Chapter 264: Grave

“THANK YOU, Father,” Damian said, placing the files back in the black envelope and giving it to Veron. “I appreciate that you trusted me in knowing such dangerous files like this.”

“Because I know that you will only use it for good.” Veron took the black envelope, placed it back in the vault, and closed it. “Anyway, place your right hand here, son. I’m now giving you access to this place.”

Veron pointed at the squared glass on top of the table with pastel blue lights illuminating it. Damian placed his hand there, and suddenly, a blue line scanned his palm.

“Request for authorization, granted,” the computer-generated voice spoke again, and Damian removed his hand from the glass afterward.
