Because of yesterday's incident, James decided not to come to work today. He informed Iris on his phone that he would not be coming to work.
That morning, James was still at the Rosewood residence with Caroline. Over the past few days, Caroline's attitude had changed so favorably towards him, even though there were other men trying to win his heart.
But Caroline never paid any attention to him. She may have been friendly to him, but Caroline's heart was entirely for James.
