7. The gunfight

The gunfight

Elias is inside his bedroom wearing his Nike T. Shirt after finishing taking a shower from his bathroom as he is prepares himself to go to the his training at the gym as his daily routine. The time is 7:30 am in the morning. The time for everyone around the city to go to work and perform their duties as per scheduled in their offices.

As the time Elias prepares himself to go to practice inside his room while he is in his closet looking for a Jeans. Shortly his phone rings on the top of his bed as he still standing at the closet. When Elias hears his phone ringing on the top of his table, he then decides to go straight to his bed and picks up his phone immediately as soon as he caught his phone on his hand.

"Hello.", Elias speaks.

"Hi Elias. How are you doing today?.", Thomas asks.

"I'm doing great thanks."

"Elias. There is something that i want to tell you but first I'm begging you to listen to me very carefully for what I’m gonna say. Okay?.", Thomas speaks.

Elias raises his eyebrow with confusion and then replies, "Okay. What is it?."

"There is no practice today. There is something else that has come up."

"But why?. What happened?.", Elias asks.

"Listen the boss wants to talk to you so urgently at his office tomorrow morning."

"But why?. What is the problem this time?.", Elias frowns with confusion.

"There is no big issue. The boss just wants to discuss with you about some of the things in privately."

Elias sighs and replies, "Okay. I will see what i can do."

"Okay. But please Elias don't postpone this meeting this time because if you do. You will end up in serious trouble."

"Okay don't worry about that. I will be there.", Elias replies.

When Thomas hangs up his phone, Elias then speaks to himself with irritation on his face, "Damn it. Now i have to go and meet this loser again. It’s better if i start looking for another Job around. This is absolute torture for me."

As Elias continues talking by himself inside his room, Shortly Karen enters inside her bedroom and finds Elias talking to himself while standing besides the closet. Karen looks at Elias with confusion and then she decides to go to him in order to talk to him and find out what is going on with him.

"Elias. What is the problem?. Why are you talking to yourself alone at the closet?.", Karen asks as soon as she approaches Elias.

"It's nothing Karen. It's Just i have a lot of things in my mind right now that are disturbing me.”, Elias replies.

"Tell me darling. What are those things that are disturbing you?.", Karen asks.

"Nothing important It's just some work stuffs that's all."

"Are you sure?.", Karen raises her eyebrow with uncertainty.

"Yes I'm sure."

"Okay as you say so."

Elias decides to take his leather black Jacket from his closet and then wears it as he continues preparing himself since he has no plan of going to the training anymore after Thomas cancelled the training session.

"Darling. Is the breakfast ready?.", Elias asks.

"Not yet but it's going to be ready in few minutes.", Karen replies.

“I’m really hungry right now but I need to go somewhere to check somebody.”

"Why don’t you wait for your breakfast?. It will be ready in few minutes.", Karen frowns and replies.

"But I will arrive late to the place that I’m going."

"Just wait right here. I'm going to prepare the food right now."

Elias sighs and replies, "Okay."

Karen leaves Elias alone in the room as he continues preparing himself as she returns back to the kitchen in order to prepare the breakfast for Elias.

It is 11:30pm in the night at Veracruz in the gulf of Mexico city as the place is surrounded by the broken boats besides the sea shore. James and Pablo are at the beach, waiting for Alexandra to arrive at the scene so as to complete the transactions as they are all dressed up with their black suits together with their group of bodyguards. James checks at the time on his wrist watch and sighs.

James speaks, “Man!. What is taking them so long for them to arrive here at the scene?. It is going to approach midnight so soon and they have haven’t arrived yet.”, James speaks as he checks the time on his watch.

Pablo looks at James ad replies, “Relax James. I’m sure that Alexandra is going to arrive here so soon. Just be patient.”

Pablo turns head and looks at his bodyguards standing behind him and then returns back his sight to James. “James have you given them the instructions about what we are supposed to do when Alexandra and his people arrive here at scene?.”, Pablo asks.

