The lobby fell silent for a brief moment, then laughter exploded everywhere.
“Hahaha!”
“Did you hear that?”
“This guy has to be delusional. There’s no other explanation for his words.”
“I’ve never seen such a brazen fool before. Who does this guy think he is?”
The guests in the lobby started mocking Sebastian. They felt he had run mad and had no idea what he was saying. Some of them were looking at him like he was a lunatic with some incurable mental illness while others simply shook their heads in pity.
Cameron laughed the loudest out of everyone. He even bent slightly from laughing too hard. He didn’t know that Amelia’s fiancé was such a lunatic. He was the heir to the wealthy Vance Group. How could a lowly soldier cause any trouble for him?
“You?” Cameron pointed at Sebastian like he had just heard the greatest joke in his life. “A nobody like you thinks I’ll be in trouble?”
“This guy is so shameless! I didn’t know he was such a lunatic.” Lisa folded her arms and scoffed openly.
Amelia didn’t say a word, but she shook her head in disappointment. At first, she thought Sebastian was merely arrogant, but now, she was starting to think he was a narcissist who genuinely enjoyed bragging.
The more she looked at him, the more irritated she became. She could not understand why her grandfather insisted on marrying her to someone like him.
Cameron’s laughter slowly died down, and the smile on his face gradually disappeared, replaced by disdain.
“I’ve tolerated your nonsense long enough.” Cameron sneered. “Even the security guards here earn more in a month than what you could ever make in your entire life.”
He suddenly stretched one leg forward arrogantly, the polished leather of his shoe stopping just inches away from Sebastian.
“Kneel. Lick my shoes clean and apologize for your rudeness properly. If I’m in a good mood, I might just forgive you.” Cameron smiled cruelly.
The entire lobby slowly fell quiet as they watched the events unfold. They were enjoying the show.
Lisa covered her mouth and laughed lightly. She greatly disliked Sebastian and wanted to see him humiliated as much as possible.
Amelia, on the other hand, didn’t laugh as she felt Cameron was going too far. However, when her cold blue eyes rested on Sebastian, she didn’t offer any help. She wanted to see how far his arrogance would go. It wouldn’t be bad for him to know his place.
Besides, if he was humiliated here, her grandfather might finally see reason and call off the engagement.
Meanwhile, Sebastian remained calm at the new development, but his gaze had already turned to ice.
“The consequence of provoking me is not something you can bear. You better get on your knees and lick my boots clean; then I might forgive you. Otherwise, you’d better prepare to face the consequences.” Sebastian retorted coldly, throwing Cameron’s words right back at him.
“Wow. I’ve never seen such a braggart before.”
“Something must be really wrong with his head. How is he still pretending at this stage?”
“Is it guts or stupidity?”
The guests in the lobby shook their heads in amusement as they gossiped.
Cameron’s expression darkened completely. He had never been disrespected so much before, and by a lowly soldier no less.
“You’re courting death!”
Cameron suddenly launched a vicious kick towards Sebastian’s head. He was going to teach him a brutal lesson.
Everyone let out gasps as his leg inched towards Sebastian’s head.
"That kick!" someone shouted. "He defeated Eric six months ago with that same move!"
“The young man is doomed." Another guest shook his head in disappointment.
