“Finally, that madman is dead. Now no one will bother us anymore!” said The Demon Fang.

“I will never forgive the three of you—you’re the ones who forced me to do this!” said Shinra Kazan as he rose to his feet, his eyes bloodshot.

“Oh, so you want to take revenge on us? Remember, it wasn’t him I wanted to kill—it was you! It’s his own fault for impeding my machete attack!” said The Bloodthirsty Demon.

The three of them were certain that Shinra Kazan, who no longer had any weapons, wouldn’t be able to hold out for long against their combined attack.

All three raised their respective weapons, channeled their Ki energy into them, and charged forward to attack Shinra Kazan.

“Soul-Sucking Blood Machete.”

“The Death Reaper Demon’s Sickle.”

“The Fangs That Pounce on Prey.”

The three of them charged forward, intending to kill Shinra Kazan with a single slash, but as they neared him, they saw his skin turn red, which startled them.

Shinra Kazan took a fighting stance to attack while simultaneously parrying their strikes.

“The Demon King’s body.”

Shinra Kazan’s entire skin turned a deep red, like raw red meat without skin, and then he advanced to meet their attack with his bare hands.

“The Demon King of Hell’s Footstep.”

Shinra Kazan was the first to seize the Bloodthirsty Demon’s machete; he yanked it out of the Bloodthirsty Demon’s grip and then crushed it like crumpled paper.

“No…! My machete…!” The Bloodthirsty Demon looked devastated to see his only weapon—the one that had always accompanied him—now destroyed.

Seeing their brother’s damaged machete, the Death Reaper Demon and Demon Fang ceased their planned attack on Shinra Kazan;

“Why are you two just standing there? Hurry and attack—finish him!” shouted The Bloodthirsty Demon, his face filled with frustration.

The two could only exchange glances; they were still hesitant to attack, but they saw Shinra Kazan—who looked like a demon—already charging toward them.

“His Ki energy is rising quickly—this must be a technique from the Book of the Demons Hell! So he’s already mastered it,” said The Demon Fang, looking troubled.

“Since he won’t spare our lives, our only option is to battle him and put everything at stake,” said the Death Reaper Demon. Then he raised his sickle, followed by the Demon Fang.

The two of them finally met Shinra Kazan’s attack head-on and fought fiercely.

The Bloodthirsty Demon also joined the attack with his bare hands, and the three of them combined their attacks, successfully wounding Shinra Kazan.

Shinra Kazan, who had sustained quite serious injuries, refused to give up. He understood that his three Hell Demon Arts techniques were insufficient to defeat his siblings.

“Soul-Sucking Demon King.”

Shinra Kazan unleashed the last Demon Art he had mastered; with his extremely high body-lightening ability, he moved swiftly and grabbed the Death Reaper Demon by the head.

“Little brother!”

“Second brother!”

They were both shocked to see that the Death Reaper Demon’s head was already in Shinra Kazan’s hands.

The Death Reaper Demon intended to swing his sickle backward, but before he could even swing it, his vision suddenly went dark and he died with his head shattered.

Shinra Kazan blew up the Death Reaper Demon’s head, then took the sickle still clutched in the demon’s hand.

Although his speed and Ki energy had increased due to using the Hell Demon’s body, Shinra Kazan himself was not in good condition.

The wound to his abdomen, caused by the Demon Fang sword, had left him weakened because he hadn’t been able to stop the bleeding yet.

Relying only on his sickle and the speed from his body-lightening technique was all Shinra Kazan could do;

“Let’s keep going!” said Shinra Kazan, hiding his weakness.

“That’s incredible! So that was the power from the Book of the Demons of Hell? I never would have guessed you’d master it, but I’m still going to take it from you!” said The Bloodthirsty Demon, then he struck The Demon Fang in the back.

!!!

Demon Fang became startled when his first brother struck him from behind, causing his body to fly toward Shinra Kazan.

The Demon Fang didn’t have time to speak or cry out; he never expected his first brother to be so ruthless as to use him as a sacrifice.

The sickle wielded by Shinra Kazan immediately sliced the Demon Fang’s body in two; the Demon Fang died with his eyes still open.

The Bloodthirsty Demon also moved incredibly fast and then delivered a powerful blow.

“Death Blow!”

Shinra Kazan’s stomach took a direct hit from The Bloodthirsty Demon, sending his body flying into a large tree and flinging the sickle from his hand into the air.

“Now die…!” shouted The Bloodthirsty Demon, then delivered a flurry of blows to Shinra Kazan’s body until Shinra Kazan coughed up blood, his injuries growing increasingly severe.

“Hahaha...! Come on, where’s all that knowledge you learned from the Book of the Demons Hell? Show me what you’ve got!” said The Bloodthirsty Demon, landing even harder blows.

“The Book of the Demons Hell belongs to me—I should be the one to possess it because I’m the eldest disciple, not you, the outcast!”

The Bloodthirsty Demon was too eager to eliminate Shinra Kazan and planned to take the book once Shinra Kazan was dead; he gathered his Ki into his right fist, intending to shatter Shinra Kazan’s body with a single blow.

“Death Blow.”

With all the Ki he possessed, he aimed his punch at Shinra Kazan’s chest, but The Bloodthirsty Demon’s mistake was failing to be aware of his surroundings.

The Bloodthirsty Demon stopped his fist a few centimeters from Shinra Kazan’s chest;

The Bloodthirsty Demon’s body fell to the ground, and he died instantly, while Shinra Kazan, who was also dying, struggled to reach Yuzuki Aira, who was near him.

Once their battle ended, the rain also stopped, and only the sound of the last few raindrops remained audible.

Shinra Kazan remembered Aira had once given him a bottle containing a clear liquid; he took it out and then poured the liquid into his mouth.

The liquid tasted bitter with a slightly sour aftertaste; after drinking it, nothing seemed to happen to him.

Shinra Kazan coughed and spat fresh blood from his mouth; the wound in his stomach, which he hadn’t yet staunched, now felt even worse.

He could only manage a faint smile. Shinra Kazan remembered that Aira often failed in her experiments, so he didn’t have high hopes for the liquid he was drinking.

“Aira, you were willing to die to protect me. Now you don’t have to worry anymore, because soon Hell will reunite the five of us!” said Shinra Kazan as he held Aira’s hand.

Shinra Kazan’s body slowly emitted smoke; he didn’t realize that the wound in his abdomen and the internal injuries caused by the Bloodthirsty Demon’s blow were healing.

All Shinra Kazan could feel was his bones being pressed with immense force.

Even though he was on the verge of losing consciousness, he could hear countless horses’ hooves.

Shinra Kazan faintly heard the words of the newcomers: “Hey, look—there’s a little kid’s body next to this woman’s corpse!” said the voice.

Shinra Kazan could only faintly hear their words, and he felt momentarily confused because no one had carried a small child since the fight began.

Shinra Kazan finally lost consciousness, and he no longer knew if he was dead.
