Chapter 1

"You are so sweet, baby… Never had such a good sex in a while…"

Standing in front of one of the doors along the hotel hallway, twenty-seven-year-old Miles Greyson took a deep breath and swallowed nothing, contemplating on whether to knock on the door or let them have fun, hearing the hard moans and groans coming from inside the room.

'Hello, Mr. Miles. I left a bag in the backseat of your car. Can you bring it over to room 1402 at the hotel you dropped me earlier?”

He was on his way to school after his part-time job as an Uber driver when he got the call from his last client, the man he had dropped off in front of a hotel. Although he was almost late for class, he had to drive back to deliver the bag to him.

Miles curled his fingers into a ball, and just when he wanted to place a knock on the door, he couldn't help but notice the familiarity in the voice coming from the room, but there was no way it could be what he was thinking.

It couldn't be his girlfriend's voice…

He swallowed the lump that formed in his throat, finally placing a knock on the door, and waited patiently for anyone to come get the door.

Seconds slowly ticked into minutes, and it felt like he was going to stand there forever, when the door finally opened.

"You asked me to..." His voice trailed off when he saw the young lady standing in front of him, his jaw dropped and he took a step back.

"Je...ssica?" Miles's voice broke as he blinked his eyes to be sure they weren't deceiving him, but when he opened them, he still saw his girlfriend standing in front of him with her hair disheveled, along with her clothes.

"Wh... what are you doing here?" He wasn't supposed to be asking because it was already obvious, but he still asked, anyway. Jessica stared back at him with a shocked expression on her face which only lasted for about five seconds before it disappeared, replaced with fury.

"Why are you stalking me, Miles?" Jessica's voice was filled with rage as she glared back at him like she was going to pounce on him, and he raised his eyebrows, shocked.

"What the hell are you doing here? You told me we won't be able to see each other today because you had class. How come you are here?" Miles yelled at the top of his voice. His heart came breaking into shreds of pieces.

Everything felt like a dream. How his girlfriend who has claimed to love him for the past three years cheated on him, how she didn't feel remorseful about. He didn't know which hurt more.

"I told you I had class, must you stalk me?"

Miles couldn't believe his ears as she sneered at him again with no ounce of remorse in her. It almost felt like what she did was right when he never did anything to deserve this.

"You just happened not to know. This is the class she was probably talking about. Right, baby?" Miles scoffed as he watched the bastard he had taken to the hotel earlier, stand behind Jessica, and wrapped his arms around her waist, kissing her hair romantically.

Miles felt his heart wrenched, waves of jealousy spurred through him, and the urge to send a punch across his face wouldn't stop hitting at him, but he tried to hold back his anger. Even though it hurt, there was no way in hell he was going to fight over a woman, let alone the one that didn't find him worthy of her love and had decided to cheat.

"Baby... You told me your boyfriend was a part-time Uber driver. I thought it would be nice to help him with patronage..." The man pouted his lips as he turned Jessica to face him, pecking her on the lips.

"Did I do something wrong? All I wanted was to help so he could raise another money for his tuition fee. You said he gave up his own, right?"

Slowly, Miles clenched his fingers into a tight fist, throwing them a disgusting and spiteful glare.

"How could you do this to me? I gave you everything... Even though I didn't have much, I was working hard to give you the best life..."

"Best life, you said? Is this the best you could do? I asked you for three thousand dollars for a trip with my friends and you couldn't even provide it..." Jessica scoffed, then crossed her arms on her chest and straightened her back.

"What were you expecting? Stick around and live a pathetic life as you? Were you expecting me to become a loser like yourself?" The corner of her lips tucked up into a smirk as she leaned forward and stared at him, her eyes piercing into his daringly.

"Jessica..."

"My friends are dating rich guys. Going out in the latest cars... Their boyfriends are getting them gifts, but what do you have to offer?" She paused, then took a step closer to him and leaned forward, their faces just inches apart.

"A pathetic Uber driver that struggles to eat. Is that what you want me to keep up with? Never, Miles. I'm too expensive for that," she stated bluntly, then straightened her back and flipped her hair behind her ear.

"Loser, how does it feel to bring a man to fuck your girlfriend? " The man uttered in mockery as he stepped out of the room and stood in front of Miles.

"I arranged this fantastic show for you specially. A big surprise, isn't it?" He blinked, grinning provokingly.

"You bastard!" Miles grabbed the man by the collar and slammed him hard against the wall. He didn't care at that moment if this man ended up dying in his hands, he just wanted to make him pay for the insults.