“That’s not all. This is a secret, but I heard he became a Taekwondo grandmaster three months ago. He’s one of the youngest people to ever become a Taekwondo grandmaster in Cloud City! That braggart is definitely doomed.” A tall man in his early thirties added.
“Hmph! Serves him right!” Lisa sneered as her eyes lit up viciously. She couldn’t wait to see Sebastian rolling on the floor in pain.
However, before anyone could react properly, Sebastian suddenly moved. He took half a step sideways and avoided Cameron’s kick effortlessly. His actions were smooth and flawless, and before anyone could react, a loud sound suddenly echoed in the lobby.
BANG!
Cameron lost his balance instantly. His body slammed heavily against the marble floor before a horrible cracking sound echoed through the lobby.
“AAARGH!” Cameron screamed miserably. His face was twisted in pain as he clutched his knee desperately. His knee was bent and twisted at an unnatural angle, and it was evident that he was in so much pain.
The entire lobby froze. The mocking whispers and laughter disappeared completely. Lisa’s eyes widened in shock, and Amelia felt her heart stop for a moment.
‘How was that possible?!’ Amelia looked at the writhing Cameron with disbelief in her eyes.
She knew Cameron’s strength very clearly. He was ridiculously strong, yet Sebastian had defeated him with a single move, and it was an effortless defeat no less.
‘Who is this man?’ Amelia’s mind raced. Was he really just a lowly soldier?
The surrounding crowd stared at Sebastian in shock and disbelief. They thought their eyes were surely deceiving them.
There was a suffocating silence in the lobby. At that moment, the sound of hurried footsteps suddenly echoed through the lobby.
“What’s going on here?!” A tall middle-aged man in a black suit strode in, followed by several burly security guards.
The middle-aged man was Boyd Harrison, the manager of the Nine Dragons Pavilion.
“Manager Boyd, you came at the perfect time.” Cameron reacted instantly, fury and pain twisting his features. He pointed at Sebastian with a shaking, enraged finger. "This man barged in here and started causing trouble! When I confronted him, he attacked me for no reason! Look at my leg!"
“Manager Boyd, throw this bastard out!” Cameron gritted his teeth painfully.
Boyd’s face darkened instantly as he glanced at Sebastian. The Vance family was quite influential in Cloud City, and Cameron was a frequent guest of the Nine Dragons Pavilion.
Sebastian, on the other hand, was just an unknown bumpkin. His plain military attire immediately told him all that he needed to know. There were no stars or ranks on his attire, which meant he was just a lowly soldier. There was simply no comparing him to someone like Cameron.
Boyd was instantly furious. How dare a lowly soldier attack a VIP like Cameron Vance? He even grievously injured him!
Boyd immediately made his judgement, and he turned to Sebastian coldly.
“You have a lot of nerve causing trouble in the Nine Dragons Pavilion. Since you don’t know your place, I’ll gladly teach you your place.”
“Guards, restrain him for me. I’ll have him arrested for assault!”
Sebastian gazed at Boyd calmly, then reached into his coat and pulled out an exquisite black gold card. On the black card was a majestic golden dragon surrounded by faint cloud engravings.
“I dare you to go ahead and do that.” Sebastian sneered coldly.
The moment Boyd saw the card clearly, his expression froze completely. The mocking smile on Cameron’s face stiffened instantly. After all, the card Sebastian was holding was none other than the legendary Heavenly Dragon card, the most powerful card in Cloud City!

