[I didn’t tell you to stand up]

“I started trusting you,” Travis replied.

[Don’t misunderstand me]

[If you have completed the primary mission, I would have rewarded you greatly]

[I can help you open the door and make you run faster to avoid any punishment from these people]

Travis ignored the grand system as if it was a wrong number, and remained standing with his arm raised till everyone noticed him.

Everyone laughed except for the auctioneer who folded his arms, and said, “You don’t need to ask for permission before going out.”

“I stood because I want to pay $16,500,000,” Travis said, not minding the speed of his chest-beating. Even if the golden system failed him, he would still trust it.

“Can you afford that?”

“Yes,” Travis said, nodding.

“Anyone else?” The auctioneer asked. He didn’t believe Travis, but he saw this as an opportunity for another person to increase the price.

“Of course.” A fat man rose. “$17,000,000.”

“17,500,000,” Travis snapped back.

The fat man smirked at Travis. “This is interesting. I will pay $18,000,000”

“$18,500,000.”

The auctioneer was glad, although he was sure the boy would fail. He decided to reward Travis because it was his courage that raised the price.

“You can’t afford to buy a toy. It’s a waste of time competing with you. Show us what you got.” The fat man sat.

The auctioneer gave Travis the chance to step onto the stage while the bidders were making fun of Travis’s appearance.

“How do you want to pay?”

Travis gave him his card and took a heavy breath as he input his pin. Only the auctioneer knew Travis’s fingers were trembling on the payment terminal.

[Upgrading your system...]

[30% 50% 90% 100%]

[Upgrading successful]

[You have a limited Trusted Account]

[You can only use your TA once in a month]

[$12,999,500 is removed from your account]

[The remaining amount is removed from your limited Trusted Account]

[Your Account Balance: $2,000,000]

“Unbelievable!” The auctioneer’s eyes almost popped out as he looked at Travis, cleaning his tears.

Travis smiled. “Where is the car key?”

The auctioneer handed him the card and the key and then took him to the car while the other bidders were curious about what was happening.

“You can open the car with the key and your fingerprint. Should I show you how?”

Travis nodded.

The auctioneer opened a cover at the door. “If you place your finger here, the car will scan your finger for the first time.”

Travis placed his right thumb on the fingerprint screen and a green light flared.

“What is going on?” The fat man rose in annoyance.

The auctioneer faced them. “I’m sorry for ignoring you. As you can see, this important richest boy has successfully paid for the car.”

They rose as if they were told to. They couldn’t believe it. The fat man thought he was dreaming as a pretty woman wrote Travis’s name on the car receipt.

The auctioneer gave Travis the receipt. “You are free to drive your car out. And if you like, you can ask your car to drive you to anywhere you want.”

Travis entered the car and saw a large map. A robotic voice explaining how he could use the car welcomed him.

Travis then came out of the car in gladness as a man in a white suit came near and waved. Travis recognized him. He was the father of Calvin, who snatched his girlfriend with money.

“I’m Moore. I don’t want to waste your time. Can I invite you to my son’s wedding?”

“Sure,” Travis said.

“Thank you!” He gave Travis the wedding card happily. He intended to pursue Travis as his business partner because many would like to work with him now that he is popular.

The fat man bent his head and tried to get Travis’s attention. But he later hurried out because Travis pretended he never existed.

The auctioneer touched Travis’s shoulder gently. “Would you like to talk with the CEO of this company? He won’t take much of your precious time.”

“Yes, where he is?”

“Please follow me. He is waiting for you in his office.”

The security lady who had vowed to punish Travis bent her head as Travis walked out with the auctioneer. She prayed silently that Travis go straight to where he was going without ever looking at her. His presence is already scaring her. If she had known, she wouldn’t have treated him like trash.

Travis stopped at the door and waved to the security lady. “Hello!”

“Hi,” she said with a forceful smile on her face.

“I’m coming back for you. You still have an uncompleted goal.”

“Please, I can explain-“

Travis walked away, and the auctioneer followed with confusion on his face.

“This way.” The auctioneer opened an elevator room which lifted them to the tenth floor, and they met CEO Douglass impatiently waiting for Travis in his office corridor.

