you must be a miracle doctor. Please, let me be your student!"

Henry's awe stemmed from that earlier experience, and he believed that Justin had learned this technique from the mysterious elder. With the thought, he knelt before Justin and kowtowed to him, which was an Eastern rite of accepting a student..

Regret filled Henry as he recalled how he had underestimated Justin earlier, assuming Justin was no match for him in terms of medical skills. He found out the hard way that Justin was the true medical expert here, while he himself was a piece of shit.

Hearing Henry's explanation, Audrey found herself viewing Justin in a new light. Anyone Henry spoke so highly of must have extraordinary medical skills.

In Audrey's view, although Henry had failed to treat her grandfather this time, his medical expertise was undeniable. He, a well-known cardiopulmonary specialist in Riverwood, had healed many severe cardiopulmonary diseases and boasted a certain reputation and standing. She also blamed herself for her previous prejudice against Justin, which had worsened her grandfather's condition.

Henry reassured her, saying, "Ms. Nolan, don't worry. With Mr. Miller's help, Mr. Nolan will definitely be fine!"

Audrey looked at Justin again, her eyes now reflecting admiration. She approached him respectfully and said, "Justin, thank you for saving my grandfather!"

"Don't relax just yet. Your grandfather's been exposed to a slow-acting poison. What I've done will only suppress it for now. If the poison isn't fully cleared from his system in time, he might only have three months left," Justin stated seriously, giving her a clear picture of Cillian's condition.

Everyone was startled by the sudden bang. Instinctively, they turned toward the doorway of the private room and saw a tall, strikingly handsome man standing there. His features were sharp and commanding, his posture imposing, and just one glance from him sent chills down their spines. It was none other than Justin. Moments ago, they had believed he wouldn't show up at this hour. Yet, as if summoned by their words, he appeared at the door like a ghost, leaving everyone frozen in place."You are not afraid of me, huh?" Justin demanded, his gaze sweeping coldly across the room."Justin..." Sarah gasped, her face instantly paling with fear. Before coming here, she had confirmed with Mandy that no one had been informed. She had been so certain it was impossible for Justin to know where they were. However, Mandy bumped into Justin, mentioned the dinner, and called him in the restroom earlier.Just moments ago, everyone had been smugly accusing Mandy of lying and l

Mandy's crying sound came through the phone, her voice trembling as if she had been bullied.Justin frowned. "Mandy, did someone bully you?" he asked, his tone serious."Justin, help me! Sarah and Carlos... they've locked me up," Mandy said, her voice full of grievance and fear.Justin's face immediately darkened. He hadn't expected that Sarah and Carlos hadn't invited Mandy to dinner to reconcile but were instead planning revenge. This revelation left him furious. These people had previously teamed up with Daniel to go against him, but out of consideration for Mandy's plea, he had let them off once. Yet it seemed that his leniency had only emboldened them. Now they were targeting Mandy. He couldn't let them get away with this."Don't cry. Send me your location, and I'll come over right now," Justin said grimly."I'm in the restroom at Grandview Chalice. They're outside watching me. Ah—"Before Mandy could finish or send her location, a sudde

With a loud slap, a solid handprint with five red fingers appeared on Daniel's face.Everyone was stunned. 'Mr. Longman actually slapped Daniel?' they thought.Daniel held his face, stunned and unable to believe that Owen had struck him. Everything he had done was authorized by Owen, after all.Confused, he stammered, "Mr. Longman, aren't you the one who—"Before he could finish, Owen, afraid his secret might be exposed, slapped him again with another loud smack. Furious, he shouted, "Guards! Get these two out of here!"Immediately, several security guards entered, grabbed Daniel and Emma, and began dragging them toward the door.Daniel and Emma's faces turned pale with fear as they desperately pleaded, "Mr. Longman, please, no! We won't do it again!""You dare cause trouble in my place? That's outright disrespect! If I don't teach you a lesson today, others will think they can walk all over me. Throw them out!" Owen's eyes burned with anger.

Other people thought the same. 'There's no way Justin dare act recklessly in Mr. Longman's venue!'Justin didn't even glance at the group of bodyguards. To him, they weren't worth his attention. He didn't feel like wasting a single look on them.Daniel squinted suspiciously. He wondered if mentioning Owen had intimidated Justin. If that were the case, dealing with Justin would be a piece of cake. Daniel thought smugly, 'Justin, you'll have to do whatever I ask!'Full of arrogance and condescension, Daniel declared, "Justin, lick my shoes, and I'll spare your life!"After saying this, he scanned the crowd as if announcing to everyone that Justin had no choice but to obey. But he was overthinking it. Justin completely ignored him. Daniel was left embarrassed. After all, he was the son of a senator, known by many. If he were treated like this, he couldn't maintain his reputation in their social circle. He had to save face."Justin, don't be so ungrateful. Do as

Daniel and Emma nodded. "Yes!"Justin, overhearing their conversation, frowned slightly. It was the first time he had ever heard of a rule where cutting a cake required someone close to the birthday gril, and it had to be someone of the opposite sex. It was absurd. At the same time, he noticed the fleeting smiles on their faces that quickly disappeared. There was a sense of ulterior motives. 'Daniel and Emma have always been at odds with me. How could they suddenly act so kind and offer me the honor of cutting the cake? They'd rather kill me. There's something fishy going on!' he thought.Stroking his chin with interest, Justin suddenly said, "Sure, I enjoy helping people cut cakes!""Justin, you're aware of this tradition?" Audrey asked, her expression puzzled.Justin didn't believe it for a second but still smiled and replied, "Of course! It brings good luck to you!""So there really is such a tradition?" Audrey asked, still confused."Of course!

"We won't! Please trust us!" Daniel said confidently.Owen didn't have a better idea, so he reluctantly went along with the plan for now. As long as it could embarrass Justin, that was enough. He absolutely couldn't let Justin feel proud. Just thinking about how Justin had been chatting and laughing with Audrey earlier made Owen's chest tighten with frustration. He wanted nothing more than to strangle Justin with his bare hands to vent his anger.'You're a nobody, and you think you can compete with me for a woman? Who do you think you are?' Owen sneered inwardly."Exactly, Mr. Longman. Justin is nothing but an ex-convict. He's no match for you!" Emma said, her tone dripping with flattery."Yeah, Mr. Longman. He's just a nobody, not worth mentioning. This time, we'll definitely teach him a lesson!" Daniel added, his voice equally obsequious.Owen's anger subsided slightly. Instead, he spoke in a calmer tone, "Alright, I'll give you one more chance. But if you
