The captain couldn’t hide the excitement in his voice as he stared at Drax. “The moment I heard that a Warlord had boarded my ship, I sent a message directly to the Black Covenant. I knew a hundred Grimm Reapers wouldn’t be enough to guarantee your death, so I requested something far more dangerous.”Drax’s eyes narrowed as he listened.“The Black Covenant answered my request,” the captain continued. “They sent one of their executives. An anomaly that has never been defeated in combat. Until tonight, the world didn’t even know he existed. He is one of the most dangerous weapons under the organization’s command, and he has been kept hidden for a very good reason.”The massive man standing behind him remained completely silent.“His name is Ragnar Eon,” the captain said with a grin. “But the people who know what he’s capable of call him the Living Timebomb.”Drax looked the giant up and down.“The Living Timebomb?”“That’s right.”“So he carried bomb around or what?”The captain’s smile

Drax began walking toward the captain.For the first time since he had entered the room, the confidence on the man’s face disappeared. He slowly backed away, his eyes darting toward the bodies of the Grimm Reapers scattered across the floor.“You’ve lost,” Drax said.The captain’s expression hardened. “Stay back!”He suddenly pulled a pistol from beneath his coat and aimed it directly at Drax. Drax didn’t even slow down. The captain squeezed the trigger, but before he could fire again, Drax was already in front of him. He seized the man’s wrist and twisted it violently to the side, knocking the gun from his hand. Before the captain could react, Drax struck him across the face and sent him stumbling backward.Drax stared at him coldly. “It’s over. You lost.”“You bastard!” Emily screamed.She rushed toward Drax and threw a punch at his face, but Drax caught her wrist effortlessly. Drax didn’t give the Grimm Reapers another second to recover. He charged straight into them, his fists moving with frightening speed as he struck one man after another. Every blow carried far more force than before, and the impact sent bodies crashing into walls, tables, and the floor. Yet the Grimm Reapers kept coming, ignoring injuries that would have stopped ordinary fighters.The more Drax fought, the more he understood the difference between them and normal soldiers. These men weren’t simply strong; they had been trained to disregard their own physical limits. A broken arm didn’t slow them down. A cracked rib didn’t make them retreat. The captain studied Drax for a moment before his eyes shifted toward Charlotte, who was still lying on the floor with her hands tied and tape covering her mouth. “Tell me something,” he said. “Why is that girl so important to you?” Drax didn’t even look at him. “That isn’t your business.” The captain raised an eyebrow. “You came all the way to my ship, killed my men, and risked your life for her. There has to be a reason.” “All you need to know is that I was sent to rescue her,” Drax replied coldly. “And nothing you do is going to stop me.” The captain stared at him for a few seconds before laughing. “Fine. We’ll see about that.” He slowly turned toward the men surrounding Drax. “You think these are ordinary guards?” Drax glanced around the room. The captain smiled. “They aren’t. They are the Grimm Reapers.” A murmur passed through the room, but the men themselves remained completely expressionless. “They were trained from childhood for one purpose,” the captain continued.

The man in his forties who was the captain took another slow drag from his cigarette before leaning back in his chair. His eyes remained fixed on Drax, and there was a faint smile on his face, as though everything happening in the room had already been decided.“So the rumors were true,” he said calmly. “A Warlord really did board my ship.”His smile widened.“What a pleasant surprise.”Drax didn’t answer. His eyes moved across the room, counting the armed men surrounding him. There had to be at least a hundred, and unlike the guards he had fought below deck, these men were clearly prepared for battle. The girls froze when they saw Drax standing in the doorway. Their eyes widened with fear as several of them instinctively moved backward, pressing themselves against the walls.“Please, don’t hurt us!”“Please let us go!”“We haven’t done anything!”Their frightened voices overlapped, and Drax immediately understood what had happened. I am LOVING Ares so far. His size, strength, intellect and his devotion to Jaden are EVERYTHING! His fighting skills, excellent! Nobody replaces Drax for me tho...
I like Ares as a character. He seems to to be a great Warlord and he has a cool, funny and confident personality. I think Jaden will have to come and step in to clean things up now.