A soft sign came, and a soft voice of Travis followed. “I want to tell you something and I don’t know how to put it.”“What is that?” Stella asked.Old Mrs. Morrison furrowed her face and seriously wanted Travis to say his mind, so she brought her ears closer to the door.“I don’t know how you would react. Will you promise me you won’t tell anyone?” Travis asked.“I won’t.”“Not even to Granny?”“Not e

Augustus shed tears of joy as he leaned his back on the wall of Private Key bank. He went there to confirm his account balance because he thought he might have received a fake alert from the unknown master. The notification he received didn't show the master's name or account number. All he saw was 95 million 35 thousand dollars. Augustus had thought he would never forgive Liam and Mrs. Morrison, but the happiness that was flowing within him made him forget the pain of how they treated him badly. If not for old Mrs. Morrison, who took everything he owned, the master might not make him a millionaire. Augustus called the private number back but it failed. He then went to the restaurant to have a good meal and then used the opportunity to relax and think of what he would use the money for. The first thought that crossed his mind was of his daughter. He must take her out of Mrs. Morrison's house so that he can show her love he failed to do since her childhood. Days went by and

After getting home and relaxing for some moments, Mr. Williams checked his wristwatch and rose as Stella offered Mrs. Morrison a herbal tea. “I will be going home now. I have an important meeting to attend.” “Thank you very much, Mr. Williams, for being there for me on bad days. I appreciate it. God will repay you in abundance,” Mrs. Morrison said. Mr. Williams smiled. “You are always welcome.” The moment Mr. William left, Mrs. Morrison started the topic with Master. “Augustus, what are you hiding from me? Which master are you?” Augustus sighed. If he says the truth, who would believe the truth anyway? What is the point of saying it? “Mom is talking to you, Augustus,” Liam added. “I’m not the master that Mr. Lucian is talking about,” Augustus said. “Then you might have some connection with that master,” Mrs. Morrison asked. “I don't want to be repeating myself, Mom. I cannot hide from you.” “The way you show courage at Mr. Lucian’s company depends on someone or so

Augustus frowned as he knelt before Mr. Lucian and said nothing. He can only force himself to knee, but can't force himself to beg. He had made up his mind that Mr. Lucian deserved the punishment for beating Chloe. “I expect you guys to support me. He deserves it and we shouldn't care. I'm not afraid and won't beg him,” Augustus said and rose. “We're not here to spoil his things. He had every right to take us to jail now. The only thing we can do is to find the money,” Mr. William said. “We won't find any money, and he must release Granny now,” Augustus said and looked more aggressive. “Calm down please, Dad,” Stella said. “I don't have time for rubbish people. What I said is what I will stand on. I will not release Mrs. Morrison till he pays $8,000. In fact…” He pointed to Stella while looking at his other security men. “Take his daughter too and send the rest out of my company. I don't want to see any of them except if he comes with my money. And I have increased the amou

Chloe slightly opened her eyes on the hospital bed and was transfixed by the faces of her family sitting beside her. "She has woken." Liam, the only person who didn't sleep last night, swiftly rubbed his eyes. He relaxed his shoulders on the chair and took a deep breath. He had been watching the rising breath of his daughter since last night to be sure she was alive and, at the same time, was furious about what Mr. Lucian did to her. Old Mrs. Morrison opened her eyes ajar and stopped Liam from grappling with Chloe's hand. "I understand your feelings, but let her rest." Liam then hugged Mrs. Morrison and sobbed like a small child. "Mr. Lucian is so wicked. I thank God my daughter hasn't married him. He is going to regret it. He would die in prison." Others were woken by Liam's mourning voices and were relieved to see Chloe sitting up. "This isn't the right moment to cry," Mr. Williams said as he checked his wristwatch. "Now she is fine, what should we do next?" Old Mrs. Morr

Chloe wore a blue gown early in the morning and went to Travis's door, knocking. "Open the door, Travis." She gave Travis a rate-me sort of smile as he opened the door. Travis widened his eyebrows. "Hey. You are so beautiful like a morning glow." Chloe hissed. "I want you to tell me I am ugly. I want to fail. Give me ten minutes." She hurried back to her room and changed into a black skirt and white top. She knocked on Travis's door again. "How do I look now?" Travis took a deep sigh. "Don't you look in the mirror?" "Just tell me how I look." "I won't lie. You become more pretty." "Two minutes please." Chloe went back to her room. She wore her vest, jeans, and cap, looking like a tomboy. The moment Travis saw her coming, he burst into laughter. And without asking how she looked, she took Travis's laughter as a way of telling her she was ugly. But no, Travis wanted to tell her to wear the first blue gown because the vest revealed more of her alluring face. Stella went to Trav
