It was another day at the Gordon's Clan compound, and my name is Alec, I'll give you a quick explanation: I was reincarnated after a nasty motor accident while trying to save an old lady.

The gods granted me another chance by reincarnating me into another world about 14 years ago.

Later, I discovered that I was the young master and the only remaining heir of the Gordon family, However, my bloodline actually comes from the prestigious Ancient Blaze Clan.

Despite this, the Blaze Clan, one of the top families in the capital, never acknowledged me as part of their own, From what I heard, my father never officially married my mother, He was just a young master out for training who fell for my mother's beauty, used sweet words to win her over, and ended up impregnating her before returning to his family without informing her.

When my mother discovered she was pregnant, it was too late as my father had already gone, She tried to reach out to him by sending messages to his family, but none of them ever replied.

In desperation, she traveled to the capital herself to personally deliver the message, only to be humiliated and rejected by the man she claimed to love.

Heartbroken, she returned to the Gordon family feeling dejected, Thankfully, my loving grandfather, the Patriarch of the Gordon family, took care of me after my mother died during childbirth.

Since then, I have been raised by my grandfather in a small city near the capital, Our relationship feels more like brothers than a traditional grandfather and grandson bond, I truly appreciate the immense love he shows me.

"Alec, how are you doing today?" an aged voice asked from the courtyard door. I already knew who it was, but I turned around to face him while smirking.

"You know I'm good, old man. I won't die before you, after all," I replied playfully.

"You! Forget it, you seem to be getting really cheeky these days, little boy," the old man initially retorted and pointed his finger at me.

However, he soon sighed in relief and burst into laughter, We engaged in conversation and shared stories, appearing more like brothers than a grandfather and grandchild duo.

Anyone who saw us would never guess our true relationship The love my grandfather had for me is immense, After my mother passed away, he did everything in his power to raise me right, and I am eternally grateful for his care and affection.

But I could tell by the way he grabbed my shoulders and sighed that he was about to embark on one of his important speeches again.

"You do know you're about to turn fifteen, right?" he asked, his eyes filled with seriousness.

"Yes, old man," I replied, already aware of what he was about to say, In this world, once you turn fifteen, you awaken to your magical abilities and can finally be called a mage.

"You do know what comes next, right?" he continued, looking into my eyes. I nodded in response.

"I do," I replied confidently, excited for what lay ahead.

"Hmmm, after you awaken, come meet me. I have something important to pass on to you," he said, his tone full of anticipation.

"Ohhh, what is it?" I asked eagerly, my eyes shining with curiosity.

"Now, if I told you that, it would spoil the surprise, wouldn't it?" he teased, a mischievous twinkle in his eye.

He wanted me to be even more curious and beg for the answer, and I couldn't help but give in.

"Just a hint, please?" I pleaded, my excitement growing.

"Well, let's just say it's the one thing that has enabled the Gordon family to survive during the blood moons and establish a reputation for themselves, even if it's just at the bottom," he started, his chest puffing up with pride.

The Gordon family, known for their alchemy creations and reliance on golems, were often seen as weak by other mage families.

"But I can't believe you're embarrassed about it. The golem manual is unique and has served us well, I have no doubt you can revitalize the glory days when golems were revered," I interrupted, trying to reassure him.

It was common knowledge that the Gordon family's survival during the blood moons, when demons and undead attacked settlements, was an extraordinary feat.

Despite being underestimated, the family's ability to protect themselves and survive the blood moons was a testament to their strength. The blood moons occurred once every month, during which the 72 monarchs of the purgatory sent their generals and commanders to attack the surface, unleashing hordes of demons and undead upon the world.

My grandfather chuckled, clearly relieved by my words.

"I can't believe you're feeling embarrassed about this. Is it because you think I would follow the same path as the others in our family and study a different form of magic?" I inquired.

"Ye... ye..yes... I'm pretty nervous. The golem manual is not being practiced like before, and I don't want it to disappear while I'm in possession of it. You're a smart boy, and I'm sure you can bring back the glorious days when golems were worshipped," he began his pointless boasting.

"Enough with your bragging, old man," I interrupted, pouring cold water on his ego.

"Don't worry, I'll definitely come for it. After all, it's my inheritance. If I don't claim it, I might not receive any property from you when you're gone," I teased him once again.

"You brat! You're finished! Just wait for me!" he shouted, running around the courtyard in an attempt to catch me. I smiled, knowing all of this was just a charade. He was concerned about the upcoming wave of the red moon, trying to prepare me to acquire strength so that I could survive in this merciless world."

  • Patches And Beatrice Final.

