Jackson returns to the Borges house, pleased with lunch. He goes to the kitchen and finds his mother washing the dishes.

"Mom, haven't you learned how to put the dishes in the dishwasher yet?" Jackson promptly takes over his mother's task.

"Thank you, my son. You're always thoughtful."

"Where's Dad?" Jackson looks around.

"Would you be willing to peacefully coexist with Cindy?" Jackson releases the hug and stands next to her.

Vanda looks at her son. "We'd have to erase all of her past and start a new story, without considering what Patty and Matt think of her."

The sound of his boots with every step left a sinister impression in the room.“I imagine you want to talk about—” Ernesto said, embarrassed.“About your perverted, drugged-up son who dared to sell drugs here at the company,” Patricia snapped. “Not satisfied with that, he made advances toward me.”Patricia rose slowly, her pale expression giving way to a furious one.“Miss Borges, regarding the second part—”“Are you still going to deny it? The more I think about it, the more sense it makes. Your son really was interested in me. Fernando Silva detected it but was discredited. “What is it, dear?” Karl asked.“You are acting horribly,” Sheila replied. “I bet Linda is suffering more than all the other family members combined, yet here we are, judging and condemning the poor girl.”“Wake up, Sheila,” Alice said with extreme disdain. “Gustavo Alvares was selling drugs in the diner YOUR SON opened.”“Plus, Matt didn’t even come down to breakfast with us, did he?” Abner noted. “He’s already gone to the police station to help however he can.”“My boy won’t leave a stone unturned,” Karl affirmed with pride.“It happens, people,” Sheila said, feeling emotional. “It’s perfectly possible that Gustavo kept this ‘job’ of his hidden from his family. Especially if he never consumed what he sold.”“No, he never looked like the type to use drugs to me,” Karl mused. “No, the bastard only sold them, causing misery in other families while he went home with money in his pocket.”Alice finished her breakfast and rose from the table. “I’ll call Emmanuelle.
