The Blade Mage was both perplexed and frustrated by the turn of events.

He attempted to retrieve his sword back, but it was useless against the iron grip holding onto it.

Looking up slowly, he realized the source of his immobilization was a stone monkey Golem.

The monkey stood tall at about six feet, with fur covering its left hand.

Which left the mage Astonished , since the golem appeared to have a functioning arm with furs, muscle and blood different from the rest of its stone body, baffling the Blade Mage.

The Stone Monkey Golem met the blade Mage's gaze with indifference, further fueling the Blade mage's anger.

Ignoring the monkey's presence, he sprinted away, leaving his blade behind.

Seizing the opportunity, the stone monkey flung the sword back, an it landed in the hands of the Fifth elder, who wore a wicked smile.

"Thank you for this generous gift, my friend from the Central kingdom," the Fifth elder said, his shamelessness leaving the blade Mage conflicted about whether

The scene quickly changed, and in that instant, the Patriarch of the Gordons could be seen calmly griping the neck of the Fridall's clan's sixth elder. He stared into his eyes, attempting to invade his memories with his mental energy. However, when his mental energy entered the Sixth Elder's mind, he was met with a blurry image. Enraged, the Patriarch angrily threw the Sixth Elder's body far away."I thought that maybe, for once, you would be able to come out with your chest puffed out, But I guess I was wrong, You will always be a coward," the patriarch seethed. "I can't believe i met with another of your clone, you better not let me get my hands on you, or I will tear you limb from limb."The Sixth Elder of the Fridall's clan burst into laughter. "You can make all the threats you want, but I would be a fool to come out when you are trying to kill me, and the still truth remains that you are unable to kill me, not now, not ever, You will live in fear, always knowing that I will

Luckily, Lucas Blade wasn't lying when he claimed to know James' whereabouts in seclusion. Alec lightly knocked on the door, careful not to disturb James, as mages despised being distracted during their seclusion, especially for trivial matters. However, Alec had been overthinking the situation. When James asked who was at the door and Alec responded, James seemed genuinely happy and quickly invited him inside. The rest of the group waited patiently outside while Alec entered to meet James and discuss the purpose of their visit. With their original target lost, everyone's attention turned to Lucas Blade."Why are you all staring at me like that?" Lucas asked, a hint of worry creeping into his voice. He realized they might be planning to confront him together, even though they were on his master's peak. However, they were only at the outer region of the peak, and the disciples of Lucas' master at the Outer region wouldn't be able to match the Gordon clan in strength. Alec and the newly formed team made their way towards the Orc city's space passage, as it was the only familiar place the Gordons mages knew in the Abyss Realm. Despite James informing Alec about two more space passages at the academy, Alec was determined to enter only the Orc passage anyway."Ohh, who do we have here?, Isn't this Terran's new set of disciples who needed their master's help last time?" one of the two Tier 8 Mages guarding the Orc city's space passage said, attempting to tease Alec and the team. However, Alec promptly tossed a badge in the direction of the other guard who had been cold towards them. The guard caught it, obviously recognizing that it belonged to Terran."Hmm, has Terran finally lost his mind, sending his group of Tier 2 mages all the way into the Abyss Realm?, I guess that bastard Igor got to him," the mage muttered, tossing the badge back to Alec."Let me see your student badges," the mage demanded. The moment the mage confirmed that the badge Ale

Alec and the newly-formed team quickly closed in on the small Orc village that had recently settled near the Academy base city. Their fast progress was thanks to James knowledge of the area and his familiarity with the region."Now that I think about it, it was probably a good idea that Alec invited you to join us on this mission. Otherwise, we might have wandered deeper into the Abyss until we stumbled upon a village," Agnes praised James, who appeared pleased but tried to remain humble."It was nothing, really, Let's not forget that I owe your brother a favor, So when he asked for help, I rushed to assist," Jame replieds, his gratitude for Alec evident in his words.James's attention was caught by the map that Agnes was studying. "Whoa, how did you get that?, It's a copy of the old map, Only a few people are able to get their hands on it," he exclaimed in surprise."Well, the short man at the War God Armoury gave it to us, I'm just marking this Orc village settlement on it so that

