"I know you're in that old man's room, Mom," Marcus said as he closed the door. He approached the long-haired woman, smiling mockingly at the man lying on the bed.

"Don't call your grandfather that rude name, Marcus." The woman took a deep breath and stared intently at her father. As she closed her eyes, she suddenly remembered past events.

The woman turned around, shocked to see Marcus. "Oh my God, what happened to you, Marcus? Why is your face all beat up?"

Marcus flopped onto the sofa, laughing heartily. "I just fell while I was taking a shower. You don't need to worry about these injuries."

"Did your father hit you again, Marcus?" The woman, Mary, got up from the chair, grabbed the medicine box from the nightstand, and approached Marcus. "I'll treat you."

Marcus held Mary's hand. "You don't need to bother. The doctor has already treated my wounds. I'm not going to die from these."

Mary sat beside Marcus, studying her son's face closely. "Tell me why your father beat you, Marcus."

Have you gotten any clues as to who he is and where he is now?”A guard replied, “The man is probably still around here, sir. Even if he managed to escape, he wouldn't be able to get past the guards at the hospital and the tunnel area.”“We've got a sketch of the shooter.” The guard handed Magnus his cell phone. "In addition, we have ordered all employees of this arena t

Morgan blinked several times to make sure he had seen correctly. “It's... Mike.”Mike was asleep in the back seat. The car window was open, so Morgan could see him clearly.Morgan sped up, overtaking several cars and motorcycles. Before the traffic light turned red, he had already crossed the road.“If Mike is in this city, then the other Iron Deer leaders are probably here too. My movements will be even more restricted, especially since I still have to stay in this city to recruit Jacob.”“I have to be even more careful now. The enemy might attack suddenly as they did on the island, especially since Magnus visited the underground fighting arena a few days ago.”Morgan arrived at the inn half an hour later. Dave sent a message saying he had successfully recruited one of his friends.“This is pretty good news amid increasingly difficult conditions.” Morgan clenched his fists tightly. “I can't lose to Dave either, and neither can you, Max.
