"Stupid! "Opportunity will not come twice, look at Edward coming here just to defend you because his family's wealth is not comparable to ours, throw away your ego and look at the gold that is in front of you," he added.

Harley was silent for a moment, the glory of the Johnson Company was beyond doubt, even Edward, the first son of the Johnson family, was famous for having the same arrogant and sarcastic attitude as Renal.

"I highly doubt it," thought Harley.

"With your attitude, are you sure that your father can persuade the new owner of Wayne Corporation?" quipped Gerald.

"Don't interfere, Gerald," snapped Harley's mother. His poor son-in-law almost went too far in front of the figure of Edward Johnson, the richest and most successful son on the West Island.

"It's okay mother-in-law, we'll see how this poor and arrogant person acts carelessly towards me. Harley won't last even five minutes at Wayne Corporation because he will definitely need me," said Edward confidently.

"You want to bet?" about Gerald.

"Are you joking with me?" Edward asked, raising his eyebrows.

"No. This is for my wife's dignity. Let's bet that if Harley manages to win more than one contract then you have to kiss Harley's and my feet three times while if Harley doesn't get the contract I will be your servant for one month," said Gerald flatly. .

Harley stared in disbelief at Gerald's out-of-bounds actions, especially as Edward was about to complain to his father about this problem, suddenly her beautiful face looked worried and her heart was beating fast when she imagined her husband's fate.

"Gerald, what are you doing?!" Harley screamed.

"Okay, I accept your challenge," replied Edward with a meaningful smile.

"I reject this idea, Edward, don't ever listen to Gerald's words, he's in a bad mood right now," Harley interrupted quickly.

"Be a responsible man so that you will be respected," said Edward and then went home without saying anything to Harley and his mother.

“You stupid son-in-law! Why would you say that to him if you can't fix it yourself? This time your husband has gone too far, Harley?!" he shouted after Edward Johnson had left the house.

"Gerald is sorry, mother," he said softly.

Harley, unable to defend herself, suddenly felt dizzy after seeing her husband's annoying bet, so she chose to go to the bedroom to soak in a bath to calm herself down.

"You have brought this family to stand on the edge of a cliff where they could fall and die at any time," said Harley's mother weakly and then went to the room to calm herself.

"I have to contact Anak," muttered Gerald.

"Good evening, young master Wayne," said Ana.

"What happened at the office? Why wasn't I told that Wayne Corporation is currently opening a large-scale collaboration with a small company?" Gerald asked.

"It was Mr. Wayne who ordered him to create a mega project worth five trillion dollars to develop West Island so that the world would become more familiar with the identity of this company, because so far your brother who has been in charge of the change has been completely absent, in fact the losses have become increasingly visible," explained Ana.

"I see," said Gerald while massaging his temples.

"You have to show potential from now on, young master, give us hope," continued Ana.

"I understand, Ana," replied Gerald, sighing and closing his eyes to calm down for a moment.

A week has finally passed. Gerald has been scheduled to hold a meeting to discuss cooperation, including his wife's family company, but he still has no intention of showing his true identity because plans to take revenge against Kyle's family are right in front of him.

"Then what about tonight's meeting? You know, meeting Harley or Renal will find out who I really am," Gerald whispered hoarsely.

"Sir, you don't need to worry," explained Ana calmly. Gerald heard that, feeling relieved that he could now focus on planning the next steps in his more complicated revenge strategy against the Kyle family.

"I beg you, do not accept offers of cooperation from companies related to Christian or Renal!" Gerald's message was firm.

"Yes, sir. I will avoid it," promised Ana.

"But, do you know what Grandpa's relationship is with Johnson Company?" asked Gerald, digging deeper because Edward's words a few days ago kept bothering him.

"You know about the Johnson Company, Young Master?" Ana asked, trying to hide her surprise.

"Yes, I want to know what relationship they actually have with the Wayne Corporation? If grandfather has a good relationship with them I want to end it immediately," emphasized Gerald.

"Has the Johnson Company bothered you, sir?" Ana asked carefully.

"No, not the owner but his son, Edward Johnson. He came to my wife and openly dared to ask her out on a date. I've had enough and want this revenge to be finished as soon as possible, especially against him by expelling the Johnson Company," he said coldly.

Ana's eyes lit up. He couldn't even hide his joy when he found out that Gerald also wanted to destroy the arrogant company.

"Sure, sir. I can do it. Just tell me, what do you want to do to them?" Ana asked, ready to serve his every request.

"Why do you look so happy, Ana? Maybe you also have a personal grudge against Edward Johnson, right?" asked Gerald while squinting his eyes, suspecting that this woman's behavior was unusual.

"I think your life must have been hard, sir, considering so many enemies surround you," he said quietly. Gerald's face looked happy tonight, he had to deal with the people who had been mean to me.

Gerald returned to the Kyle family's residence after juggling one day's work, just as he stepped on the bedroom floor, he was struck by sudden news from Harley's mouth.

