Chapter 23

Monday morning. At the Fairfax's Mansion.

“Logan, what are you up to, are you going somewhere or something?” Maya inquired, she was done preparing for family breakfast.

Though it is not her responsibility to make breakfast for the whole family, she was avoiding anything that could make the pick on Logan.

“Remember I told you I got a job from the man who helped pay my mother's hospital bill?” Logan replied as he put on his trousers.

“Oh yes, I remember. What position did he offer?” Maya inquired.

“I do not know yet, when I get there, I will know. Wish me well.'' Logan said.

“Good luck. Stay for breakfast, it's ready.” Maya said.

“Alright, I will.” Replied and gave out a sly smile.

“Shall we?” Maya said as she leads the way to the dinning. Wherefore every other person has taken their seat at the dinning.

When Olivia and Annette saw Logan, they at once began laughing at him silently as they whispered to each other.

Annette began, “He is off to work as he said he would yesterday. Hahaha!
