Chapter 8

John started looking for her at the point of searching Cynthia saw him she quickly went to him 

Cynthia "Sir we are set to go and greet the new couple and we need you to join us since you are here".

John replied "Go and represent me there I will greet them later. I am busy right now going as planned before".

"Okay sir" Cynthia replied and left.

John continued with his search a few minutes later he found Sonia sitting next to his car as he approached her he noticed her face was not smiling nor happy.

"Sonia, what 's wrong with you? Have been looking for you since all this while and here you are looking upset about what is wrong," John said, breathing heavily.

Sonia replied "I just feel like being alone that's why I left you and your friend, are you ready to go home".

At least you should have told me that you are leaving to be alone rather than making me worried I am set to go home" John replied.

John stretched out his hand to Sonia she grabbed his hand to stand up, she was almost up suddenly the healshoe she put on break this makes her to lose her balance.

Sonia was about to fall immediately. John grabbed her by the waist for her to gain her balance but it failed as they both fell and Sonia fell on top of John.

This was a shock to the both of them as their eyes were both closed to each other and locked up to one another.

This closeness makes their hearts beat fast Sonia quickly stood up John stood up clearing his throat.

"Are you okay? hope you don't get hurt" John asked.

Am okay sorry for the trouble it was the heel of my shoe that got broken hope you are okay" Sonia replied.

"Am okay, let's be on our  way," John said.

They both left the party. John took Sonia directly to the More to get her another pair of heels on getting there Sonia was curious.

Sonia asked "what are we doing here? I thought you were taking me to my house why this place".

John replied "Just follow me and don't be too anxious about why we are here".

Sonia " Am I going to walk into the More with a broken shoe why did you like to make fun of me".

John replied "I am not making a joke of you sorry okay wait here for me I will be right back".

Smile

John went in and to get a new pair of heels for her, and brought them to her in the car. 

"My God! These shoes are wonderfully great and beautiful. Thank you very much". Sonia appreciated it and was very happy. 

John smiled at her and drove her home, on getting to Sonia's house all her belongings were found outside the house.

John was shocked and asked "Is that not your belongings".

Sonia rushed out of the car on getting to the door of the house. The door lock was already changed. She was so furious seeing her things outside,she picked up her phone and called the landlord.

Hello!!!.

"Why did you pack my things out when I have already promised to pay up all my debts at the end of the month? Sonia was very annoyed while talking on the phone.

The landlord replied "It is my house not yours so you can't decide for me and for your information pay up all your debit before the end of this month if not I'll get you arrested". 

Sonia angrily hangs up the call, this makes the landlord angry.

John said, "Let's pack up. You are following me to my house. It is too big for only me to live in so don't worry about what happened. I will settle all the debt but first let's pack up and leave this place".

Sonia was speechless, they both packed all her belongings and left.