"Grandma will be throwing a big party tomorrow night. All the heads of companies are invited, including those from the new Wayne Corporation," he said almost breathlessly.

 "What?!" shouted Gerald.

"Yes, you know your agreement with Edward, Renal, we will end Gerald," he said sadly.

"You better rest, don't think about other things," said Gerald, calming Harley.

"If you hadn't said that, this problem wouldn't be this complicated, Gerald," she whispered softly and then went into the room as if she was lifeless. The news was like thunder in a clear sky, for Gerald he immediately called Arnold.

“Can I help you young master?” said Arnold.

"Tomorrow there is a special event for business people, should I come and just introduce myself?" Gerald demanded, his expression reflecting confusion.

"Sir, you really have to attend. Mrs. Kyle has invited the new leader of the company through grandfather and he has agreed to it," explained Arnold in a calming tone.

"But a revenge plan? I don't want everything to end in vain?" Gerald asked again, his voice hoarse with worry.

"I think you can still continue with the plan even though the new identity being revealed will make things more interesting," suggested Arnold, Gerald had no choice but to follow his grandfather's will.

The time he had been waiting for finally arrived that night when the whole family had gathered, the party atmosphere was starting to heat up, Harley looked anxious looking for Gerald while Renal approached him.

"Your husband must be washing dirty dishes in the back," he said sarcastically.

Harley just snorted in annoyance and continued her search, not realizing that her husband was already there in the midst of the excitement of the event when suddenly a luxury car stopped right in front of the Kyle family's house.

The person who was targeted was unable to utter a word, his head lowered, his face looked unbearably pale due to the fear that enveloped him. Grandma started to growl in annoyance because the situation had strayed far from the topic of conversation. They glared sharply at Renal. "Enough! Stop this chatter," said the grandmother firmly. "Mother just kept silent watching Harley being hurt like that? Please open your eyes, mother, that all this time Harley has been up and down building the Kyle Group since his father left temporarily because of the arrival of Renal, who he said was precious gold at his university?" said Gerald's mother-in-law. "Auntie, watch your words, I am indeed a golden child and grandmother should be proud of me," said Renal arrogantly. "Enough! That's enough, aren't you embarrassed Renal with your words and behavior? You look even more rubbish compared to Gerald. If you are indeed capable of getting a contract with the Wayne Corporation, just prove it. Don't ke

Grandpa read all the reports Ana gave today and thought what Gerald did was stupid. The woman reported the actions taken by the new owner of the Wayne Corporation, not expecting her grandson to receive a cooperation contract with the Kyle Group, which was only a small company. "So far, that's all the young master has done," Ana reported. "What is Gerald thinking? If this collaboration is successful, we will only gain a few percent of Wayne Corporation's shares, doesn't he think this is a waste of energy?" Wayne's grandfather asked disapprovingly. "It seems that Mr. Gerald has a special grudge against the Kyle Group," said Ana. "He is his wife's family, but I didn't expect Gerald would actually do this to make up for his heartache," added Grandpa Wayne. "Then what should I do, sir? Should I cancel the cooperation agreement with the Kyle Group?" Ana asked for reassurance. "No, don't do that. To cover the operational costs that will occur in this collaboration, it's better to make

"Okay. I'll prove it," replied Renal confidently. Gerald immediately snatched the cooperation contract letter with Wayne Corporation from Harley's hands. The man with a thin beard and mustache tore the paper into shreds and threw it in front of everyone there with full confidence. “Are you crazy, Gerald?!” Grandma shouted because the thin paper was so precious to her. "Grandma won't need that, because her beloved grandson will guarantee a new cooperation contract from Wayne Corporation," replied Gerald. After saying that, Gerald pulled Harley's hand away from there, the two of them walked confidently and left the Kyle family residence. Meanwhile at home, Grandma was infuriated by Renal's mother's arrogant attitude and immediately hit her very hard in the face and blamed her for making Gerald that angry. "You're the one who made Gerald angry today, are you out of your mind?" Grandma snapped. "She's just a worthless daughter-in-law, why bother with her? Don't worry, regarding the

"Accusing me of selling myself just because you were rejected?" Harley replied. "Yes, that is the reality," emphasized Renal. "You are very cunning and arrogant, Renal. To the point of slandering me for unclear reasons. I did all this without any frills," screamed Harley. "I will never accept this disgusting cooperation contract," said the grandmother firmly. "Grandma," whispered Harley. "You, grandma, fire me and immediately leave the Kyle Group!" Kyle's grandmother continued. Like being struck by lightning, Harley heard the words of Kyle's grandmother who fired him for something he didn't do without caring about his self-respect. He, who didn't want to lose his job, immediately sat down and prostrated himself asking for forgiveness. "Grandma, please don't do that. I've survived and sacrificed many things to stay in the Kyle Group," Harley begged. "All this time, I've been merciful to you, Harley. If it weren't for my husband, I would have taken you away from the Kyle Group a
