Elder Dusk stepped forward.
His hands remained clasped behind his back, posture relaxed, as though the massacre around him was nothing more than an inconvenience. His eyes, however, were cold. “I admire your courage,” Dusk said calmly, his voice carrying through the ruined hall, “walking into the Thornfells Estate and making such a mess.”
He glanced briefly at Hogan’s broken body, then looked back at Jaden with faint disdain.
“You may have defeated Hogan,” Dusk continued, “but even he is nothing more than an insect compared to me.”
A murmur rippled through the guests.
“Exactly, no one’s stronger than Elder Dusk”
“That’s Elder Dusk…”
“He’s finished now.”
Dusk took a slow step forward.
“I will give you a chance,” he said, as though bestowing mercy. “Kneel. Apologize to the young master. And I will only break your legs and spare your life.”
His tone was gentle. Reasonable. As if this were the most generous offer in the world.
The guests reacted immediately.
“He’s lucky…”
“Elder Dusk is merciful today.”
“Anyone else would’ve been killed on the spot.”
“He should kneel before it’s too late.”
Some even nodded in agreement, convinced Jaden had been granted an escape.
Jaden, however, laughed softly.
He tilted his head, studying Dusk like a curiosity.
“So you’re Dusk,” Jaden said casually. “The one your men at the gate wouldn’t shut up about.”
A few guests gasped.
“He’s mocking him…”
“Is he insane?”
“You’re quite popular,” Jaden added, a teasing edge in his voice.
The temperature in the hall plummeted.
Dusk’s expression darkened instantly. The calm façade cracked, fury flashing in his eyes. The guests felt it too—an oppressive pressure weighing down on their chests.
“How dare you!” Dusk shouted, his voice suddenly thunderous. “This is your final warning! Kneel now, or I will personally cripple you and grind your bones into dust!”
Jaden’s smile vanished.
He stepped forward, eyes cold and unyielding.
“Kneel?” Jaden said slowly. “You think I should kneel… to you?”
He looked Dusk up and down, then scoffed.
“You’re beneath my feet,” Jaden said flatly. “Why would I kneel to trash?”
The hall erupted into stunned silence.
Gasps rippled through the hall.
“Is he insane…?”
“He’s really provoking Dusk…”
“That man just killed Hogan—and now he’s asking for death?”
The guests stared at Jaden as if he were already a corpse. Some turned away, unwilling to watch what came next. Others leaned forward, eyes glittering with cruel anticipation.
Dusk cracked his knuckles slowly.
The sound echoed.
A deep purple glow seeped from his skin, wrapping his arms like living smoke. Chaotic energy spiraled around his fist, warping the air, making the torches flicker violently.
“So you chose death,” Dusk said coldly. “Seems you’re in a hurry to meet your maker.”
He took one step forward.
The stone floor cracked beneath his foot.
“Then I might as well grant you your wish.”
In the blink of an eye—
Dusk vanished.
A violent shockwave followed as he reappeared before Jaden, his fist tearing through the air, packed with enough force to shatter steel and pulp bone in a single strike.
“Yes—kill him!” Derek shouted, his face twisted in manic joy. “Crush him! Let him die like the trash he is!”
Some of the guests grinned.
Others winced.
A few even closed their eyes. They all knew only one thing happens when Dusk strikes, and that’s ultimate death.
But the impact never came.
Jaden’s hand shot up.
He caught Dusk’s fist effortlessly.
The hall froze.
“…What?” someone whispered.
“Did he just catch Dusk’s blow with one hand?”
“No one has ever done that before!”
The purple energy around Dusk’s arm trembled violently, like it had struck an immovable wall. No matter how much power he poured in, his punch wouldn’t move another inch.
Jaden tilted his head slightly, eyes calm—it felt like he was watching a child misbehaving.
“Too much talk,” he said quietly, “for such a weak man.”
Then—
BOOM.
A golden aura erupted from Jaden’s body. It wasn't explosive energy but it was overwhelming.
The air grew heavy—so heavy that several guests dropped to one knee without realizing it. The walls groaned. The chandeliers rattled. Even the chaotic purple energy around Dusk was crushed flat, snuffed out like a candle in a storm.
Dusk’s smile vanished as his pupils shrank, the sudden pressure of that presence was suffocating, overwhelming, and absolutely crashing down on him. His breath hitched, his hands beginning to shake as the weight of that authority settled deep into his bones.
No…
Impossible…
Only one man…
Memories flooded his mind—the rumors of one man, the dominator of wars. The man who saved the entire country single handedly.
Dusk’s breath hitched.
His voice dropped, barely audible. “That... that can’t be... Who are you?”

