The Heirloom

 As the last wood slides locked Cressida thought to herself "I do not have the strength to break his gate of energy right now, he will catch wind of it if I stay here." 

Elena didn't want Stefan to know she had lost her powers after shifting souls with Cressida, she needed to do something fast so he didn't get a glimpse of this. 

" I need my sword," she said as a way to get herself out of the situation.

" I have become weak due to shifting of souls, I need my sword's energy to open your gate of energy. Without it, there's nothing I can do here. To retrieve my sword, I need to get out of here so stop the door." 

Stefan was quiet and the door kept closing up. Cressida's eyebrows raised in fuss as though to make a curved line on her face. 

"Did you not hear me?" She was upset with how calm he remained instead of making an attempt to stop the door.

"I can't do that, I need to wait until it fully closes first" Stefan said finally.

"You liar, you lied to me didn't you?" Cressida couldn't control her temper anymore. She stepped on a cave and the building started to shock. Wish left them both in the fist of foot stamping and struggling to stabilize.

However, everyone is gathered at the training center for a compulsory meeting as Petrova Theodore had instructed that no one lives on the premises even if you aren't a Pandoran. Petrova Theodore and his entourage walked into the meeting ground and stood close to where Old Reyes and his men were.

"I heard you borrowed the Martinez family's ghost Tiwa? Old Reyes asked Petrova almost in a whisper.

" Yes, my lord." Petrova had asked the Martinez family for their help to identify the traitor amongst them.

"Are you certain that thing is in Pandora?"

"I am, a soul shifter is lurking within Pandora".  

As everyone stood still waiting for the leaders to address the people. Stefan and Cressida, who had broken the door of the secret room, cleaned off their dust and went into the Hall where everywhere was packed full. They went closer to Trevor for a whisper. "What is going on? Why are we gathered here?"

"They're going to catch Elena's men who are in here." Cressida became uneasy with this information. 

"One of you has helped Elena's men you sneaked in here today" Petrova Theodore began to address the crowd. There was silence in the house when Trevor broke it. 

" My lord, everyone here knows each other. 

" On the outside, you all look like those of Pandora. That is why I asked someone for help." One of the guards came in to inform the leaders that Lady Katherina Martinez had arrived with Tiwa. 

Katherina is an adorable royal of the Martinez family, as she walks in with her maids into the Hall the people of Pandora were amazed at how beautiful she looked. She and Petrova shared a bow of respect.

"That must be Tiwa, the Martinez's family heirloom" Trevor whispered to Stefan.

"Tiwa? As in a dog?" Stefan asked.

"Yes, it is a ghost paspi that detects sorcery." Morgan concludes. Tiwa the metallic golden image in the form of a dog is unveiled in front of everyone. This trinket can detect sorcery. 

"There is a Soul shifter among us, Tiwa will find that individual."

"They look like one of us on the outside. But Tiwa will find the one with a different soul within them." Petrova and Old Reyes declared respectively.

Stefan knew with this new development, Cressida was in trouble, so they both began to panic.

Petrova orders that the doors be slammed shut, guards stand on watch. He promises that anyone who attempts to escape will be deemed a traitor and killed at the spot.

Lady Katherina Martinez comes close to the trinket and unwinds her hands over it, a smoky dog protruding out from this trinket and in its misty form transformed into a mystery dog with green eyes. Tiwa pounds on the walls of the hall searching for the traitor, its eyes had an awkward shadow appearance on each person it looked at. The room was field with terror.

" The Wizardry Of Souls, a type of sorcery, has only one weakness. There's a gap between the body and the soul and Tiwa can detect that" Trevor whispered to Stefan, the heirloom continued to Pace on the wall.

Its eyes scanned the hall in shadows and immediately pounded back on the floor taking steps towards Stefan. Stefan held Cressida by the hand firmly as Tiwa kept moving towards him.

"Stefan, feign ignorance even if I get caught," Cressida said.

"Is this loyalty?" Stefan looked at her with surprise.

"It's my duty, I do not want to become a laughing stock once they find out I asked you for help." 

It was visible that Cressida was scared for her life.

"Stay right by my side, no one here will let this thing attack me." Cressida has never experienced this defensive part of Stefan before. Only, it immediately jumps over him and Cressida finding the shadow soul shifter.

It happens that Tiwa jumped over to where they both stood but rather attacked the mole who was right behind Stefan and Cressida. He manages to fight off a fair amount of soldiers out in the courtyard and The heirloom Tiwa too. Everyone ran out of the hall to the courtyard in the midst of the chaos.

Sporting that familiar blue-grey skin from before, it takes Morgan stepping in with his swords to put an end to this menace. With that, the foe ends up petrified after a swift shot to the belly. The atmosphere became calm again at the training center afterwards.