“If you keep using moves like that, I’ll only last about three minutes, right now, five minutes is my absolute limit,” Beatrice complained, clearly unhappy that he had fired that poison beam at the Earth Takeda when other methods would have sufficed. While she was busy scolding him, the Wind Takeda was already manipulating the air currents to stabilize the Water Takeda in air, who still seemed to be in pain.“I have to admit, I never expected someone like you to push me this far. But clearly, I can’t keep fighting you this way,” the Wind Takeda said as he descended, deliberately creating distance between them.“Then come at me!” Patches replied, swinging his sword, as a massive crescent arc of Qi burst from the blade and shot toward the Wind Takeda. Yet unlike earlier, his expression remained calm, almost resolved.“For this battle… I accept it as my loss, even if I end up winning it.” Wind Takeda said while staring straight at Beatrice, clearly she had been able to make him show mor

Without wasting time, Wind Takeda raised his hands toward the sky, as the small tornado he had formed mirrored his movement, lifting Patches who was caught inside it higher into the air.Once Patches was high enough, he pushed his hands downward, and this time the tornado changed direction as its descent was dropping far faster than its ascent, and the wind that had been mirroring his motion accelerated violently as it crashed down.Bang!Another loud explosion rang out as dust swiftly blanketed the arena, wind Takeda hovered effortlessly with his wind wings flapping behind him, while the Water Takeda had already risen into the air. Both stared into the dust cloud, even pushing their mental senses forward in an attempt to locate Beatrice or her remaining active puppet. But no matter how hard they tried, they couldn’t get a clear read on either of them.“Have you been able to sense the puppet’s realm?” Water Takeda finally decided to ask the one question that has been bothering him in

But from what he was seeing, it clearly wouldn’t be easy, and now he was truly regretting underestimating the War God Mage Academy Team, as he started to feel if not for his big mouth earlier, he would have just simply summoned another main body and all these would have been all over.“Water, leave the seal and get out of range,” Wind Takeda said.“But—” Water Takeda was about to complain, but in the end he said nothing, as he began retreating backward while still keeping both his hands locked in the seal, he wanted to put a good distance between them before letting go, because he knew the moment he broke the seal, the compressed water prison that had been restraining Patches would collapse. But as he tried to escape, Beatrice swung her hand outward, as barely visible mana threads spread through the air, seeing her make a move and not wanting to take any risks, he cast a spell blowing out from his mouth.[> Low Ninjutsu Spell – Ice Mist. <]As he activated it, a cold mist spread outwa

Thud!A light shockwave rippled outward the instant the Water Takeda dropped from atop the wooden spider puppet, which was still completely frozen in place. Now it was effectively two main bodies against Beatrice, who had only one active puppet left, the Wind Takeda hadn’t moved since his last exchange, and neither had Patches. The puppet simply stood there, motionless, almost as if it were patiently waiting for them to make the first move.“Remember when I gently asked you to surrender earlier? I’ll give you the same option again, so are you surrendering, or do we have to make things difficult for you? Because believe me, as strong as that puppet of yours may be, you should know there’s no way it can take both of us at once,” the Wind Takeda said, settling into a combat stance.Beside him, the Water Takeda casually twirled his weapon, with his left hand holding one end while his right twisted the chain attached to the sickle blade.“Unfortunately, I know a certain stubborn guy who w

Seeing him dash so recklessly toward the three puppets without any hint of caution made many spectators uneasy. However the flaming mage puppet was the one to react first, by dashing forward and thrusting out its left hand forward, and from seemingly nowhere, flaming lances formed as it manipulated the fire particles in the air to conjure them. With a sharp motion, the lances shot toward the Water Takeda, however; he just weaved through them like a blue phantom, each near miss leaving a faint azure glow in his wake. Within moments, he was already in front of the flaming puppet.“Die!” the flaming puppet mage said in a flat, emotionless tone, showing that clearly its only objective was the elimination of the Water Takeda. His blade wrapped in a blazing aura, swung down in a diagonal motion, the crowd gasped as his strike appeared to connect, but a split second later, they noticed a blue streak sliding past the puppet. It almost looked as if the Water Takeda had phased through the pu

The whole crowd started cheering loudly after hearing Beatrice’s words, the mages supporting the School of Silent Night were all shouting for the Takedas present to make quick work of her.Meanwhile, the few fanatic mages still supporting the War God Academy began chanting Beatrice’s name loudly, though they had never seen the new puppet before and weren’t aware of what it was capable of, what they knew however was that no matter the odds against them, they would still support the War God Mage Team to the very end.It was actually surprising to many of the foreign mages present to see a group still stubbornly supporting a team they believed would soon lose, regardless of what Beatrice had shown. They were especially surprised because the rest of the Northern academies hadn’t received such treatment, and it was the War God Academy who isn’t even among the northern great 8 academies that was getting such treatments which made many of them start suspecting there must be a lot of foul pl