Arm Wrestling
The following morning, the usually disciplined atmosphere of the Special Forces Headquarters had become unusually lively. Following Jaden’s orders from the previous night, Hope had immediately transmitted an emergency assembly notice to every member of the Warlord Division. However, not all of them could answer the summons. Lysandra was still carrying out a long-range operation near the northern frontier, Ronan had yet to report back from an infiltration mission, and Valeria was somewhere in the eastern provinces hunting down a notorious insurgent group. For the moment, only three Warlords had arrived at headquarters.Commander Drax.Kaiden Ashcroft. And the Iron Warlord himself…Ares Voss. The sight of Ares alone was enough to make ordinary soldiers unconsciously step aside whenever he walked through the halls. Standing nearly seven feet tall, the giant looked less like a human being and more like a fortress given life. His broad shoulders seemed capable of blocking an entire doorway
Plan to rescue Donald Winston
Jaden stepped out of the shattered conference room as though nothing extraordinary had happened. Behind him, the luxurious chamber was left in complete ruin, its expensive furniture reduced to splinters while Vin and Jin remained unconscious beneath piles of broken debris. Several guards stared at him from a distance, but not a single one dared to move. They had witnessed enough to understand that stopping the King of War was nothing more than wishful thinking. Jaden calmly adjusted the collar of his coat, slipped both hands into his pockets, and walked back toward the grand banquet hall with the same composed expression he had worn when he first arrived.By the time he entered the gala, the atmosphere had changed completely. The once lively hall was beginning to empty as influential guests slowly departed after concluding their private discussions. Elegant music still echoed through the ballroom, servants continued serving wine, and businessmen exchanged polite smiles, but Jaden’s sh

Harry’s smile had disappeared completely. His fingers slowly clenched into fists.Elias shifted his attention toward Golden Marlon.“And then…”“The Marlon Family.”Golden remained silent.“Your family’s weapons business once dominated the entire continent.”“You supplied governments…”“…private contractors…”“…security firms…”“And countless underground organizations.”“You became wealthy because violence was profitable.”Golden narrowed his eyes.“But then the Special Forces discovered your shipments.”“They uncovered evidence that your weapons were arming terrorist groups, criminal syndicates, drug cartels, and warlords.”“The King of War personally authorized sanctions against your family.”“You were forced to terminate every illegal contract.”“Now…”“You manufacture almost exclusively for government agencies.”“Your profits have dropped dramatically.”Golden slowly lowered his head.Elias smiled knowingly.“So tell me…”“Was it really the law that ruined your business?”“…or was
Alliance III
The conference room echoed with laughter as nearly everyone around the table wore amused expressions. To them, Elias Crowe’s proposal bordered on insanity. They had expected discussions about trade agreements, territorial expansion, or perhaps a merger between powerful business empires. Instead, they were being asked to wage war against the most feared military figure in Karethwyn. It sounded less like an alliance and more like collective suicide.Golden Marlon was the first to rise from his chair, still chuckling as he straightened his expensive suit. “What a complete waste of time,” he said, shaking his head. “I actually postponed an important weapons contract to attend this meeting. Had I known this was your grand proposal, I wouldn’t have bothered stepping foot in Ravenmoor.”Harry Blake also stood, lazily adjusting the cufflinks on his sleeves. “I have to agree. You’re asking us to gamble our families against the King of War. Even if victory is possible, the cost alone would crip

Before he could continue, Golden Marlon impatiently leaned back in his chair and folded his arms.“Enough with the greetings.”The room fell quiet.Golden looked directly at Elias.“We didn’t fly across the country to exchange pleasantries.”His fingers tapped impatiently against the table.“Get to the point.”“What exactly is so important that it required gathering all of us here?”Several others nodded in agreement.Harry Blake casually crossed one leg over the other.“I agree.”“Every person in this room manages businesses worth billions.”“If this meeting isn’t worth our time, I won’t hesitate to leave.”Kenji Magami calmly sipped his tea without saying anything, while Alejandro De la Cruz simply smiled, interested to hear what could possibly unite so many influential families.Elias chuckled lightly.“I expected someone would ask that.”He slowly clasped his hands behind his back before walking toward the large digital screen behind him.“Very well.”“I’ll go straight to the poin
