David dragged the chain, the cuff clinking tightly around Wicked’s arm. Wicked walked cautiously behind him as David pulled him forward through the corridor.

With the way he was chained, David had bound his hands so that Wicked’s palms faced each other. With him chained that way, there was no chance Wicked could attempt anything reckless.

Fifteen minutes earlier, before they arrived, Wicked had tried every possible means to escape.

At first, he believed the cuffs were loosely set, a flexible design that might just allow him to break free. In his head, he imagined the scene unfolding like a movie. He’d unlock the bolt from the inside, jump from the moving car, and vanish before they noticed.

Maria rubbed her red lipstick on her soft lips, her reflection glowing beneath the warm lights of the vanity mirror. She stared deeply at herself, tilting her head slightly, examining every angle as if perfection itself could be summoned from focus alone. She gently rubbed her upper and lower lips together, letting the smooth, glossy texture settle evenly.“Perfectly,” she said softly, stepping backward with satisfaction. The mirror reflected her from head to toe, elegance embodied. She was dressed in a shimmering gown that hugged her figure, its glistening fabric catching the golden hue of the ceiling light. Her hair flowed down her back and shoulders like a glossy cascade, strands dancing with every small movement she made. She clutched her small purse gently and crossed her legs, changing poses in front of the mirror with a teasing sort of confidence. Her body language screamed control and power. For Maria, beauty was not vanity; it was strategy. She loved what she saw.Her new loo

“We need to buy more shares from Virellon if I ever want to be a majority shareholder and take over the company.” Maira paced around the hotel room, her heels clicking against the marble floor like the ticking of a restless clock. Two hours had passed since they arrived back in Velmoria, back in the same luxurious hotel they had secured before their mission to Paris. Yet the comfort of the room meant nothing to her now. Her mind was trapped in a whirlpool of calculations and ambition. Her hand pressed against her jaw, eyes blank with worry.“What can I do?” she muttered continuously, as if her murmurs could summon an answer from the air. The night outside was heavy, the sky swollen with clouds, but sleep was a distant dream. No matter how much her body ached, her mind refused rest. Her determination burned brighter than exhaustion. She would not close her eyes until the Virellon Group was entirely under her control.“Mark!” she called suddenly, her voice slicing through the silence.T

“Humm…”“He said he doesn’t want to be disturbed,” Maria smiled faintly at the receptionist on the ground floor of the hotel lobby. Her tone was calm, confident, but it carried an undertone of urgency that made the receptionist nod immediately.“Please make sure it’s until the morning before you go check in on him,” she added, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear as if to conceal the tension rising in her chest.“Yes, ma’am,” the receptionist replied politely.“Are you not staying here until morning? I thought you came together?” the receptionist asked curiously, her voice gentle but probing.Maria’s lips curved into a louder, more practiced smile. She leaned slightly forward, her expression turning casual.“C’mon, you know how this works,” she said with a soft laugh. “I’m just a woman he spent the night with. And that’s all.”It was a lie—one she told with perfect control. The receptionist didn’t need to suspect anything, not tonight. The receptionist nodded slowly, the unde

Maria shot her eyes to the other side of the room. Her gaze darted across the corners, searching for anything, something that could be stuffed into a mouth, something medium-sized, maybe a cloth or even a seal tape, anything that would silence him before it was too late.“Gotcha!” she muttered sharply under her breath, her voice trembling with a mix of panic and control as she hurried toward the window. The curtain. It was long, elegant, and heavy. Its smooth folds reflected faint traces of light from the chandelier above. It looked like something that could be torn apart and used as a gag. Desperation was beginning to cloud her thoughts, but logic kept guiding her next move.Mark squinted his eyes, trying to understand her intention. He didn’t quite catch what she was up to yet, but he knew his boss well enough to realize she never acted without reason. Whatever Maria was planning, it was going to be brutal but smart. He watched her quietly, patient and obedient, as she touched the t

“865489!!!!” Vincent blared in pain.Maria, clutching to his manhood, squeezed it so tightly that his body jerked in agony. His eyes turned blood-red, too red that anyone watching could have mistaken it for some strange disease. Veins pulsed across his forehead as his breath hitched through clenched teeth. The tension in the room was thick enough to choke on.As the last number rolled off his tongue, Maria heard it instantly.Click.The soft sound of the briefcase unlocking echoed through the air like a victory bell.“It’s opened, boss!” Mark shouted from the other side of the room, his voice trembling with excitement.“Good boy,” Maria murmured with a smirk, patting Vincent’s head as if rewarding a loyal pet. Her tone dripped with mockery and satisfaction. She rose from the bed, her movement sharp and purposeful, and strode toward the table. Every step of her heel against the tiled floor sounded like a countdown to Vincent’s ruin.Mark hurried forward, pulling the laptop out from the

Mark carried it with both hands. The briefcase. Light in weight, yet heavy with consequence. His eyes darted between the case and his boss, sweat beading at his temples despite the air conditioning. He knew what was expected of him. Right here, right now, in Maria's presence, he had to crack it open. No excuses. No failures. He recognized the design immediately. The briefcase was engineered with reinforced steel beneath a deceptive outer shell of carbon fiber composite. Anyone foolish enough would assume they could simply smash through the plastic looking exterior to reach what lay inside. But Mark knew better. The inner core was impenetrable, designed to withstand sledgehammers, drills, even small explosives."They should have something in here that can do it," Maria snapped, her heels clicking against the concrete floor as she positioned herself beside Mark. Her hand moved to her jaw, fingers drumming an impatient rhythm. "Cut the motherfucking thing open. Now.""No, boss." Mark's