James replies, “Yes I told them what do when the Alexandra arrives at the scene.”, and pats Pablo shoulder, ”Don’t worry about that.”

“Good because in this kind of situations we should always be prepared for anything that might happen.” 

At the time James and Pablo are talking to each as they wait for Alexandra to arrive at the scene. Shortly the three black range rover cars arrives at the scene. Alexandra drops off from his car with his briefcase on his hand and then starts scanning while looking around the place where Pablo might be standing so that he can meet him.

“James Alexandra have arrived at the scene with his bodyguards. Let’s wait for him here and be prepared.”, Pablo speaks.

James nods and replies, “Okay.”

 When Alexandra sees Pablo and James standing together with their bodyguards, he then decides to go towards the place where Pablo and James are standing in order to have a conversation with them while being escorted with his bodyguards from behind.

When Alexandra arrives at Pablo place with his guards, he then motions his hand towards Pablo as they both shakes hands. “How are you doing brother?.”,  Alexandra asks.

Pablo replies with a broad smile on his face, “ I’m doing great Alexandra. You are getting older by the way. How many grandchildren do you have up to now?.”, Pablo asks jokingly.

Alexandra scoffs and raises his eyebrows with a smile on his face,“I have four grandchildren right now. How about you?. Does your daughter have children already?.”, Alexandra asks with curiosity on his face.

Pablo shakes his head with disagreement and replies, “No!.  She hasn’t gotten married up to now.”

“She will soon. Don’t worry about that.”

Alexandra scans and looks at Pablo and his bodyguards behind him together with James and then returns back to Pablo.” Pablo. Did you come with the money for the drugs?.”, Alexandra asks.

Pablo nods and speaks, “Yes. I have come with them.”

“Good.”, Alexandra replies.

Alexandra scans around again while looking at Pablo’s guards and his guards on how they positioned themselves since he has a plan in mind, “Pablo can we somewhere and talk in private with our briefcases?.”, Alexandra speaks.

At the time Alexandra gives suggestion to Pablo about going somewhere so that they can talk in private. James suspicions perks with full of attention as he is afraid of the outcome if Pablo goes with Alexandra to talk in private since he has been so suspicious of him from the beginning on how Alexandra is behaving. “Okay sure.”, Pablo replies.

James interrupts and asks, “Wait boss. Is it okay if i join you two?.”, James asks Pablo with uneasy look on his face as he is scared of what might happen to his boss since Alexandra arrival have been a little bit suspicious.

“Don’t worry James. I will be right back.”, Pablo replies to James.

Pablo goes to his car parking besides the sea shore and takes his briefcase that was resting inside the car and then returns back to Alexandra. “Okay the briefcase is here. Where is the seller Alex?.”, Pablo asks with curiosity as he looks around the place.

“Don’t worry Pablo. He is on his way right now.”, Alexandra replies.

Pablo and Alexandra decides to leave their bodyguards in order to speak in privacy while leaving James with a lot of worry and curiosity of what Alexandra has planned to do since he is scared of what might happen to Pablo when he is all alone with Alexandra as they are together with Alexandra Bodyguards. Pablo’s guards and Alexandra guards both remains in higher alert as they are all prepared for anything that happens while looking at each other with their guns on their hands.

In few moments as the conversation between Pablo and Alexandra continues, suddenly Alexandra and Pablo starts to argue to each other and shortly afterwards Alexandra decides to take his gun quickly on his briefcase and shot Pablo twice on his chest.

James screams louder with panic after seeing his boss being shot by Alexandra, “NOOO!.”

At the time James sees his boss falling down on the ground slowly after being shot twice by Alexandra on his chest. Immediately afterwards the gun fight between Pablo’s bodyguards and Alexandra bodyguards starts as they all kill each other meanwhile Alexandra takes his briefcase and  Pablo’s briefcase and runs quickly away from scene straight to his car, leaving gunshot chaos besides the sea shore as he trails off away with his car from the scene.
