The moment Harrison barked out his order, the crowd of men behind him surged forward. Hundreds of bodies pressed in from every direction, closing in on Jaden and his companions like a pack of rabid wolves. Their footsteps shook the ground, their shouts deafening the corridor.

“Protect Mr. Rift!” Morix bellowed, his voice cutting through the chaos like a whip.

His dozen elite bodyguards immediately formed a protective line in front of Jaden. Without hesitation, Morix hurled himself into the fray. His fists were merciless, his movements fluid and practiced. Every strike carried the weight of years spent on the streets, each blow dropping men faster than they could regroup.

Bones cracked. Blood sprayed. Within seconds, a dozen of Harrison’s men were either sprawled out cold or screaming on the floor.

Jaden smiled, he was a little impressed by Morix's strength. He had been wondering who was stronger between Morix and Drax, but the difference was clear although Morix was a deadly fighter.

In a calm, deliberate manner, Jaden walked across the lavish room and sat on the sofa as if he owned the place. His presence filled the mansion, a quiet dominance that made the air heavy. His eyes swept across the cluttered table. Bottles of imported pills, half-empty glasses of whiskey, a cigar tray still smoking faintly. His gaze finally settled on Jones Morello. His voice was steady, almost casual, but every word carried the weight of judgment.“Are you surprised?” Jaden asked, leaning back into the sofa like he was already the master of this house.Jones stiffened. His lips trembled before he forced a smile. “Petro and his men…” He started to ask, but quickly realized how foolish the question sounded. He swallowed hard, changing course. “What… what are you doing here?”Jaden’s lips curved in a faint, dangerous smile. “I thought you wanted to ask where Petro and his friends went.” His tone was light, mocking. “They’re already on the way to hell. And I came here to send you after th

Even the groans of the injured guards seemed to fade.Jaden, who had been walking calmly toward the grand doors of the mansion, stopped mid-step. Slowly, he turned his head, his gaze falling on Kaegus with an expression as sharp as a blade.“You recognize me,” Jaden said, his voice low and steady, carrying an icy weight. “That’s rare.”Kaegus’ heart thudded violently in his chest. When he had blurted out the name, he wasn’t entirely certain. But the moment Jaden acknowledged it, his suspicions solidified into truth. His pupils widened, and he felt a chill crawl up his spine. This man… standing in front of him… was not just any
