At Shark’s order, the twenty men surged forward like a wave of shadows, their knives gleaming coldly under the mall’s bright lights.

The first man charged recklessly, roaring as he raised his blade above his head, aiming to split Jaden’s skull in half.

Whoosh!

Before the knife even began its descent, Jaden’s arm moved. The black umbrella in his hand shot forward with blinding speed, the tip driving straight into the man’s throat. The attacker’s eyes bulged in shock. A wet gurgle escaped his lips as blood sprayed from the wound, and he collapsed heavily to the floor.

The others hesitated for only a second before pressing on. Two men came at Jaden from both sides, knives slashing toward his ribs.

Step. Step.

Jaden advanced calmly, as though he were strolling through a quiet park. The umbrella swung in a sharp arc.

Crack! Crack!

Both men screamed in agony as their kneecaps shattered under the brutal strike. Their legs bent unnaturally as they dropped to the ground, rolling and clutching

It was already afternoon by the time Jaden returned home. The house was quiet except for the faint sound of cartoons drifting from the living room. Since it was a Sunday, Selena and Mia were both home, the rare peace of family life softening the edges of Jaden’s otherwise ruthless world. The moment Mia spotted him, her eyes lit up like fireworks. She jumped up from the couch, her tiny legs carrying her as fast as they could across the floor. “Papa!” she squealed, her voice bubbling with joy.Jaden bent down, scooping her into his arms with practiced ease. He pressed a kiss to her warm, chubby cheeks, breathing in the sweet scent of her hair. “Have you finished your homework?” he asked, feigning sternness but unable to hide the fondness in his voice.Mia puffed out her chest proudly, a smug grin spreading across her little face. “I finished it ages ago! Papa, you promised—you said if I finished, you’d take me out to play!”Before Jaden could respond, Selena’s voice cut in from the dini

Julian had originally wanted to savor the moment, tearing Tessa’s clothes away piece by piece, making her humiliation last as long as possible. But his lust had grown too wild, too consuming. With an impatient snarl, he ripped off his own shirt and tossed it aside. His hand shot forward, fingers curling around the fabric of Tessa’s blouse, ready to rip it away in one violent motion. He leaned closer, his hot breath brushing her cheek. “I’ll strip you bare, right here, in the wildest way you can imagine,” he whispered, his voice hoarse with frenzy. But before his fingers could tear the fabric, he froze.A chill unlike anything he had ever felt before washed over him—a suffocating, murderous intent that seemed to stab into his very bones. The hairs on the back of his neck rose as if he were prey being targeted by a predator.Julian’s body stiffened. His hand trembled for a fraction of a second before he ripped it away from Tessa and scrambled to his feet, spinning around to face the sou

Elias slammed his fist against the armrest, frustration boiling over. “Rift and Sable… they escaped again! Unscathed, like always!”His outburst hung in the air, sharp and bitter.Lazarus Ortega, however, didn’t so much as twitch. Reclining lazily in his chair, he swirled the wine in his glass and spoke with unnerving calm.“Don’t trouble yourself. They’ve been a thorn for more than just you. They killed Black Monarch—one of my men. And worse, they dared to forbid anyone from running gray businesses in Ironvale City.” His eyes narrowed, the cold gleam within them betraying his fury. “That alone cost me millions. They’ve cut off my earnings, Elias. That is why I came here. My sole purpose this time… is to deal with them personally.”He took a slow sip of his wine, savoring it like a predator savoring blood.“My original plan,” Lazarus went on, his tone dripping with disdain, “was for Duvan to remove Rift and Sable for me. But he proved useless. A dog who barked too loudly and died too

After issuing his orders, Jaden turned to Kaelus. His tone was sharp, leaving no room for argument.“Make sure no word of my involvement leaks. Not a whisper. Not a shadow. Clean this up completely.”Kaelus bowed his head with grim determination. “Understood.”Without another glance, Jaden slid into a waiting vehicle. As the convoy carried him back toward Ironvale City, his expression was unreadable. Behind him, the battlefield was already being swept clean, erasing all traces of the slaughter. By the time the sun rose, the Duvan family would exist only as a whisper of history.…Moonlight Bay, Ironvale City.Out in the calm waters, a luxury yacht floated like a palace on the waves. Its decks glittered with expensive lanterns, the faint notes of live music drifting on the night air. Laughter and clinking glasses filled the atmosphere, the kind of decadence only the city’s most powerful could afford. At the center of it all sat Lazarus Ortega. Reclining comfortably with a glass of fine

What came next froze every last drop of blood in the Duvan men’s veins. From above, the steady whir of rotor blades thickened into a thunderous roar. Two armored helicopters cut through the night sky, searchlights blazing down like the judgment of heaven itself. Their mounted high-speed machine guns swiveled into place, locking onto Kent’s remaining men. The message was clear—if anyone so much as twitched toward a vehicle, they wouldn’t get ten meters before being turned into shredded meat. The ground rumbled again as one of the tank hatches creaked open. A colonel in full combat fatigues emerged, his face expressionless, every inch the hardened soldier. Pressing a hand to the wireless earpiece on his helmet, his voice boomed like iron.“Secure the area! Not even a bird is allowed to leave this place!”His order was like a war drum.Within seconds, over two thousand fully armed soldiers tightened their encirclement. Boots slammed into the dirt with machine-like precision, the sound re

He sneered, his voice sharp with contempt. “You’ve clearly never fired a gun in your life. The thumb safety’s still on. You don’t even know the basics—and yet you thought you could kill me?”The words struck deeper than any blade.Kent blinked, stunned. His eyes darted down to the pistol. Sure enough, the safety was still locked, and worse—he hadn’t even chambered a round. The realization sank like lead in his gut.He cursed himself, fury and shame burning his face. Then, unable to help himself, he cursed Jaden for pointing it out in front of his men.Jaden’s gaze sharpened, cutting through him like ice. “If you were trying to make yourself look like a fool, congratulations. You’ve succeeded. But don’t worry—I’ll let my men teach you the proper way to handle a weapon.”With deliberate calm, Jaden raised his right hand, curling his fingers into a fist. It was the simplest ges