Knight wasted no time as he hurried back towards Alec and the rest of the group. As he was Emerging from the shadows, he was immediately swarmed by everyone, eager to hear the intel he had gathered."Not too far from here, about twenty kilometers in that direction, the hunter Orcs entered a cave." " While I was spying on them, I made a mistake and was seen by one of the Orcs. I had to kill him," Knight explained, his tone filled with a sense of urgency.Although he had disposed of the body, Knight expressed concerns about the possibility of it being discovered soon, which would ruin their element of surprise.Brandon, who had been relatively quiet since the journey began, couldn't help but voice his concern. "How and why would you allow yourself to slip up?, Aren't you supposed to be the perfect Mage for this with your exceptional skills?"The thought of being chased by seven hundred plus Orcs sent shivers down Brandon's spine, and he couldn't help but fidget.Alec, displaying his

Deep beneath the cave lay an undiscovered underground mine that no faction had stumbled upon yet, except for the Orcs of the village settlement. They had been exploiting it to its full potential, explaining why their village seemed stronger than it should be. While the highest strength a village of their size was supposed to possess was Tier 3 Orcs , they already boasted a Tier 4 Orc and countless Tier 3 Orcs due to the power mine. This mine was no ordinary one; it was a power mine, where naturally occurring and unattributed power stones could be mined and directly absorbed. This explained the rapid increase in the village's strength, even though they were a newly settled community. The Orcs were desperate to keep the mine a secret, for if word got out that a small Orc family village was attempting to control such a valuable resource, they might face annihilation from larger Orc villages who coveted the great income that came with owning a power mine. The leader of the thirty Orcs

"How dare you!" Gabriel shouted, rising from the ground with his hand ablaze in a fierce icy glow. Alec, on the other hand was already prepared for any potential attack, as he summoned his tattoos and was transforming them into his Salamander armor set. But before they could clash, Grace stepped in between them, placing her hands on Gabriel and causing his spells to dissipate as if they were never cast.A smile remained on Grace's face as she looked at her brother. "You don't want to mess up now, do you?" She drew closer, whispering something in Gabriel's ear, a smile still playing on her lips. Alec strained to hear, but the words escaped him. All he knew was that Gabriel no longer had any intention of attacking. Gabriel snorted and turned his gaze elsewhere, prompting Alec to retract his armor set, feeling the imminent danger had passed."No, you should have allowed us attack first, now they got the kill. " Lucas complained, throwing a tantrum as he gripped his sword. The att

“How is that possible? We all know that the pill capable of curing the zombie virus can only be obtained from the royal palace itself, only the royal alchemist possesses the knowledge to create it, and even then, it’s said to be incredibly difficult to produce. ““That’s one of the reasons we rarely see it at all,” someone from the crowd exclaimed, sparking a wave of discussion among the mages, most still uncertain whether to believe Alec Gordon’s words. This time, Alistair couldn’t keep his composure, his mind was spinning as he tried to recall if there was any other way to contact the royal alchemists from the Capital city without a direct referral from the city hall, but he came up with nothing. That left only two possibilities: either the Gordons were involved in black market dealings with a Royal Alchemist in the capital, or they had a direct connection that allowed them to acquire rare items from there.Neither scenario sat well with him, as if it was the black market, it me

  • The Final Item.

After two of the spirit equipment sets had been claimed by the Lanzt and Aegisborn clans, the competition for the remaining two rose to an entirely new level, of the last two, one stood out instantly—completely dark, as though it had swallowed the light around it. Its presence radiated an ominous charm, and the intricate craftsmanship made it clear this was no ordinary set.It was a four-piece spirit equipment set: a full body armour that extended to cover the hands like gloves, boots that reached the knees and merged seamlessly with the armour, a long, shadowy cape affixed to the back, and a broad sword as the final piece. This set was known as the Umbral Dread Regalia, and the bidding for it surged rapidly, led by the Darkbliss clan, who had long been waiting for something that matched their shadow affinity. The price escalated until it reached two hundred and thirty Tier 6 bodies, at which point no one dared to bid higher. With that, the Darkbliss clan finally secured a prize o

