CHAPTER 19

After 3 days of travel, the Jack Pirates have now reached the boundaries of both Koes and Linp seas. And as they entered the new sea, there was a small island, and on that island was dozens of gallows, and on those gallows were the poor skeleton remains of the pirates that has been executed there. Then, there is this big sign board near the beach of the island, and it says,

"Ye be warned, vile Pirates."

Thomas then spats at sea, and so did the others, as this is what pirates do when they saw their fellow pirates hanged. That was made up by an infamous pirate, as a sign of respect to those who passed away. But it can be double meaning also. As it is also a mockery to those who died pathetically in the hands of the navy.

"Linp. Sea of trouble. The only sea that only has 60% of it consumed by pirates and other criminals. That just means—"

"Law is what makes this sea infamous. Only a few notable pirates have come out of Linp and into the new world. And some just chooses to stay, since they won't be able to escape the grasp of the navy and marines, despite having one of the three entrances into the Great Blue here." Thomas followed as William nodded.

The two were near the bow of the ship, as Thomas then turned around and called Henry who was mopping the decks. Henry approached them, and Thomas then took out the map that has been given to him by the mayor,

"Now, I think it is about time you tell us about the clue to the treasure?" Thomas asked.

Henry nodded as he then began explaining. He only holds a single clue,

"Me booty is at a distant sea. Go to the west, and you shall see, the final clue towards my treasure that you seek."

And those words are the only clue Henry have. Those words are the ones that has been passed down through generations. Thomas is shocked in disbelief, as the clue they have been searching for in Miliq for days was actually just a riddle.

"Come to think of it, Keaton Teach is known for his insane knowledge when it comes to riddles. That is why he was labeled as the pirate's poet, and I don't even know if that makes sense. In any case, the clue is right. Linp is the western sea of the world." Thomas said as he told his crew to just go straight to Red Island.

Because before they can find the other clue, they must find the doctor his sister was telling him about. Since they need a doctor on board, as diseases at sea can be fatal once go untreated. Henry who was massaging his growing black beard was then ordered to swab the deck more, while Thomas told the others to continue their jobs until they reach Red Island. And he also ordered Angelique, who was up the crow's nest to watch out for navy ships. Angelique looked through the spy glass, and that is when she saw it,

"Pirate ship, straight ahead!" she then rang the bell besides her that alerted the crew.

Thomas stepped on the bow and on top of the head of the falcon figure head, and there they are. A pirate ship. Meanwhile, at the pirate ship that has been spotted, they have also spotted the ship of an unknown pirate ship. Looking through the spy glass, the lookout bellowed down at the deck that there are pirates at the entrance of Linp,

"Can you tell the pirates by their flag?" asked the bald captain who came out of his cabin.

The lookout looked through the spy glass again, and that is when he broke into sweating. The ship was a big galleon, has a falcon figurehead, and on the black sails were the word, Jack. While the Jolly Roger was this white skull, with cross swords at its chin, and at the background of it was a big jack of clubs, and then at the very bottom of the cross swords was the word Jack again. There is only one ship and pirates that fits the description,

"C-Captain! It's the Jack Pirates!" yelled the lookout.

And that is when the captain of this ship started to sweat buckets. The Jack Pirates have finally arrived at Linp, and they are maybe attempting to get in the Great Blue. The captain was left with no choice. He is the only person on board their sloop ship that has a bounty, and his bounty is just 2,000,000. Compared to Jack Pirates' bounty which has the total of over 600 million, they are no match to them, but this is also an advantage,

"Strike colors! Gather on the deck!" the captain ordered.

As his crew of 25 men gathered on their deck of their ship as they raised a white flag and waited for the Jack Pirates to arrive,

"They struck colors and raised a white flag!" Angelique announced.

William smirked, because as expected. Their captain's notoriety reaches even the other seas. Because Thomas' name is far too big to be ignored. After a few minutes, they have reached the sloop and they lower their anchors and stopped besides the enemy pirate.

"Invite them on board." Thomas ordered, and his crew then invited all the pirates on board theirs.

The enemy pirates stood at the main deck of the Sailing Falcon, as they are being surrounded by the Jack pirates, with Thomas standing in front of them,

"So, striking your colors means that you have surrendered?" Thomas asked.

The bald captain nodded,

"But I do have a proposal." Says the other captain.

"Let us hear it."

"Can we fly under your flag? We are a small pirate group, never really plundered towns or killed people. Even though I have a bounty of 2 million, I only got it by stealing this ship from the navy branch." Explained the bald captain.

"Very well," Thomas then borrowed a dagger from his crew and asked them to bring two cups and a bottle of rum.

The crew brought him what their captain needed, and Jeff then placed a barrel between the two. Thomas filled his cup with rum, and the other captain did the same. Thomas then raised the dagger and slit his own palm. He then let his blood drip into the cup of the other captain, and the other did the same. It was the cup of alliance and acceptance. It is a sacred tradition by pirates who will swear to fly under a certain group for their and their new captain's lives.

Thomas then raised the cup, and so did the other captain,

"I, Smithy, shall pledge my allegiance to the Jack Pirates and will serve as their shield and sword if the captain commands it." Says Smithy to start the oath,

"I, Thomas Jack, accept you under my flag to serve as my shield and sword if I command it. Thou shall the allied pirate have their own freedom." Thomas followed as they then drank the rum with their blood in it.

The others were surprised by it, as Thomas gave the ally pirates the freedom and not just follow their orders. A pirate can break the promise, as it will not have any consequences or curses. But the traitor must face humiliation, as he just swallowed the blood of the person he just promised to, same goes for Thomas. After finishing drinking, Thomas reached his hand out to them,

"Welcome to the Jack Pirates." Thomas smiled as the crew celebrated.

As the Jack Pirates have now 47 members and two ships.

"And now since you guys are from Linp. I suppose you me hearties knows where the Red Island is?" Thomas asked and smiled.

Smithy nodded, and then gave them the map of Linp. And to the south was Red Island, a quite isolated island and is weeks away from the nearest marines' branch office.

Thomas grinned,

"Hoist the sails! Hoist the anchors! Get back on your ship!" Thomas looked at Smithy " We are heading towards Red Island!"