Thirty men.Thirty armed men had been crushed thoroughly in less than a minute. They couldn’t even put up the slightest resistance, and the man responsible for all of it stood calmly in the middle of the alley with a cold expression on his face.Sebastian slowly lifted his gaze and stared at Quide, and that single glance nearly made Quide, the head of a notorious gang, pee his pants. As Sebastian took a step forward, Quide staggered back, only to find his back still against the wall. His earlier arrogance had completely vanished, and the only emotion he was feeling was fear and regret.“H-how…” Quide’s voice shook violently, as though he was being suffocated. “What the hell are you…?”Sebastian didn’t answer. He simply walked toward him. Each footstep he took sounded slow and steady against the frozen ground, but to Quide, it felt like the approach of death itself.“D-don’t come any closer!” Quide shouted instinctively as he pulled out a Glock 19 with trembling hands. “I’ll shoot!”Th

Quide’s words had barely left his mouth when Sebastian’s expression changed."The Rose Corporation is being attacked?"Quide's smile widened, mistaking the question for concern. "That's right. Your precious fiancée is watching her company burn as we speak. And by the time we're done with you—"Sebastian stopped paying attention to Quide the moment he heard that Amelia’s company was being attacked. A faint crease appeared between his brows, and the indifferent calm in his eyes turned extremely cold.He had no love for Amelia, at least not yet, but she was still his fiancée. She was the woman his father had chosen for him, so she was under his protection, whether she knew it or not.“Boys, finish him!” Quide ordered coldly as he cracked his neck, the scar on his face twisting. “Break his legs slowly. I want to hear him scream.”The thirty men leaped forward at once. They moved with practiced coordination, surrounding him from every direction. The first man swung a steel pipe at Sebastia

The words hung heavily in the air, and for a brief moment, the entire pharmacy went silent. They both stared at Sebastian with shock, then the pharmacist snapped.“What nonsense!” the pharmacist snarled, his face flushing red with anger. “Do you have any idea what you’re saying?!”His voice rose sharply, breaking the tense silence as he glared at Sebastian with unbridled hostility“Who do you think you are? How dare you interrupt a consultation and spout such baseless claims?”“My claims are not baseless.” Sebastian replied coolly, but his indifference only made the pharmacist more furious.“You ignorant fool!” he barked angrily. “Do you even understand the least thing about medicine? Or are you just talking to hear your own voice?”Evelyn remained silent, but her expression had grown colder. Her sharp eyes rested on Sebastian, studying him carefully. There was no arrogance or attempt to show off in his attitude, only certainty.“On what basis are you making that claim?” Evelyn finall
Chapter 11
The morning light filtered through the panoramic windows of the Rose Corporation headquarters, casting a soft glow across Amelia’s spacious office, with a view of the bustling city stretching endlessly beneath her.Amelia stood by the window with her arms folded, a cold and distant expression on her face. Behind her, Lisa sat comfortably on a plush sofa, a steaming hot cup of coffee in her hand as she spoke with a confident and dismissive tone.“I’m telling you, Amelia, you’re overthinking it,” Lisa said, waving her hand dismissively. “Sebastian? He’s just an ordinary soldier. There’s absolutely no way someone like him owns a card like that.”Amelia didn’t respond immediately. Instead, she furrowed her brows as she replayed the events of the previous night in her mind—the appearance of the Heavenly Dragon Card, Victoria Sterling’s sudden appearance, and the way everything had turned upside down so quickly.Something didn’t add up, but she couldn’t name what.Lisa leaned forward, her v

Victoria led Sebastian respectfully away from the stunned crowd, paying no attention to their whispers and hushed conversations. They arrived at a gold-plated elevator at the far end of the lobby. Victoria pressed a hidden panel beneath the call button, and the doors slid open instantly, and they stepped inside. The ride was smooth and silent, with Victoria standing just slightly behind him, her eyes fixed on his back. She studied his plain military uniform and saw nothing that suggested his importance. He had no rank, no insignia and no stars, and yet Isaac Rutherford had called her personally and warned her to treat him better than royalty. She couldn’t understand why. Why was he so respectful to an ordinary soldier?A few minutes later, the elevator doors slid open with a soft chime, revealing a private hallway that was lined with thick red carpets and warm golden lighting. At the end of the hallway stood a pair of double doors that was crafted with the finest mahogany, with two un

A ripple spread through the lobby the moment Victoria Sterling stepped inside.“Victoria Sterling?”“The executive president of the Nine Dragons Group?”“What is she doing here?”The guests who had been gleefully watching the drama unfold couldn’t hide their shock. In Cloud City, Victoria Sterling was not just a beautiful woman—she was a figure that countless elites feared. After all, a single word from her could decide the rise or fall of a company.Amelia’s brows furrowed slightly as she watched the reactions around her. She didn’t recognize Victoria immediately, but from the crowd’s response alone, she could tell this woman’s status was terrifyingly high.Lisa’s expression had also changed. She did not expect that such a powerful figure would appear because of the commotion. While the rest of the crowd were stunned, Cameron’s eyes suddenly lit up.