While many in the crowd were busy wondering why no bidding war had erupted over such a high-caliber Spirit equipment set, Alec only smiled, only the top clans and a few insightful mages in the audience had grasped what truly happened. Most of the clans hadn’t shown much interest in the Ivory Juggernaut Set simply because it lacked elemental affinity but was more biased towards Qi manipulation, making it a poor match for their mages. Alec had given a brief explanation to stir some enthusiasm, and while a few had indeed shown interest, they remained hesitant. The Aegisborn Patriarch, however, saw the armour as a perfect blessing, as its abilities seemed tailored to enhance his clan’s innate strengths, so when he noticed a few other Patriarchs preparing to bid, he acted swiftly, calling out a hundred Tier 6 bodies without hesitation. In truth, that was the full amount his clan had brought to the auction. His brother Orion had warned him not to allow too many parties to get swept up i

As Alec approached the stone pillar, he used his body to block the crowd’s view. Whispers and quiet conversations stirred as everyone waited for him to move aside, but Alec deliberately took his time. Eventually, he stepped away, revealing five pill bottles neatly arranged on top of the pillar, staring back at the eager crowd.“I’m glad to inform you all that we’ve reached the final round of today’s auction, and if you didn’t manage to acquire anything before the end of the auction, don’t worry there will be another opportunity in the next auction,” Alec said as he addressed the room once again. “I won’t bore you with talk about what’s to come, instead, let me introduce the final items of the night.”With that, Alec walked over to the spirit equipment set placed at the far right, the armour gleamed white with golden edges, seemingly lacking elemental affinity, but radiating a heavy flow of savage Qi. Alec ran his left hand along the smooth surface of the armour, which included

After the second round was won by the Lanzt clan, the previously bustling crowd fell silent again, waiting for the next big reveal. But Alec had already rolled out two rounds which were dominated by his own items, successfully building the excitement he had aimed for, now the crowd of mages was far too hooked to leave or get pissed if he brought out lesser items. At this point, Alec decided it was time to bring out the other items that didn’t belong to him, like the low-rank spirit armours crafted by the Gordons’ forgers who were still learning the art, although Alec didn’t want the Gordons mages using these armours themselves, it didn’t mean he thought they were useless, which was why he decided to auction them off on behalf of the mages who created them so they could at least get some joy seeing how sorted out their creation was.The way Alec structured it, they would collect magic crystals for these products, with the profits shared between the mages who forged them and the Gordon

Fight! Bid and spend all your corpses here, in the end, I’ll still be the biggest winner, no matter how much you believe I’m taking a loss,’ Alec thought as he watched them close to breaking down, though he kept a nonchalant face, deep down he was almost jumping for joy seeing how much the pills were

“For the second round, I’ve prepared a batch of various items to speed things up,” Alec began as he walked towards the stone pillar and pulled off the black cloth that had been covering the items. “I have here three different items for the second round, and as you can see, there are three bottles, each holding cultivation pills, the first bottle contains ten Tier 3 cultivation pills.” “The second bottle holds another ten Tier 4 cultivation pills, while the third bottle contains five Tier 5 cultivation pills, and these three bottles will not be sold separately but as a joint sale, and the starting bid is six Tier 5 bodies.” Alec finally concluded his introduction of the second item, which happened to be a bundled sale, after his statement about the contents of the three pill bottles, the entire auction house fell silent. The breaths of many inside hitched as they could hardly believe their eyes, all this while, when they wanted to cultivate, they had relied on power stones harveste

The second female mage who had moved backstage earlier now rolled out another table, this time two tables interlocked together to prevent them from separating, one of the tables was empty, while the other was covered in a dark cloth, immediately making many in the crowd realize that was the second item of the day hidden beneath it.As the female mages reached the center, she and the first lady who had remained on stage with Alec began transferring the newly purchased armour, won by the black-clothed man onto the empty table. Once they were done, they placed the new item on the new empty stone pillar.Afterward, the first lady rolled the armour offstage while the crowd waited eagerly for the unveiling of the second item.“Well, in this situation, I’ll go straight to the point and not keep you all in suspense,” Alec said as he started walking toward the stone pillar. This was all part of his plan, starting strong with a high-tier item to set the tone, even if the next few items didn’t match the first in quality, the excitement would remain. As the crowd had already been made to believe that treasures awaited them, and that momentum alone would keep their spirits high, as the eagerly awaited what’s next. This was the power of first impressions, and Alec knew how to wield it
