In the evening, as Constantine approached her door, she encountered a motionless girl waiting just outside.

"Hello! How may I assist you? What brings you here?" Constantine leaned forward toward the girl.

Constantine laid her hand gently on the girl's shoulder. In an instant, the girl raised her head to meet Constantine's gaze. Her eyes, once ordinary, now glowed entirely black, ablaze with shadows.

She gripped a knife tightly, raising it with the intent to stab Constantine.

Constantine stumbled, losing her balance, and found herself sprawled on the floor. She scrambled on all fours, desperately crawling away from the approaching girl with a mixture of fear and urgency.

"I have no intention of causing harm to you, whether you're a girl or whatever entity resides within this child's body," Constantine expressed.

"Who do you believe yourself to be? Our plans will forever elude your understanding," the girl declared, advancing menacingly toward Constantine.
