CHAPTER 10

The next morning, the pirates are now getting ready for tonight. Since they would be defeating the navy, it won't be an easy task. 2 lieutenants and sailors that has a total of 600. They are literally outnumbered from 2 to 100. So, they need a decisive plan in order to get that Henry out of there and defeat them. But before Thomas could start planning, William then gave him something,

"Ought you want to know." William says as he then gave Thomas an article.

It turns out, this article contains Edward Jack, Thomas' father. And it says here, his bounty has been increased significantly,

"WANTED!

Edward "The Terror" Jack

Bounty: 3,700,000,000 pendz"

"That shitty father. It hasn't even been a month since his bounty climbed 400 million, and now, he reached the billions. What did he exactly do?" Thomas then flipped the newspaper and he gogt his answer.

The article says,

"Edward "The Terror" Jack, a truly demon of the seas. Over the past 2 weeks, The Terror have sunk 36 navy warships and then he plundered the ships and took some officers and sailors to join his crew forcefully. And then yesterday, he had a battle against two rival pirates of his. Their battle took place at the borders of the Great Blue and the Linp seas. The Terror came out on top victorious. He is now being considered as part of the 6 most dangerous people in the seas, the Sea Reapers."

And so, the article says. Thomas' father became bigger when he was not paying attention. In any case, since he doesn't really care about it, Thomas and his crew was now about to devise a plan for that convict. And then, Penny and her gang came. Following them was the carriage of Tina who stepped down and is also here to listen to the plan. Since Penny can't just trust some pirates to run a plan, they are here to listen to whatever is this rookie captain going to say. With all the important pieces already gathered, Thomas began. He said that there are over 600 navy soldiers out there that is going to transport the prisoner to another prison, then there are the 2 lieutenants. Penny and Tina do not know who those lieutenants are since they just got deployed in Koes, but to Penny, they are not to be underestimated. So, Thomas then told them their plan. Their plan is to surround the 600 soldiers. The others told it was crazy and absurd since there are only 19 of them, it would be a suicide mission. Penny then suggested something else, but Thomas pointed out that this is their only chance,

"Those soldiers will underestimate us for sure. We the Jack Pirates are rookies; they would expect some sneaky attack. However, they will not be expecting us to surround them. Your majesty, I hope that you haven't forgotten. We are pirates, when our enemies are playing dirty, we will retaliate even more gruesome." Thomas explained.

Penny and Tina admitted that Thomas has a point that this plan might work. However, Thomas then suddenly asked something,

"I thought about your offer last night, princess. But unfortunately, we cannot accept the offer of you giving information about the clue that you will extract from your friend. It will look as if Henry was the one who will repay us, not you. So, I am going to propose something else in exchange for his freedom,"

"Insolent pirate! Don't be too cheeky! How dare you—"

Tina then raised her hand at Penny as she quieted down,

"What is it that you want?" Tina asked.

Thomas smirked,

"250 barrels of your fine milk, and we will continue to help you." Thomas offered.

Penny immediately pointed it out that it is impossible. The stocks of milk are counted since it needs to be properly numbered before it can be exported to other countries. Thomas then turned to Jeff and asked if him 250 barrels would fit in the Falcon. Jeff nodded as he told everyone that the ship is big enough since it is a galleon that can fit over a hundred men.

"Barrels of milk for a single life, you can choose. Because no matter how kind we are, we are still pirates. We may not plunder, but we can still act as pirates." William says.

William was just thankful that Thomas didn't forget that they were pirates, because everything would be meaningless once they are softer than anyone. Penny talked Tina out of this and told her that they would just handle it themselves and would never depend on these pirates. However, Tina agreed with the deal, saying that it is just a small price to pay for the life they are going to save. Penny sighed, as Tina really cares about her childhood best friend. Thomas then grinned and he discussed the plan. There are 19 of them, and they are going to be divided in two groups. One is led by William, and the other is led by Thomas himself. Thomas would have 9 in his group, and that includes Jeff and Penny. While William will have 10 in his that mostly composed of the Jack Pirates including 2 of the princess' men. And now that the groups have been formed, Thomas told them how they will ambush their enemies later at night. Thomas told them that William's group would handle the left side of the enemy lines, while Thomas' group goes to the right side. And that is all there is to the plan. William sighed as the plan was too simple. Jeff laughed as their captain is a funny man. Thomas intends to shock the enemies, not overwhelm them in numbers. And once people are shocked, they lose their full control over their body for a few minutes as they will try and adapt to the situation. Thomas then told them that they must grab the opportunity that the soldiers are shocked and confused and then they will attack them relentlessly. While the others are attacking, Thomas and William will go and target the lieutenants, while Penny will go to the prisoner as the rest are distracted and then she shall free the prisoner without delay. Thomas reminded them that this is just a surprise attack. They won't fight all-out, but Thomas and William have to knock out the lieutenants as those people are the real threat to them, honestly. Because regular navy soldiers just won't match up with their strength. After the recovery has been taken care off, the pirates would run to their ship, with the milk already in it and then they would go and set sail and escape the island off to their next destination.

"That is why, after this meeting, princess, we would want the milk to arrive here an hour after this meeting finished, got that?" Thomas says.

William smirked, as they, the Jack Pirates, did not plunder the kingdom. Instead, their captain extorted the princess, a very clever way of acquiring something indeed. He truly is the son of Edward, but with a whole different way of being a pirate. Tina agreed to it, and as the meeting has come to an end, Tina promised to bring the barrels later. Thomas nodded with a smile as they then came off their ship,

"Men, sharpen your weapons, put more bullets in your guns and pockets. It is going to be a long night." Thomas ordered.

"Aye, aye, captain!"

Meanwhile, at the main docks of the kingdom, the bells of the navy warships started to ring so loudly. All the soldiers are lined up in front of the docks, including the two lieutenants as two more warships arrives carrying more men and the cage the prisoner who will be put in it. As the ships docked, 4 men wearing a different uniform than the rest came down the ships and they were greeted by salutes.

"Greetings to the marine corps, from the navy!"
